You can cut it yourself or just take pictures and they can cut it and package it for you. They had free hot chocolate,different types of cookies and candy all complimentary. It's a hidden gem. The people are very friendly and helpful AND,the trees are beautiful. We found a Turkish Fir that will be perfect in our home. There is nothing better than a fresh cut Christmas Tree. They last so much longer than tree lot trees that were cut in November. We are very happy that we found Buttonwood Farm Christmas Tree. Cute U-Cut Christmas tree farm! We found a great tree, and there was hot chocolate and candy canes at the checkout area. The team helped us tie the tree to the car, too. Upon arrival, we were given a map of the farm which is organized by tree type. That was great! There was a price list, but only one or two master copies. One improvement would be to put a description of each type of tree along with the price list on the back of the map. Thank you! Our tree looks so lovely in our home!!! read more

This place was excellent for finding a perfect tree! I've never had a live Christmas tree, let alone cut it down myself, before! They had a wide selection of noble firs, Douglas firs, and others that I don't remember the name of. We found our perfect tree within 15 minutes. They also had complimentary cookies and hot cocoa while we were shopping around! The price was pretty fair. We bought an 8 foot Douglas for under $100. I think it was $85. The staff was really nice and helpful! They offered to help chop down the tree and bring it to the check out station, but we decided to do that ourselves. From there, they put a net around our tree and carried it to our car. They also sell tree stands, which is expensive compared to Amazon, but I was happy to support a local farm than to save a few bucks. Plus, I didn't have to wait or drive to another store to get a stand. Overall, great experience! I will definitely consider going back there next year! read more

Great new tree farm! Got a beautiful Turkish Fir. I am a former New Englander and this type of tree reminds me of home! Joey was wonderful to work with. Cut the tree down for us, baled it and helped tie it to the top of the car. All the trees were grown without pesticides, all natural. Highly recommend! read more

We came here due to it having such high reviews, however we were extremely disappointed. The trees have not been well taken care of. They haven't been shaped or topped and would require a significant amount of pruning. Tall grass (3 ft or so) is also growing up through several trees. Considering all of these factors the trees are severely overpriced. This is the worst tree farm my husband and I have ever been to. Picking out a u-cut Christmas tree has been a joyous tradition for both of us in years past. We left without a tree and are on our way to Costco for a pre-cut tree. read more

Ever since Chubby & Tubby went out of business, we have been unable to find a place that sells non-pruned Christmas trees, ie ones that you can actually decorate!! This year, we had a tip off from a friend for the Buttonwood Farm. We couldn't have been more pleased with the selection. And yes, they have trees that actually look like trees, rather than hedge-trimmed, sheared bushes. This means that if you have heavy-ish decorations, the branches will support them, and because each branch has some breathing space underneath, you can actually hang decorations, even tinsel, and could actually put the real candle-holders on the branches. We didn't even look at all the trees, since we saw the general size and shape we wanted right away in the Turkish fir section. The helpers were all fabulous, even cut the tree right there for us, helped us get the tree in the car, etc. And we know the tree is as fresh as it could be. So yes, we will definitely be back next year, and hope that they remain away from the pruning shears for the coming 12 months. (Some people call this a Charlie Brown Christmas tree. But I think this is ridiculous if you've watched the special. Charlie Brown's tree has almost no branches and is bent over. Natural Christmas tree firs have magnificent noble and dramatic architecture, an important reason the Pacific Northwest is soo beautiful, and it is a crime to destroy this shape by pruning off all the tips and forcing the trees to grow at bent unsightly angles) OK sermon over! Seriously, check these guys out. The size we bought was limited only by the size of our living room. Merry Christmas to all Yelpers!! read more

This place was a disappointment! If only you could give zero stars. Currently only selling 7ft and up... The staff was friendly but not helpful... I needed helpful. My son pass two staff members on our way back to get our tree paid for, wrapped on loaded on the car. They didn't even say hello much less ask if we needed help. Paid much more than a Douglas fir should be at a U-cut lot and then had the one nice person help us put it on our car... that was it... In all the years of going to tree lots and u-cut I have never had to tie my own tree down. I spoke with "the person in charge" and she let me know it was due to liability reasons. WOW... so letting a person that has no experience or knot knowledge... trust me you don't want to follow me if I tied my tree onto my car... This is NOT stated on their website... and may be the wave of the future... but I go to a tree lot for service and they officially failed. The one bright spot was the kind worker that helped us tie down the tree... He earned five stars in my book, but that was against the policy of Buttonwood farm. Happily we made it home in one piece tree and all... Not the fun outing I have had in year past. Skip this place it is not worth it and they don't deserve your $$$. read more

Picked up a 6' Turkish Fir today that's got to be the healthiest tree we've ever brought home. The kids had a blast getting lost in the field and throwing snow balls at each other. Service was excellent and prices were very reasonable. We'll certainly go back next year! read more

We absolutely loved our experience with this tree farm. Really great selection of trees in all shapes and sizes! The workers were also very kind and helpful. They have nice young men assist you with cutting down the tree and even put it on your car. They also have hot chocolate and cookies as well, which is great for a little snack after picking the perfect tee. This was an awesome u-cut tree farm. They provided a map with sections marking the different available trees. Because they are organic and don't use pesticides or herbicides there was a minimal amount of mud on the ground. My family enjoyed walking on the carpet of moss. The trees are huge and very full while staying reasonably priced. The only slightly confusing thing was pricing since the trees are not tagged. The staff was quick to resolve any questions we had and eager to help. They're very friendly! Before they netted our tree they leveled the cut at the base of the tree and made it into a custom ornament that we got to take home as a gift. I highly recommend this tree farm. read more
