They've got all different types of pumpkins that you can either pick yourself or just choose off the shelves. There was also a craft fair with holiday crafts. Oh! And a really nice restroom!! Lots of parking too. My only suggestion might be to have a few places to sit down along the long path to the corn maze. I'm recovering from a back injury and that might've been a nice addition. It's early in the season and the pumpkins were fresh on the vine to cut (they provide shears) and all looked in perfect condition. They also have a large variety of carts, wagons and wheelbarrows to borrow and pull into the fields. Prices are vague and not clearly listed; it also didn't help that the staff was confused what to charge me for a white ghost pumpkin I picked from the field. The main barnyard area has a nice aesthetic with a photo op area and tractor kids can sit on. There's also a small goat area too, because you can't go wrong with animals. Other attractions included a corn maze that was a bit further, that we decided to skip. There are small children's areas within the barn including a mini tricycle track, corn pit, hay maze, but they honestly weren't memorable. Overall it's a smaller local pumpkin patch farm for a basic visit, but there's definitely potential to grow.

The maze took at least 30 minutes to complete, and the paths were a little narrow in some places. The dirt can get somewhat dusty so closed toed shoes would be the best option. They also had baby goats, and hot dogs and lemonade for sale. Although refreshing, the lemonade was a little expensive.

We used to be fine with a Chubby & Tubby tree but alas they are now gone. Arrived at 11:30 on Saturday the 8th Of December and found we had company. Ample parking & helpful parking attendants working the lot to direct cars to open spots. Grabbed a saw, map & pricelist from the main area and headed out into a small field. You are to only cut trees with green tags. Saw quite a few without green tags that I would have loved. But found plenty with green tags to choose from. Got ourselves a nice 7ft Noble for $50. Same price as Fred Meyer but fresh as can be. Tip: Bring a tarp or blanket to lay on while cutting your tree & Bring gloves for carrying tree.

I have gotten a Christmas tree here every year for as long as I can remember. The owners are a…read morelocal family and are really nice. They have pre-cut trees here, but the big draw for a lot of people is the u cut lot. It used to be that u cut trees were quite a bit cheaper than precut trees, but now I think the prices are pretty much the same across the board wherever you go. Even though it's no longer a big money saver, I think a lot of people do u cut for the experience as it's fun and not something you can do in all climates/parts of the country. Plus, you get a guaranteed fresh tree. The farm added a reservation system a couple years back for ucuts (it's basically just an evite-type RSVP link on their website--free to sign up) that opens in the middle of November. This has really helped with crowd management as the area's population has grown so much over the years. The whole operation is down to an exact science: traffic controlled parking lot, scan your QR code to get a saw, find your tree, take the tractor flatbed back if you don't want to carry the tree all the way, trim/shake/bail (nominal fee for bailing), an employee will help you carry it to your vehicle if you want, and then pay in the shed. They hire an incredible number of seasonal employees for the couple weeks of tree season to keep things running smoothly. I didn't think of this til a couple years ago, but noticed a lot of people tip the person who helps carry your tree - they're mostly high schoolers so $5 is probably a bigger deal to them than it is to you. The checkout area carries some additional merchandise: tree stands, wreaths, some ornaments, etc. They also have free apple cider and candy canes for the kids (and adults) The farm also has a pumpkin patch and maybe some other activities in the fall. Anyways, this year was probably my last year getting a tree here for a while. My family has aged to a point that a tree no longer really makes sense, and I live somewhere that I have no space for a tree. I'm sad that I won't get to continue this annual tradition in the near future, but hopefully one day I'll be able to make it back

At 2pm there were so few trees available, we walked around in circles, in disbelief. We then considered a precut tree, but they were all huge! Well over 8 feet tall, so they wouldn't fit in our house. There was nothing festive or charming about the place -- just a parking nightmare and we left empty handed. Don't waste your time coming here. So sad.

I sometimes wish they sold more Christmas items to browse, but they do have wreaths and mini trees for $15. Got one for the treehouse! It's adorable. On our way out we saw a family Christmas tailgating (had their hot cocoa, charcuterie and Mom with wine in hand) Love it! Great photo opportunities.

We got our tree early this year since Thanksgiving falls late in the month. There was a steady stream of people but I can't speak to how busy it may be Thanksgiving weekend or after. The trees are gorgeous! So many options and different types to choose from. We got lucky and it didn't rain while we were there. They have saws and knee pads. We struggled to cut ours down and the helpers they have working there had to assist us. They were truly some of the sweetest young people. They were friendly and funny and incredibly helpful. They shake and wrap it for free and while they loaded it in the back of our vehicle, I'm pretty sure they would've helped tie it up if we wanted it on the top. Our tree is almost 8 feet tall and pretty big around. It's thick and honestly looks fake it's so perfect. It was $169 before tax. We tipped and I highly encourage you to do the same. Even if they just shake and wrap it, they are all working hard here. We will definitely be back. It's a convenient location from Seattle and a great experience!

We arrived well before closing and spent a long time looking. We noticed it was getting late and asked the cashier what time they close. They informed us that they let the last cars in at 4 and stay until everyone has a tree. It was well past 4 so we offered to go but were assured that we could stay and that they would wrap the tree and secure it to the roof of my truck, but they the shaker was turned off for the night. We made our final selection and reconfirmed with the cashier that it wasn't too late and that they would wrap and secure out tree. She gave us a saw and we paid and went to cut the tree down. In the time it took to cut the tree down the owners told all the staff to go home. We wheeled the tree to the wrapping station and were rudely told by the owners that they could not help us, that they were closed, and that we should leave. Both owners were extremely rude and confrontational. They made snide and sarcastic comments and the male owner tried to intimidate me into leaving. I told them if I couldn't transport the tree home after it was cut it was no good to me and the female owner began telling me a long story about previous customers who stayed late. As it was becoming heated I tried to explain that their employee had assured us, twice, that we would still be helped and that we offered to leave but were told to stay the owner said, "she is a stupid teenage girl, what do you expect." Eventually, after I demanded a refund (which they refused) they begrudgingly helped me wrap the tree. They then "helped" be jam the tree in the too small bed of my truck breaking several branches. They flatly refused to help me put the tree on my roof rack where it would fit. Even if the trees weren't extremely expensive, which they are, the customer service, intimidation, swearing, down talking of their own employees, and general discomfort of dealing with the owners makes this a place I would NOT recommend.

The park is ADA friendly. The path is dirt and pebbled but can be navigated with a wheelchair. There are bathrooms on site and a small shop. I have never purchased bulbs or plants from here but I know there is a big community around that. The coffee shop in the garden can get busy. But a benefit is we were able to charge my husband's wheelchair there on a visit. While the park is open every day, the coffee shop is not. Definitely this should be a spot for all locals. And not just a one time visit either.

Once the entire family met up, we climbed back into the car and headed to Bellevue. Not sur if it was due to the time. But we were surprised there was a lot of parking available. We spent a good 2-hrs here which included getting lost and finding other street entries into the botanical park from a school and from other busy street corner at the bottom of the park. Nice and shaded, quiet little creeks, plenty of seating for those that were inspired to journal, plenty of elderly people using this time to exercise and stretch. We enjoyed the different areas like the swinging bridge, the Japanese garden and even the little cafe they have there. Fairly priced items and plenty of tables to enjoy a refreshment and snack. By the time we were done, the gift shop was already closed. So I took the opportunity to drop a donation into the box instead.

We visited Bailey Family Farm on the very first day of strawberry picking for the year (Jun 1)…read moreright after lunch. They had their fields filled with their earliest variety, Sweet Sunrise, with tons and tons of gigantic berries ready for harvest. When I say tons, I mean it - each plant was flush with berries, and it barely took us 30 minutes to basically fill up our entire flat. They also had a limited number of Shuksan and Rainier strawberries, and some barely ripe Totems available for U Pick. We ended up picking an entire box with Sweet Sunrise and two smaller pints of Shuksan and Rainier. Sweet Sunrise - These are a deep crimson red both inside and out. They are large (averaging around 33g each), but large doesn't necessarily mean better. In this case, the taste is kind of diluted down by the amount of water inside. The most ripe and soft ones are sweet and fragrant, but the vast majority are somewhat diluted in flavor. Even the sourness is dilute. The berries are mostly soft and tender. These are still really great strawberries, but are more muted in flavor compared to some of the smaller varieties. Shuksan - This is the 2nd time I've eaten Shuksans and the 2nd time I've been a little disappointed. These are medium size berries, coming in at around 15.5g each. They are extremely sour, making me pucker with every bite. They are also quite a bit firmer than the other two strawberries, even the darker crimson ones. Quite possibly it's too early in the season for these. I'll have to come back later to try more. These have the most lumps and mutant individuals with tons of multiple fused berries. Rainier - This is probably my 2nd favorite variety of strawberry after Hoods (last year, I ate half a flat every week when these were available). It's really early in the season, so there weren't too many available for us to pick. The ones that we were able to locate fill the mouth with a delightful, strong and potent strawberry fragrance. Unfortunately most are quite a bit on the sour side - the ones in the coming weeks will probably be more sweet. Size is by far the smallest, coming in at around 12g per. The berries are really soft and teeth slice through them like warm butter. They are more acidic and are the only strawberry variety to cause me some stomach issues. We visited again the following Monday and the plants were noticeably skimpier. The leftover Sweet Sunrise were only a third the size of previous, and mostly not as ripe. There were more ripe Shuksans, Totems, Rainiers, and even some Tillamooks, Puget Crimsons, and Mary's Peaks ready. Just some quick notes for these: Tillamook - 24.4g avg, 6.2 brix, varying shape, awful variety, even the super red ones are ridiculously sour. Even beyond the sour, they taste awful. The juice is sour, bitter, nasty, the worst. Puget Crimson - 35.8g avg, 8.2 brix, caps really easily, didn't pick a single strawberry where the cap stayed on. Very conical in shape. Really dark red color. Stronger flavor than tillamook and more sweet, but still quite sour. Expected more flavor for being so dark red. Juice is dark in color, no particular distinguishing characteristics. Mary's Peak - 18.8g avg, 8.4 brix, leaves stay attached, some even have stems. Mostly conical in shape but some wider. Really noticeable seeds, can feel them protruding out of the skin. Very pronounced sweeter but mild flavor, some grassy notes. Juice has some candy element like pixie sticks but more sour. Really love the juice. Sweet Sunrise - 17.2g avg, 7.3 brix, half the size of the ones picked the previous week and not nearly as good. Not as ripe I guess so they don't cap nearly as easily. Deep red color, but more sour than sweet. Shuksan - 17.6g avg, 8 brix, Lumpy strawberries, lots of them fused together into big half moon shapes. Great flavor complexity, nasal, strong strawberry flavor, a little perfumey. More stem quality in the flavor, vegetal not bitter, probably because the pith/stem area stays attached more. Juice normal and bright. I liked these way more than the previous week. Rainier - 12.2g avg, 9.5 brix, most of the ripe ones have holes in them from birds and slugs. Aromatic, sweet but sour. Super perfumey elements. Best in flavor. Juice astringent surprisingly not as sweet as the brix would imply, more acidic instead. I like eating the whole berry more than juiced. Thanks to Bailey Farm having so many varieties, this kind of turned into a little science experiment. What else can I say other than that I will definitely be back next year for more strawberries. As a side note: I really wish farms grew Hood strawberries around here. Maybe we just don't have the right climate and soil for that variety? Those are my favorite by far, with the most sweetness (one batch I measured this year when down in Portland was 16 brix!) and best flavor complexity.

On the day of our visit they had U pick green beans and pickling cucumbers. My friend spent so much money on pickling cucumbers (I guess they are all water and very heavy), but I had a nice time picking enough green beans for the next nights dinner for a reasonable price. They also had already picked corn that you could take home for about 75 cents each. Both tasted delicious when cooked up the following day, my friend is making pickles so that will take some time. Next up is squash, closer to the end of October, I'm tempted to return to pick some spaghetti squash, they will also have acorn and pumpkins. Currently they have 4 sunflower mazes, we were in a bit of a hurry so we only did one, but it was a really nice photo opp and a good excuse to add in some more steps. On the day we visited there was a sale for 5$, but the price is normally 10$ for all 4, very reasonable. The maze we choose, since we didn't go to the website like we were encouraged to do, was just an out and back, but the other 3 might be more maze like. This was my first time in a sunflower field and very fun on a warm, sunny day. I did not realize there would be so many bees, but they left us alone. I hope to make it back here some day soon.

The process is that you get a box that they provide, go toward the field where another person will assign where you can pick and then you just start picking. Super easy. Once you finish, you bring it back, they weigh your strawberries and you pay. Another bonus is that they accept credit cards! I had a pretty fun time here. The strawberries are sweet and fresh and it was super yummy. I definitely would recommend coming here.

Just got our Christmas tree from Snow Valley for the 4th year. A really good looking, super healthy Noble. We've always enjoyed going there and wandering the rows to find *the* tree, and we have yet to be disappointed. There's always the option to borrow one of their saws (yes, you can't bring, let alone use, your own saw, chain or otherwise), cut down your own tree, and haul it back up to your car, but we choose to go find the tree, then go get one of the always friendly and cheerful elves, I mean, young men (family, I think) helping out to come cut it down, trim it, drive it back up front, wrap it up, and tie it on top of our van (we do help with last bit :). On top of all that, we always have a nice chat with the owner and his wife (neither of whom is old or elderly, btw) about their year and how things are going this year. Oh, and their prices are *way* better than any cut tree lot I've ever been to. read more

Wow, do they have trees! We were there late afternoon on 12/3 after trying a few other farms with no luck. This place isn't Disneyland, it's a tree farm with an old barn that's been turned into a gift shop, long grass, trumpeter swans flying over & mud (so bring your boots). They are obviously a work in progress. Lora, the owner, says this was there 6th year and this was there busiest day ever. They have saws to checkout or they will cut it for you, haul it up on an ATV and shaking and baling for my 7' Nordman fir was free. They helped us haul it to our car and offered to help tie it down. Free hot cocoa or cider & an espresso trailer with killer mini donuts called (reindeer dropping). They even have Mini donkeys to pet. read more

Great family run Christmas tree farm. This is our third year visiting them and enjoy their helpful, low stress business model. The big hit this year (besides the tree of course) was the fresh donuts fried on site. The other nice benefit is it's close proximity to Kirkland as well as the town of Duvall for coffee and site-seeing. Until my wife let's me buy an artificial tree, we'll continue to come back every year. Glen read more

Each and every time ive been here ive needed to hold up more than 10 minutes in the drive-through and more often than not they wind up stopping me. The new staff is never prepared so they dont realize what they are doing. They wind up overlooking something from a basic 3 thing request. Absurd. Avoid this one and the overly long queue at the other one in Redmond for one in Monroe or somewhere else. read more

We got our tree early this year since Thanksgiving falls late in the month. There was a steady stream of people but I can't speak to how busy it may be Thanksgiving weekend or after. The trees are gorgeous! So many options and different types to choose from. We got lucky and it didn't rain while we were there. They have saws and knee pads. We struggled to cut ours down and the helpers they have working there had to assist us. They were truly some of the sweetest young people. They were friendly and funny and incredibly helpful. They shake and wrap it for free and while they loaded it in the back of our vehicle, I'm pretty sure they would've helped tie it up if we wanted it on the top. Our tree is almost 8 feet tall and pretty big around. It's thick and honestly looks fake it's so perfect. It was $169 before tax. We tipped and I highly encourage you to do the same. Even if they just shake and wrap it, they are all working hard here. We will definitely be back. It's a convenient location from Seattle and a great experience!

We arrived well before closing and spent a long time looking. We noticed it was getting late and asked the cashier what time they close. They informed us that they let the last cars in at 4 and stay until everyone has a tree. It was well past 4 so we offered to go but were assured that we could stay and that they would wrap the tree and secure it to the roof of my truck, but they the shaker was turned off for the night. We made our final selection and reconfirmed with the cashier that it wasn't too late and that they would wrap and secure out tree. She gave us a saw and we paid and went to cut the tree down. In the time it took to cut the tree down the owners told all the staff to go home. We wheeled the tree to the wrapping station and were rudely told by the owners that they could not help us, that they were closed, and that we should leave. Both owners were extremely rude and confrontational. They made snide and sarcastic comments and the male owner tried to intimidate me into leaving. I told them if I couldn't transport the tree home after it was cut it was no good to me and the female owner began telling me a long story about previous customers who stayed late. As it was becoming heated I tried to explain that their employee had assured us, twice, that we would still be helped and that we offered to leave but were told to stay the owner said, "she is a stupid teenage girl, what do you expect." Eventually, after I demanded a refund (which they refused) they begrudgingly helped me wrap the tree. They then "helped" be jam the tree in the too small bed of my truck breaking several branches. They flatly refused to help me put the tree on my roof rack where it would fit. Even if the trees weren't extremely expensive, which they are, the customer service, intimidation, swearing, down talking of their own employees, and general discomfort of dealing with the owners makes this a place I would NOT recommend.

Definitely more low-key than some of the other bigger operations but so perfect for our family. There were goats, they were pumpkins, and there was a little mini pumpkin maze, which was just there . The vibe was exactly what we needed. We went on a rainy day, but managed to find a two hour window with a little bit of sunshine. Couldn't have been better! They've got all different types of pumpkins that you can either pick yourself or just choose off the shelves. There was also a craft fair with holiday crafts. Oh! And a really nice restroom!! Lots of parking too. My only suggestion might be to have a few places to sit down along the long path to the corn maze. I'm recovering from a back injury and that might've been a nice addition. It's early in the season and the pumpkins were fresh on the vine to cut (they provide shears) and all looked in perfect condition. They also have a large variety of carts, wagons and wheelbarrows to borrow and pull into the fields. Prices are vague and not clearly listed; it also didn't help that the staff was confused what to charge me for a white ghost pumpkin I picked from the field. The main barnyard area has a nice aesthetic with a photo op area and tractor kids can sit on. There's also a small goat area too, because you can't go wrong with animals. Other attractions included a corn maze that was a bit further, that we decided to skip. There are small children's areas within the barn including a mini tricycle track, corn pit, hay maze, but they honestly weren't memorable. Overall it's a smaller local pumpkin patch farm for a basic visit, but there's definitely potential to grow.

There's lots of parking after you drive down the gravel road, and we were directed to a spot by attendants. They were very nice and helped us return our cart at the end. I immediately loved the adorable decorations, the colorful wheelbarrows, the pumpkin displays, and all the family activities. They had campfire sites sprinkled throughout the central area where you could buy smores supplies and make a smore after pumpkin hunting. They had a few snacks and a hot and cold cider available. Tickets to the corn maze were available at the purchase desk, and there were also lots of great photo stands around in case you felt like being a pumpkin-head. It was very well thought out as far as it being a one-stop family autumn fun festival. They had two large patches with multiple varieties of pumpkin types with varying ranges in size, color, and shape. As is customary for me, I found the wartiest, ugliest one for myself, and the husband of mine found the biggest and most pristine. If you didn't want to cut your own, they have many displays you can sample from. Prices were displayed based on relative size, which I like way more than the trouble of weighing. Overall, it was a fun holiday experience.

We started at Snoqualmie Falls, had brunch at Salish and then headed over at 10am to Snofalls Lavender to do U-pick lavender. The field is small but really pretty. They had 3 types of lavender. The kind for arrangements, English lavender for cooking and white lavender for tea. Price was $5 per person which get you 50 stalks per person. So for my husband and I, she told us we could pick 100 stems. She also provided us with a basket and scissors. Highly recommend bringing a hat, sunscreen, water, and camera ( for photos!) We went around 10am and it got pretty sunny and warm in the field. Also, I didn't realize how many bees there would be out there, if you don't bother them, they won't bother you :) Overall, it was a really cute little spot. I wish they had some of their products out for sale but otherwise, my husband and I had a great time.

Everyone was wearing masks and was socially distanced. Some people took off their mask to take pictures. I would recommend bringing your own scissors to avoid sharing. Would def come back!

The veggies themselves are super fresh and it's a great variety. We've definitely had more variety when we were in CA since it's bigger farms but we still walked away with chard, Tokyo Bekana, 2 types of lettuce, delicious beets, herbs and more. Super happy to have access to the fresh veggies for the remainder of the season and having it be an interactive family outing and learning for our 2.5yo daughter. Stephanie and Claire are amazing and have such great customer service. Due to the heatwave we brought our fruit from the Redmond market in and in our rush, we forgot it there and by the time we got back, someone took it on accident. Stephanie called all the members with fruit pickups to see who mistakenly took it. To our surprise they found the person the day later and we're getting our fruit! (Was super sad since I couldn't find cherries and stone fruit of the same caliber at PCC yesterday).

There was shaded seating, a few vendors (2 matcha/drink vendors near their flower shop, in the lavender fields - book vendor, honey, lavender gifts, vases/art, and a few other options to browse. We opted to do u-pick lavender and they had cute baskets with shears to borrow. Bundles were reasonably priced and you can also buy more lavender goods at their store. My daughter and her husband hosted my wife, her mom, and me over the long Fourth of July weekend, and we all went to the lavender farm on a Saturday afternoon. Parking is free on sides of a private gravel road, with a clearly marked entrance. Admission is $9 per adult, being purchasable at the gate, using a credit card. Leashed dogs are welcomed, and there is a grassy area in center where one can find shaded places to sit or play games under a tent, or play cornhole nearby. There is also a nearby field with wildflowers in various times of bloom. It was a clear day, allowing us to see impressive Mt Rainier in the background. There is a small gift shop on the premises, where a nice lady explained much about the farm. We ended up buying both lavender infused essential oils and roll-ons. External info: There seems to be five different types of lavender: English (aka Common or True), French (aka Fringed), Portuguese (aka Spike), Spanish (aka Butterfly), and Lavandin (hybrid of English and Portuguese). Within each type, there are cultivars (specific variation bred for specific traits like color and scent). We saw areas of both the Royal Velvet and Melissa, both cultivars of English lavender. We also saw Grosso, a specific cultivar of Lavandin lavender, which is the most popular for commercial use, reading its the most common lavender at the farm.

If you haven't picked up a Xmas tree yet, stop by this tree farm and support your local community…read more I came here last Sunday and was informed all trees are precut (not sure why as you can generally cut your own tree). Nonetheless, it's a fantastic place to bring your family and kids to roam around the tree farm, take some pics (beautiful backdrop of Mt Si) or enjoy a cup of hot apple cider by the bonfire. I had a great experience here. The folks are friendly and helpful. I picked out a tree, they helped me carry it to the tree shaker, wrapped it up and carried it to my car. They also offered to load it to my car which was very nice of them.
