I don't usually leave reviews, but this place absolutely earned one. We had a wonderful family lunch at Ford's Garage, and everything exceeded our expectations. George was our server, and he truly made the experience unforgettable. His service was fast, intentional, and fun. He shared stories about the beers we ordered and the history behind the restaurant, which made the meal feel much more personal. The food was fantastic! I had the bison burger, and it was one of the best burgers I've had. Everyone in our family loved their meals. Great food, incredible service, and a fun atmosphere. We will definitely be back. The atmosphere is really fun -- they have plenty of TVs and all the details that make it feel like an old Ford auto mechanic shop, with old cars, vintage photos, and even gas pump handles as faucets in the bathrooms. Nice place! I had the High Octane burger. Very flavorful but the tomato was horrible!!!! It was the end part and should have never been on a $17.00 burger. We had a person in our party with a shellfish allergy and they were very attentive and knowledgeable about what was cross contaminated. The portions were great. Located in a very nice shopping area, this restaurant stands out when you're walking around looking for food. True to their name, it looks like a garage, complete with old Ford cars parked out front and gas spicket door handles on the front doors. The inside is decked out in Ford memorabilia and sayings from Mr. Ford himself. Nice open area with lots of seating options for big groups. We were seated immediately and we had a great waitress who kept our drinks filled and checked on us regularly. My hubby ordered a half rack of ribs with fries and I ordered the smoked brisket burnt ends melt with chips. My hubby enjoyed his ribs but said they were a tad dry. The fries were fabulous! Just recently my husband and I were in the neighborhood, looking for somewhere to have dinner that works with my current diet restrictions. Ford's Garage fit the bill! First, I love the decor and the old-fashioned cars out front. The staff is also warm, friendly, and helpful. For my meal, I chose to get a burger and was pleased to see that bison was an option for the meat. More than that, I appreciated the option to substitute green beans or a side salad for fries. Only gave it 2 stars cause the kitchen does what they have done in the past, made beautiful and tasty food! Whoever decided the music needs to be arena levels of loud needs to go work somewhere else. While you're at it, take whoever set up the soda mixes... it takes a lot for me not to drink a soda, I asked for a coke/pepsi because my Mr pibb was so off there was no flavor, not even seltzer water. The cola (not sure which) was see through and tasted even worse. I gave up. Good thing we got the check chucked on the table before I could talk to the server or get dessert. Food is great! We have visited a few times and never had a bad meal. The burgers always come out the way you ask. The waitstaff is very pleasant. They are good with kids. The only problem we have ever had is with the hostess. Same hostess and she is not pleasant. Yesterday we asked for a high chair and she asked if we could use a booster seat. I said no he needs a high chair. She then told me the booster seats have a strap. I again said no, he's small enough he needs the high chair. She rolled her eyes and huffed off. Was in the area on a weekend boondoggle and of course we had to eat. Being a gear head I was intrigued to stop at Ford's. From the moment you drive up you know this is going to be good. Once we arrived we were seated and I'm just taking it in. From the memorabilia,engines, and the vehicle hanging from the ceiling. This is a very cool atmosphere! Service was great, all of them are dressed in garage work shirts with their name on them. Silverware placement was rolled up in a blue shop rag held together with clamps. So far for originality they are getting an A+, BUT we came here to eat. For an appetizer we ordered the onion rings, which were stacked on a funnel. The server was attentive and had a manager come over to speak with us about the reservation which is always better than conducting business at the hostess' stand. Food at Ford's is pretty standard across the franchises you should get what you expect and they pretty much have it down to a science. The burgers ordered were cooked to our request (medium well). The size and added extras were just right. Most times I ask for a side of mayo but I decided to skip it and try the black and blue burger as it came. It was very good. Let me start by saying that the decor is a lot of fun. The restaurant was packed on a Friday night but you can make reservations, which is a huge plus! We had a reservation at 6:00 and seated about 6:15. Server was great and kept our drinks refilled. I have to admit, our table was 50/50 on the food. We ordered the cheese curds and ahi tuna to start. Cheese curds were nothing special. Tuna was great (unexpectedly). I ordered the chicken Henry and it was great. The sauce was flavorful, smashed potatoes were real, green beans not overcooked. I was very pleased. Two at our table ordered the brisket melt sandwich, which sounded good and was recommended by the server. It had no flavor. Really not special. Salt didn't help. Two ordered the mac and cheese, one with chicken and one with the pork. Both were dry. Not enough cheese sauce and the noodles were dried out. Again, missing flavor. I think we will go back. While neither me or my wife were impressed on our first visit here a couple months ago. Service wasn't the best and we both ordered burgers medium which came out over well done and dry. Giving it another shot I came in the evening alone and sat at the bar. I ordered the fish and chip which is outstanding. The size of this piece of fish is nearly enough for 2-3 people. Met with friends for an early dinner (5:15pm) and we're seated immediately. I love their location in Norwood but can walk to the one In Liberty, and so I was excited when it opened. We had a super waiter (Dominique) who was efficient, attentive, and full of personality. We started with fried pickles which come with a mild wasabi sauce on the side, very good. My friend told me the meatloaf was the best he had eaten and my 3 cycle was outstanding. My meal came with mini corn dogs, ribs, burnt ends brisket and mashed potatoes on the side. A chain restaurant with style, great music, old cars, and good bar food. What more can you ask for? Automotive memorabilia? Check. Restored classic cars? Check. Restroom urinals made of beer cans and automotive parts? check. We were in and out fast, our burgers were great and we only wished we had more time to explore both the menu and the restaurant more. I know this is a chain and in some ways, it reminded me of the early years of chains like Claim Jumper, or Tropical Forrest Cafe. Back when those were still proud of their novelty and leaned fully into it. My wife and I met a friend for dinner at Ford's Garage. It was a busy Friday night, but we were seated quickly, which was nice. I ordered the High Octane Burger and fries. The burger was fantastic--cooked medium-well, just as I asked. The fries, though, felt like an afterthought. My wife really enjoyed her Chicken Cobb Salad, and our friend ordered the Burnt Ends Melt, which he couldn't stop raving about even days later. We went during Happy Hour, so Sam Adams was $2 off, which helped balance out the higher prices. Like most places at Liberty Center, the food was a little more expensive than average. In the evening, they do have a nice drink selection in the bar area is really nice since they have a iced cooler to set your drink on. I didn't request it, but the dressing came on the salad and I normally like it on the side. I didn't think to ask, but it did make the salad a little soggy but otherwise was pretty good.
