Butterbeast burger with cheese and bacon fries.

While visiting my daughter that goes to Wilberforce we stumbled upon a shopping center with a few restaurants and were torn between Butterbee's and Applebees. We decided on Butterbee's because we don't have one in our area and wanted to try something different. When I say I CAN'T WAIT to go back!!! The server, the service and the food was AMAZING. Very versatile menu and everyone was satisfied with their meals.

We have been 3 times since finding them last summer, both locations are amazing!! Always tasty food, something is on special and everything is clean!

First let me say I love a good burger and any homemade style cobbler. The burger here was perfectly prepared and you could tell it wasn't just a patty off the Cisco truck, it was made in house. I love med the burger. The cobbler was good, but I could tell it was microwaved to be heated up. Sad but I do understand, it isn't easy keeping things like this hot for guests. It didn't take away from me eating and enjoying it. The waitress was super sweet and took great care of me during my stay. I wish I could remember her name to mention it. One day I will remember to write things down. She was a rockstar with her food suggestions. I can't wait to come back if and when I am in the area.

Let me start off by saying Butterbee's has the best buffalo sauce in the Nati. This location is my favorite to watch a game, the food is equal across all the locations. My meal of choice is grilled tenders with rice.. oh yeah!! Then a pour some of that Nati best original buffalo all over it. The pickles are amazing yes also dipping them in orginal buffalo. Stop enjoy something with buffalo and get a super cold beer!! Bee's the hidden gem of the Nati for wings.

The service was really nice, our server Kenzie did a really good job and the food was really good!! Would come back again I will say the shark attack drink was a little strong!

So I'd rate this establishment a 3.5 but I'll round up to a 4…read more The family and I came here for dinner on Saturday night and we had a really nice time. Bite has been on my husband's list for awhile because he's all about local small businesses. Any who, here is what we ordered.. Blue crab smothered fries 7/10 - So I don't know if they used fresh blue crab or in a tin, but nonetheless this was fairly good. Quite an innovative plate I would say.. I didn't know what to expect, maybe something more like a poutine...? The flavor of the blue crab and shrimp were seasoned very nicely. My only two recommendation would be... 1) they should make their fries fresh in-house - I could tell these were frozen fries and then 2) I would have like to see the "smothered" cheese/sauce be thicker because it was quite watery. Chicken alla vodka 6/10 - The crispy chicken cutlet was very good! Probably the best part of the dish. As for the vodka sauce - I thought that this was just okay and possibly its just my taste preference. There was a heavy taste of possibly too much cream? Or maybe even sour cream? I can't put my finger on it.. I don't know if it's me (it probably is), but I tasted even a hint of mustard...? Anywho... this dish was okay, the chicken really saved it for me. I recommend that they should do grated pecorino vs slices only because the cheese would be even distributed throughout the dish. The vodka pasta tasted better the next day as a leftover because I put a ton of parmesan cheese. Blueberry maple salmon 9/10 - My husband ordered this dish and I would agree that this dish was the winner of the night. Another innovative dish for a quaint local establishment. The salmon had a real nice crisp, cooked perfectly to medium, and there was a really nice smokey taste to the salmon. Overall a good dining experience - definitely small recommendations on a couple of the things we ordered on execution, but nonetheless we'd come back here to support.

I was with a friend that I hadn't seen in a while, and chose to sit outside. This is a perfect place to have a long lunch as they don't care if you stay and visit (we were there for over 2 hours). Our service was good and very friendly. We ordered the fish sandwich with mixed vegetables, and the chicken Caesar sandwich with fries. They were able to blacken my chicken instead of fried chicken, which I appreciated. I also wanted to have my side be onion rings, but they said they couldn't make a side of those, so I ordered the appetizer of onion rings. Holy smokes the serving was HUGE! They were also some of the best onion rings I have had. The sandwiches were cooked perfectly, and the side of broccoli, cauliflower, and asparagus was fantastic. We also ordered iced tea, and it comes in a very large Mason jar and was brewed fresh. Yum. I have read some reviews about dinner that were not as favorable, but for a leisurely lunch, this place cannot be beat and was worth our drive.

One friend got the buffalo mac, the other got the teriyaki chicken with rice and broccoli. Both were very happy with their orders!! I ordered the teriyaki salmon with a side house salad with raspberry vinaigrette and mac n cheese. I'm not a big vinaigrette girly, so I'm not sure what came over me to order it, but it was DELICIOUS. 0% bitter and the slightest hint of sweetness - I was in love. The salmon was cooked wonderfully and the glaze had a sweet hint of something that I couldn't fully pinpoint (pineapple chunks, perhaps?) The mac n cheese was the low point of my meal and not even because it was bad...just because it wasn't anything to write home about. I totally will go back and it was very much worth the visit!! **can't remember how allergy friendly conditions were for the meals. Double check their menu before you go!

We were fine to wait a few minutes though for a table. Once seated, we tried to order drinks. Someone from my party tried to order a French martini, and we were told by the our waitress that the bartender could not make. They gave us no reason why. She then tried to order an espresso martini from the menu, and we were told that they were out of espresso. Lastly, she ordered a cosmopolitan, which came out light pink and tasted nothing like a cosmo - we all tried it. So the drinks already left us a muffed. We then ordered appetizers, and made the mistake of not ordering our dinners at the same time. The appetizers, which was the spinach dip and buffalo chicken dip, came out not too long after we placed the order. They were hot and had good flavor. The spinach dip was cheesy and had good texture, and the buffalo chicken dip was not overly spicy. We were glad to have these, as we then had to wait over an 1.5 hours for our dinners. By the time our dinners finally came to us, some of us were not even hungry anymore. During this entire time, our waitress probably checked on us twice and we had to ask other people for refills on our waters. I enjoyed my simple salad, but was told that some of the sides others got came out cold and the only burger our table ordered came out over done. At the end of all of this, our waitress then gave us the wrong bill, which made us wait even longer for her to come back to give us the correct bill. We were a group of 4, who all got drinks, appetizers, and meals, and we were given a bill with two meals and kids chicken tenders on it. Overall we had a less than great experience this Monday evening. We left under-satisfied and way later in the day than we originally planned. We felt the service was greatly lacking and the food did not make up for it. While we really wanted to like this place as the vibes are nice, the menu has many options for all eaters, the regulars at the bar looked happy and well taken care of, and the patio is huge, we did not and will not be back.

The fried egg was a nice protein addition. Overall, the dish came together. I'm not from Cincinnati, but they apparently have a regional goetta dish. I ordered the vegan version, and it was really well done. Good on the restaurant for thinking to offer a vegan version. All told, this was an exception place. By Golly's used to be the place where you left wondering if you'd just pulled off a heist...huge portions, real flavor, actual value. Now it feels like the new management has flipped the model to: charge more, deliver less, hope nobody notices. We noticed. Prices are premium, but the experience is bargain-bin. One overworked employee juggling the entire floor on a half-full Sunday isn't service...it's triage. And the food? Bacon so undercooked it practically squeals, burgers and buns burnt like they lost a bet, and somewhere under the carbon you can taste what used to be a pretty good patty. If you eat in, they have those fancy new platters for improved presentation...I'd rather have good food than a sexy plate. The milkshake is the real magic trick...almost $7 for a "large" that's one-third whipped cream, two-thirds regret (looked like 8-10 ounces of shake). Across the street, you get about 3X more, better, faster, and cheaper. That's not competition...that's a tutorial. To-go order? No napkins, no utensils. Fast food places get that right...and for a third of the price. But hey, nice paper boxes. Really elevates the disappointment. At this point, it's not a restaurant with a bar...it's a bar where food is an afterthought. Fancier plates, sure, but that's lipstick on a burger that used to matter. They might be making money for now, (although I've not seen the Milford parking lot packed since the old management) but this is how places lose the room...families fade out, regulars disappear (except for the bargain beer drinkers...heck I may come for $3 Miller Lites in March, but I'll eat elsewhere), and suddenly "pretty good" becomes "why are we here?" I wondered by their reviews have tanked. It didn't used to be like this. That's a problem...and yet with all the locations it's as if they think they're worthy of franchising. I could go to a big chain, buy a much better couple of burgers, fries and a shake and afford new platters and still get a better meal and reusable utensils and plates, for much less. I give em 2 years. What private equity firm would even look at such a mediocre product. I used to be one of their biggest fans. :-( In accordance with Yelp standards, no specific competitors were mentioned in this review. Only the general state of the competitive market.
