Business lunch, we were seated right away. Our waitress was getting drink orders and food orders right away. She gave us time to look over the menu and was helpful with substitutions and add ons. The ambiance is your typical chain grille with booths and tables and seats at the counter. I ordered the crispy chicken salad and substituted the crispy chicken for grilled chicken and added literally one egg cut in half for $1.00. I had honey mustard dressing but also got some ranch incase I didn't like it. But I liked it! Honey mustard for the win. It was fresh and good, and the chicken was moist. We did have to ask a couple times for napkins. And I ordered lemon on the side but it came on the side of my cup which was ok, but since there was no dish and no napkins I had to just put the squeezed remains on the table with the seeds lol. Service was very good. Food was just ok. The dining area is very noisy due to the multitude of TVs, which makes it very difficult to have a conversation. The draft root beer is great, but make sure to ask for no ice since they automatically put ice in the glass, which is a definite no-no for draft root beer. read more

I have to say that I was rather pleasantly surprised by Butterbee's American Grille! My husband's company got catering from here for their company picnic which allowed me to try many items! Faves: potato wedges, saratoga chips, salsa, and southwest ranch. I also tried the pulled pork, boneless wings, housemade ranch, bbq sauce, buffalo sauce, tortilla chips, and house salad. All were solid. The boneless wings (more like mini tenders) were a bit dry and underwhelming, but the sauces were good enough that I didn't mind. First let me say I love a good burger and any homemade style cobbler. The burger here was perfectly prepared and you could tell it wasn't just a patty off the Cisco truck, it was made in house. I love med the burger. The cobbler was good, but I could tell it was microwaved to be heated up. Sad but I do understand, it isn't easy keeping things like this hot for guests. It didn't take away from me eating and enjoying it. The waitress was super sweet and took great care of me during my stay. I wish I could remember her name to mention it. I would give 0 stars if I could. We walked in, they were busy but there was no wait to seat the two of us. One of the male managers sat us at a table and we thanked him and started looking over the menu because It was our first time. We decided on drinks, apps, then entrees. About 20 minutes after sitting at a table and watching other guests notice we weren't getting service and being ignored by several members of the staff, we left our menus and walked out. Meet the Butterbeast! 2 thick burgers, 2 slices of bacon, 3 buns, 2 slices of melted cheese, special sauce and 2 layers of onion, tomato, lettuce and pickles. Served with a side of waffle fries. Decent food. The drinks aren't that fabulous. The staff is friendly. It's a decent place for lunch. Although some items are pricey.

Horrible food! Service was great, but food can't say the same for. The cedar plank salmon was a piece of slimy mush. The skin was a soft mush as well. It was even served skin side up. It was definitely a microwaved piece of salmon, as it was piping hot when served but the plank was ice cold. I grill salmon for my wife at least once a week and this never touched a grill day of order. There customer service is horrible as well. I didn't complain at the restaurant, per my wife, but did from the receipt review. They reached out quickly with text but did nothing but defend that they never microwave anything and everything is fresh and grilled. I have never seen a piece of slimy mushy salmon with no crispness on it when piping hot, as well as no char on an ice cold cedar plank. We weren't looking for anything in return from customer service, but for them to just defend themselves and basically say too bad, not a restaurant I want to attend again. Take a look at the attached picture closely to see how slimy the salmon is and no char on anything. You can even see the sliminess on the plank and plate in the pic. Stay away!! read more

Stopped in after church for lunch. The hubby had the pulled pork dinner and I had the teriyaki salmon. We were seated quickly and our server was the nicest ever; she was super efficient and knew her menu and anticipated all our needs before we knew we needed them. I ordered the pretzel bites they told me 15 minutes to come pick up I came in 20 and waited another 20 to get these greesy burnt looking bites crazy I thought I didn't want to order them for pick up because they would get could decided to anyway never would I have thought that I would receive burnt ass pretzels and I was really excited when I had to wait another 20 minutes because I thought wow at least they'll be super fresh and hot and tasty like they are when I eat in the restaurant but no a total waste of money unless you're looking for every bite being as if you were eating an old stale French fry. We are somewhat new to the place called Butterbees. This particular location replaced Applebee's when Applebee's decided to close some locations. It's a pretty solid bar and grill with decent food. I always order the chicken tenders they are really good and kind of one-of-a-kind. Service is about standard as any other grill/bar you'll end up with decent service sometimes and others will be below standard. Our last visit was pretty decent. The manager walked by and got me a refill and wanted to know who my server was as apparently it's unacceptable to let a glass sit empty. Even though, I wasn't to upset about it. We went for the first time on Veterans Day and I expected the wait to be long but we were able to get a booth right away even though it was packed. We got the cheesy fries as an appetizer and they were amazing! I got the chicken fingers which were large and juicy, and my boyfriend got one of their burgers.
