This place is awesome all around, and I always purchase my Geek Bars from here! - The staff is always friendly & welcoming - Tidy and clean shop - Very good prices and selections on vapes - Light and positive energy & vibes It's also a very convenient location - it's next to a yummy pizza spot if you're hungry, and a 7/11 is close by, in case you're in the need of a last minute purchase (a.k.a. Celsius for me lol!) - basically, I don't have to go out of my way and drive to a different store upon purchasing my vape - the shop is conveniently located in a plaza that has everything. They're also open fairly late, which works perfectly for me, since often times I am stuck completing projects/deadlines for work and I get too busy to stop by during more normal hours. I've only been here a handful on times but every time I go the staff is super friendly. They don't make you feel like an outsider or judge the items that you're buying. I've definitely gone to shops where they question everything you're buying or make you feel super sus as if you're doing something wrong. I bought a rubber neon glow in the dark Waxmade nectar collector for $20.00 bucks. What a Stoners delight, a must have dabbing tool with a bonus 2 in 1 as it is also a pipe with a built in screen. Thanks to Michael with his patients and excellent customer service as I did not even know what this product was actually called, I described it and he knew right away what I was talking about and took me to the product. I don't understand some of the negative reviews. I have dealt with Allen the store manager/owner and his brother Michael a number of times. They are friends. I can go in and kick it with them and shoot the shit. Don't know if I'm supposed to say, but they have even offered me deals and discounts... on every visit. Usually it is something like tax included in the price but they have thrown me bigger bones when I have gone in looking for a new piece or something nice. read more

There prices on their Starbuzz products are pretty legit. Homeboy who works at night was super helpful to get me started off on the right path with the in's n out's of my hookah sessions. Pretty neat shop....esp if your going for hookah stuff. I have yet to see a better selection of Starbuzz anywhere else. read more

This is the most unprofessional smoke shop I have been to , they sell old pens to customers and if they don't work they don't exchange it and "it's not their problem" . This happened to me multiple times . Then you can't get upset at all otherwise they will refuse to sell you anything at all and continue to argue with you that it's not their problem they sold u a faulty product . They need to shut down because it's not fair if you spend your last money on something that doesn't even work . That doesn't sound legal to me . I can't understand how this place has any bad reviews. This smoke shop is one of the best in SJ in my opinion. The employees are extremely helpful and nice. They're patient and don't try to scam you like some other smoke shops in the area. If you're a regular, they also tend to give you discounts here and then which is awesome. read more

Used to be run-down but now it's alright. The guy that works the register is knowledgeable but not helpful. Wants to sell you something right quick and then get back to his seat in the back of the store. Prices for starbuzz and fumari is average and they have a pretty good selection. read more

I dont know why this place has such a low rating. I have been here twice and both times were pleasant experiences. The main guy that works there hooks me up with a deal every time i go in. Sure they may not have the super nice expensive stuff, but their prices on the pieces they do carry are extremely competitive with any other spot in SJ. One of the pieces I bought had a tiny crack on the bowl, and the owner gave me another bowl for free, and let me keep the original, which still works perfectly. I would give 0 stars but cannot. I've been in to this spot 2x's and same guy. He's rude and doesn't seem to want to be bothered by customers. If you ask him a question or his option on product, he will not help. First time, I wanted a second opinion on a piece & he told me to go smoke a bowl & come back. Second time, I was looking for a specific kind of attachment, he wouldn't answer any of my questions & told me to bring in my piece, that he would sell one to me without it. I tried to ask questions about the attachment since he would sell it to me w/o my piece & he wouldn't answer, shut me down every time, just being rude. I feel this place only deserves one star. Went in to buy a dab rig for the first time and Joe who was very nice and seemed to know what he was talking about hooked us up with a nice $75 rig. After, we added a titanium nail and he said putting it directly on there assuring us it would be fine. After dropping $135 in dabbing equipment we went back home and tired it. After 2 dabs the rig blew up in my friends face do to the fact that the titanium expanded after we were told it be fine. We went back the next day and the man working was rude and didn't give any lee way despite the fact his employee told us the wrong information. Shitty place don't go. read more

I've been coming to this smoke shop for a while now because it's close to my house and it's convenient for things like blunt wraps or torches but I probably won't be back. In their defense I came in the 10 minutes before closing but the doors were locked and the employee seemed to be hiding from me (super awk) not that this is a great smoke shop anyway but I think it's pretty lame to advertise to your customers that you're open until a certain time and then screw over people who try to come to your store. all I needed was butane so I was just gonna be in and out but now I'm just out of luck. read more

Went into Buzz Smoke Shop to buy a new rig and was greeted by Joe who was super friendly and quite helpful. Unfortunately we were mislead that a certain rig we purchased would work perfectly fine with all the pieces included. Joe was very nice and really hooked us up with the piece but upon arriving home, and not even successfully able to use the rig, it blew up right in my face. Being super disappointed, we went back in the next day to tell them what had happened. We were greeted by a different worker and showed him the piece and told him what had happened. The man working went on to explain that the setup we had is something that should never go together for those exact reasons. He told us that there's nothing he could do, no refund no exchanges. Utterly ridiculous since they were the ones who sold us stuff knowing they shouldn't go together. Overall extremely disappointed and will not be returning for any reason. read more

My friend and I went into this shop looking for a new stem for my hookah. I recently bought one from a shop on San Carlos and had a terrible experience. The salesperson was not helpful and didn't seem to care about my needs as a customer. The hookah was very small and I paid way too much for it (after doing comparative market research). When I brought it home, I realized it didn't even have a stem and I needed to go back to get one! Not wanting to waste my time or give them more business, I tried a different smoke shop. Joe was the gentleman behind the counter when I arrive at this shop. He was very kind and helpful, and offered discounted merchandise to make up for my poor experience at the previous shop I visited that he had NO affiliation with. His kindness and helpful nature paid off, and I purchased a better hookah (that was less expensive) from him and will continue to purchase from him in the future! I'm the Internet Sales Manager at Audi Stevens Creek, and one major key to being successful in sales is caring about your customer's needs so you can establish a long lasting relationship with them. Now that I have moved about 4 miles away I still pass Monsters of Rock and a bunch of other smoke shops just to come here. The owner is super friendly and always is helpful. I have gone to this shop a few times to buy vape juice. I tried a new brand last night. When I pit it in my bag the whole bottle spilled out. I checked the seal and realized it did not hold a seal. After spending an hour cleaning everything off, and having a now fruit loop oily bag I went back to the store. When I explained what happened to him he said " well you shouldn't have let it fall on its side..no refunds" really it was like $15. I didnt care about the cost. I just felt cheated from a defective product. I WILL NOT GO THERE AGAIN. read more
