When the daycare closed before reopening as a preschool, it was actually harder than I expected because we had gotten so used to the level of care we received there. So when Arc en Ciel Preschool opened, it was an easy decision to bring my second daughter. My second child was very quiet and shy, and Miss Maribel was her teacher. We absolutely loved her. She was sweet, patient, and genuinely cared about the children. My daughter felt safe and happy in her class, and that meant everything to us. We ended up moving out of town before she graduated from preschool, but even now, years later, I can honestly say we haven't found the same level of care. We received pictures throughout the day, regular updates, newsletters, and always knew what was going on. It never felt like we were just dropping our child off somewhere. We felt involved. One thing I always appreciated about Charlotte is that she was honest. If something was going great, she would tell you. If there was a concern, she would tell you that too. The communication was always open, and I never felt left in the dark. After so many years with Charlotte caring for my children, I know how much she cares about the kids and families in her program. She has high standards, and she truly wants the best for every child there. Any child would be lucky to attend Arc en Ciel. It was a very special place for our family, and if we still lived in the area, we would absolutely still be there.

She got in line with the big kids and followed along like she already went there. Even after touring other schools, she kept saying she wanted to go back to "the first one." It's been a year now, and we're so happy with our choice. She's thriving both academically and socially, and the dual immersion program has been amazing. They have so many activities including: painting, gardening, circle time, trunk or treat, jog a thon, a carnival and so much more. We LOVE Ms. Melanie and Ms. Susana, and Ms. Charlotte is such an attentive and responsive director. There are others including Ms. Maribel and Ms. Drea that aren't our daughter's teachers, but they are kind and sweet. The whole team is awesome which makes it a great place to be. We honestly wish the school went through elementary we'd stay forever!

We found MAWS! I can only speak to our experience and so far, everything is going great! For a 2 year old, he's had some pretty big changes in his life recently. Mama drops him off to daycare and I pick him up. Everyday... He's happy! He's making new friends. He's well taken care of. He loves playtime. And he is a sponge so he is trying to learn everything he can. So far, we are happy!!!

The teachers are all very kind and loving and work with you to address your child's individual needs. Mrs. Luyben and the school leadership anre also excellent at communicating about special days, activities, school needs, and new experiences for the kids. The school offers fun after school activity days at least 2x each month, and they celebrate most holidays in creative ways. I have also been really impressed with the quality of the art projects, playtime, and learning of basic letters, numbers, and shapes. I also want to note that, even though it is a Christian preschool and associated with the LVCC church, and we are non-Christians (but people of faith), I never felt pressure nor excessive Christian messaging. There was always a nice respectful balance of lovely Bible quotes and prayers, while respecting that our family was not Christian. The faith-based preschool is really expressed in their love and honoring of the sacredness of childhood. Which I love! I am grateful that LVCC Preschool was my kids' first experience with school! I love all the arts and crafts the kids brought home and the kids enjoyed going on mini field trips. The class sizes are small so the kids really get to bond with the other children.
