Staff, literally the staff. The prices are pretty damn high, just like every other dispensary, which is ridiculous. If I ever have the money, I'll make an affordable dispensary for people. I go there because I've had several stomach surgeries and was dying for six years. The bummer is the only thing that helps me that they sell, they are either out of it a lot or it's too expensive and I can't afford to keep up with it. I really like this dispensary the prices seem fair, selection pretty good (they don't ever seem stocked with the nicer cannabis), and the staff is super friendly and helpful. My issue is entirely with the point system. I have spent a lot of money at this place and I like that I get rewarded with points I can put towards purchases. However I buy a lot at a time and don't need to come back every month. Today I went to buy some flower and when I went to use my points I had been told they are now set to 0 because I hadn't bought anything in 60 days. This is a predatory practice and is not fair. I earned the points by spending hundreds of dollars at this place but now they are null and void because of some arbitrary deadline. No email or text notifying me that my points are expiring. I'm fairly certain I had close to $80 to redeem. It's honestly a really shady practice for a store I really respected and I feel betrayed by a business I loved. read more

tldr: Retailer knowingly continued to sell products they acknowledged were likely defective. Spent the better part of 2 hours dealing with faulty products coming from this store. One exchange, and two subsequent returns. This is frustrating and an inconvenience, sure, but defective products happen, and they're ultimately not my issue with this store. At one point during the exchange/return process, I was told, "ya, we've been having problems with these." 8/8 tested cartridges were all defective. The conversation continued, and the cashier/manager told me they had previously advised the store to take off the whole line, yet upper management didn't remove any, let alone the one strain they admitted to having multiple issues with. I don't think they realized in that moment how their brief bit of overt honesty exposed the store's complete lack of integrity in a few sentences. Multiple returns and a product line that they suspected to be unfit for use, previously recommended for removal. Still fit for sale, though, regrettably. This is the difference between being an honest and decent retailer, or not. Not the polished floors or brass fixtures, superficially masquerading as a surrogate for ethical business practices. These types of "small" decisions are made every day by producers, distributors, and retailers. Do what's ethical? ...or just pass the problem onto someone else, this time being the end customers? It's the seemingly inconsequential choices made during this process that define you as a business. And they made the wrong one(s). That choice, and the others presumably being made like it, are who they are and what they stand for. So much so, that they casually admitted to it like it was no big deal, just standard operating procedure. That's not right. I'm not ok with giving my business to a company that runs their store(s) like that. At least pretend like you give a f*** about your customers, you know? Unfortunately, as well, the manager seemed excessively bothered with having to deal with this situation over multiple transactions as I had to figure out their replacements were also faulty across several purchases. They gave me a sample .5g cartridge to accommodate for the inconvenience. I won't be back, and not because of defective products, which are an understandable part of the CPG business and of products utilizing electronic components. I just don't want to support retailers that knowingly make unethical inventory choices that adversely affect customers, no matter how small they are or how infrequently they claim to occur. If multiple store trips, hours of time, bad attitude from management, and playing a game of chance with your purchases is worth it to potentially get hooked up with a sample cartridge, by all means. As for the store itself (clean and organized), the security, front desk, and sales people have been nothing but kind and professional, this review isn't a slight to them. One additional point--oddly, Buzz also doesn't seem to include pricing directly on products, which is a bit ridiculous to me. Mystery pricing comes off as being both disingenuous and lazy. I go there knowing exactly what I want, but for everyone else to have to check the website while shopping to know what they're spending negates whatever benefits Buzz is trying to curate through their retail experience. The FTP 50% discount and 30% off happy hours are why I came here and why you should too for the value proposition, while it lasts. Hopefully the products you choose aren't knowingly defective while still remaining for sale. Be on the lookout too for finding another retail solution when the deals end. At that point, if you're willing to pay 10-20+% more for the same items found at more traditional dispensaries to accommodate the "luxury experience" surcharge, there are plenty of comparable nearby options to consider. read more

As a trans person this is not the environment you want to to go especially if you haven't changed your name legally yet. I understand you have to have my legal information at the beginning as a new guest. Once I'm a patron and have gone there I still continually get deadnamed and even made to say my dead name out loud. No other dispensary has done this anywhere in California that I've been. This speaks to a culture problem. It's clearly not discouraged and there's no sensitivity to the matter. Hi! I am a 65 year old woman. I've been getting high for years. I tried the syringe THC, but it left my mouth coated for hours. Then I decided to try a bong again. It was good but my lungs hated it. This place is great don't get me wrong. I've been here multiple times and never had an issue until my last. I was helping my friend as it was her first time here and... well I highly recommend it. We walked a bit back and forth deciding on things and spent a solid hour looking til we decided to check out. All was good until we headed for the exit. Not one. Not two. But almost 4 security guards completely blocked us inside because they had accused me of stealing. Confused and annoyed. I understood where they came from and didn't fight. I wasn't upset at first until the main officer started being an asshole. I told him my pockets were empty and he laughed, telling me he "knows what he saw." I was baffled. He continued to shrug off any sort of explanation I wanted to give him and decided to check my friend as well. He was not friendly and made us extremely uncomfortable. Did you really need 3-4 people to stop TWO woman? I offered everything I had on me to them. My bag, my hoodie. I lifted up my shirt and he was still convinced and did NOT let me fucking speak. After I've had enough I asked them what else they wanted me to do. They looked just as confused because they KNOW they were wrong. Pathetic. I was offered... free pre-rolls for the inconvenience and a sorry... Oh but only once he confirmed through CCTV that I wasn't a thief!! . I understand how a business works. Been here several times and this is why I'm writing this review. They advertise closing at 9 but they actually mean 8:50 when we show up and then plainly ignoring customers outside. I guess they don't honor much of those business practices since they say one thing and do another. Security wouldn't let anyone in but I guess the business is missing out on extra potential income but it's ok because as long as the security guard gets his paycheck what does he care about the time they close.
