DO NOT USE THIS "COMPANY"!!! Like other reviews have mentioned, this guy (Sergio) is a SCAMMER. I initially came across this company via a Google review which in hindsight was clearly doctored. Sergio has the gift of gab and will ramble on about supposed animal habits for whatever you're dealing with...enough to make you think he knows what he's doing or until you absolutely have to excuse yourself as to not waste more time. Ultimately, he's not scared of dealing with rodents/pests, but any sort of follow up work to prevent pests from returning will be shabby, that is if you're able to get him to return. I spent three months hearing excuses (ex. car problems, family problems, other clients, etc.) before he finished "reinforcing" my roof so that raccoons would not reenter. Reckless and negligent Apart from terrible communication and excuses, the guy who came out to remove squirrels and mice from our attic left about 20 long sharp metal objects on our roof when he couldn't finish a job. One of the objects fell off, almost hitting someone. He shrugged when I showed him. He then left a packet of rodent poison out in our PLAYROOM and my 1 year old baby got ahold of it! Thank GOD my baby didn't eat it and is fine, but it is horrifying what could have been had we not grabbed it from her immediately. I wouldn't trust these guys for anything. RUN. Avoid these scammers with Buzz Away at all costs. I contacted them in March after hearing a scratching noise in my walls. Sergio arrived within a few hours and told me it might be squirrels. Initially, I appreciated his friendly demeanor and sense of urgency (that's how they get you). After inspecting my attic, which is not the area where I heard the noises, he also told me there was evidence of mice. He supplied a solution and said if I could get the money to him by the end of the day, he could begin the work. After paying him almost $2,000, he started SOME work and laid bait for the mice over three visits. I was told that a tunneling system was installed and he'd be back in a week or two to do another inspection and remove it. I spent THREE months trying to get a hold of him to return. I'd schedule times for him to come and he wouldn't show. I heard every excuse under the sun - my phone fell off a roof, I don't have a babysitter, I have no gas, I ran long with someone else, family emergency, etc. I'm empathetic to a point, but after months of excuses, I felt like I was being taken advantage of. I gave it one final try in June, after he told me I was "the priority." I asked for proof of the tunneling system and the work that was (allegedly) completed in March. All of a sudden, he couldn't track down any records despite telling me multiple times that he had photos. I absolutely believe I was scammed. The next appt never happened, they never called or texted to advise they couldn't make any of the appts set. We as the customer had to call and inquire about the missed appointments. They started the job, leaving tools and trash all around our house and yard (all within reach of our young children), and kept claiming they would come back to finish the job and clean up. They continually gave excuse after excuse - truck broke down, injured on the job, emergency at another job, etc., and convinced my husband to pay him the remainder of the balance because he needed money for formula for his daughter. Initially I was very happy as I thought they had helped me eliminate my bat issue. After three weeks I started to noticed droppings again where the bats were supposedly addressed. I called AJ and left a voicemail. No response. Numerous months later I attempted again and received AJ's voicemail, no response. A guarantee is only good as the company that backs it up. Obviously from the lack of any response or contact from Buzz Away tells me that I unfortunately chose the wrong company to do business with. I would recommend you think twice before using this company as they do NOT HONOR THEIR WORD much less their guarantee. I am also contacting the BBB to file a complaint there as the guarantee was the deciding factor for me when I chose Buzz Away. People need to know when they are dealing with unresponsive contractors and especially when they are incapable of delivering the service I purchased. I paid $1200 for squirrel removal services and was sold services that included a temporary tunnel to my attic to get squirrels out and told they'd be back 5-7 days later to install a permanent door to block the entrance. I have followed up NUMEROUS times for them to come back out to complete the job with excuses like "The truck is broken", "My phone broke because it fell off a roof". I was told more than once "We will be there tomorrow/end of week/end of next week" to finish the job as of today NOTHING. They also require you to pay cash or check, so I now have ZERO recourse to dispute the charges for services not completed. read more

Buzz away wildlife is 100% who you need to call if you need help removing/exterminating in the charlotte area. I called them for help removing a dead animal in our impossibly tiny crawl space under our house. They sent some one out right away and got straight to work. Sergio was so friendly and professional. He managed to get under the house, located, and disposed of the carcass. So grateful and would recommend buzz away wildlife in a second to anyone with a similar issue! read more

I do not recommend using this company. I'm not sure where all the positive reviews are coming from. They do not follow-up after they have your money. I had to call them to schedule a follow up appointment for the work. They always said they had me on the schedule and did not show up for the appointment. No call text or anything just a total lack of respect for your time. They also refuse to take accountability for their poor customer service. Moreover, they did not solve the pest issue. It took two months for them to finally make it back to my property to removal their tunnel and place additional bait in my attic. They did a terrible job reattaching my gutters. I let them know need I wasn't pleased and that they needed to fix it properly. I came home today and they actually returned to fix it while I wasn't home and failed again to install it the way they found it. I could go on and on with my frustrations with this company. I totally recommend Buzz Away. Used them last year to get rid of squirrels and mice in my attic as well as birds that had made a vent their home. They secured all entry points and made it impossible for anything to get in. I haven't had an issue since then! Worth every penny. read more
