I have been thinking and giving some thoughts. At first this school was good I saw my daughter…read morelearning and improving in her development, educational wise. My daughter she's 3 year old she's being assets at the Artesia preschool development center and got her iep. She has been working with harbor regional center. She didn't qualify for the school so instead she's being put on the waiting list at the state preschool. At that time I was looking around to see what's best for her since she needs extra help in everything. She's delayed in a lot of things especially in speech wise. I found Lakewood Montessori had a tour with miss Jazmin at first she's good then she got offended that I texted too much about my daughter concern. She sent pictures to me which I like about my daughter doing. I reply back and said she knows how. :) she keep saying I text to much. Then my daughter kept getting sick so I inform them. Then she complain I text too much and worry too much. (Well no shit she's my child and she got Covid) Then last week she texted my husband because he came to the school with me to pick my daughter up. She then talk shit to my husband and said I need to stop worry and concern. Well of course my daughter has a delay learning and doesn't know how to feed herself and do a lot of things herself. You're a professional teacher but not professional enough to teach kids that need the extra help. She told me use the pictures I sent to see if my daughter knows the name of her friends. Well I did that she don't know the names of her friends. They're very expensive potty training I paid $150 and they're not doing anything at all. The school itself cost around $1100. Plus material fees and pizza party. Omg they even charge for pizza LOLOL I don't think I will be taking my daughter here anymore as you can see. Is already drama miss Jazmin causing drama to my family while my husband is busy working and she act like he cares. At a public school if the parents is concerned about their child education the teachers are more professional when a parent is asking question. This school is not professional enough every time I asked both Ms Jazmin and Ms erash they tell me not to worry and my daughter is fine. I also asked them what she learn today because my daughter is still speech delay. They don't tell me. Save the trouble if you want better education and teacher for your child, especially kids that need more help this school is not it. Parents can't even ask questions they get annoyed. public school abc school district is totally different. Edit: thank you for giving the refund back to us but my review still stands because this school is not specialized enough to kids who needs the special help. They might have over 25 years of experienced but not experienced enough in other criteria. Thank you for teaching my daughter for about one month she did learn a lot until I wanted to see how's she doing everyday. My parents when I was in school, they also asked the teachers how her child was doing. It's normal to ask and concern. And this school does not potty train they will charge $150 but they won't potty trained your kids.

The teachers are all very kind and loving and work with you to address your child's individual needs. Mrs. Luyben and the school leadership anre also excellent at communicating about special days, activities, school needs, and new experiences for the kids. The school offers fun after school activity days at least 2x each month, and they celebrate most holidays in creative ways. I have also been really impressed with the quality of the art projects, playtime, and learning of basic letters, numbers, and shapes. I also want to note that, even though it is a Christian preschool and associated with the LVCC church, and we are non-Christians (but people of faith), I never felt pressure nor excessive Christian messaging. There was always a nice respectful balance of lovely Bible quotes and prayers, while respecting that our family was not Christian. The faith-based preschool is really expressed in their love and honoring of the sacredness of childhood. Which I love! I am grateful that LVCC Preschool was my kids' first experience with school! Definitely worth checking out for anyone looking for a kind, warm, creative, play-based preschool experience for their little!

Sending little ones to school for the first time can be scary for everyone but LVCC Preschool always met my kids (and us parents) where we were at. They quelled any fears, adjusted to any regressions, but most of all - made everything so fun! I will be sad when my littlest has moved on to big kid school but will always think of their preschool years so fondly because of the family at LVCC.

It takes a lot for me to feel comfortable leaving my little one in the care of someone else, but at AEC, they truly care for each child like their own. The teachers and the aides are on top of it, and they greet us and say goodbye with a smile and open arms. The activities are culturally inclusive and are tailored to support the children's development. They offer a full Spanish immersion program, which is perfect to build our little one's language skills. They created a garden this year, and renovated their playground, which is great for the littles. During the summer, they do water play, which is perfect because Lakewood summers get HOT. We love seeing how much the kids love being here! Another thing I really enjoy is how Arc en Ciel fosters parent engagement and ways to stay connected-there's a monthly newsletter, a group chat, events, and an amazing PTA.

What truly sets Arc en Ciel apart is the caring, dedicated staff. The teachers create a warm, nurturing, and inclusive environment where every child feels safe, valued, and encouraged to be themselves. They foster a genuine love of learning through play, exploration, and curiosity, helping children build confidence while developing language skills naturally. As a parent, I also appreciated the remodeled campus and the added peace of mind that comes with the secure, passcode-protected entry and frequent communication on Brightwheel. If you're looking for a preschool that provides a strong foundation for bilingual education while surrounding your child with kindness, encouragement, and exceptional care, I wholeheartedly recommend Arc en Ciel Preschool. I love that they post the lesson plan so you can reinforce the learning at home. There is a lot of communication through the Class Dojo app and postings at school. He also was potty trained fully in 2 months which I was more than happy to pay the extra $25-30 a week for that guidance. They have fun activities like field trips, Christmas recitals, special guests like firemen, dentists, etc. He LOVES his teachers, Ms. Cynthia and Ms. Khalifa and we do too! They really understand each child and their personality nuances. I can share what is happening at home and they help guide and reinforce behavior changes at school. It takes a village to raise a child and I'm so thankful to have Oakwood Academy as part of mine!
