I may be an oddball, or a deadhead... however this store single handedly has helped me save my college career! Went in to pick up Kratom, my usual for last 10 years to help with associated joint pain from years for jiujitsu. My Smoke Shop has the biggest selection of Kratom and Mo is quite knowledgeable in the science. Having a science background in physiology and metabolism, I gave him my thoughts about Kratom and how he should closely monitor the quality of some of the brands he's distributing. I bought a novo x vape 4 weeks ago and it broke on me. I came into the shop and he said he would replace it, but then said it was up to novo to replace it. Like wtf? It's quite nice and VERY refreshing to have customer service like they do. On many different occasions, I've had to spend sometimes up to 10-15 mins and good ol' Peter or Moe will always take the time with me and make sure I'm satisfied with my purchase. What REALLY left a good impression with me was just tonight, I called about 8 minutes until closing ( 11p ) and Moe answered and I asked him if I showed up 5 mins after closing would he help me ? ( mind you, I wasn't expecting much as I totally understand that closing time, is closing time. His obligations are until 11p so he can close and get home to relax ) Well, good ol' Moe told me, " no worries my friend, I'll wait for you ". I even called him when I was 5 minutes away and he kindly told me to " take my time don't worry about it as I'll wait for you ". If that isn't awesome customer service, than I don't know what is !! I usually come here for n2o. The prices are pretty good and they also have cigarettes for really cheap. Their pipes and smoke stuff aren't too expensive and this is where I would go if I needed that stuff. Overall I like coming here better than "Smoke Shop" in San Jose because I like the guys that run it.. they are very friendly and it's really close to work so I can just come here on my lunch break. If you came here for tattoos and piercings I feel bad that you couldn't find an actual place that specializes in tattoos and piercings. read more

It's a cool shop with cool junk everywhere. I don't smoke but they have cool colorful bongs. The staff is always so friendly. I got my nose pierced here. It hurt like a muther. It hurt more than my first 2 tattoos, but whatever, it was cute. The diamond piercing they gave me was way too small though and when I slept, it kept slipping through my nose and I'd lose it on my bed somewhere! So I went back and got a bigger one. I'm happy with their nose rings and they're only $12. You can get it for cheaper at like Claire's if you'd like but I'd rather get it here. Anyway, overall ok experience and they are nice. I'm not sure if I would recommend getting piercing here based on other reviewers but mine turned out fine and I still like it to this day 7 years later. My mom actually liked it too =) read more

I bought my beautiful new hookah here and I loves it. It's pink. The guy helping me was helpful. :) He even threw in a free box of watermelon tobacco cuz I had my eyes on it. I've also bought rolling tobacco, glass pipes, rolling papers, and blunt papers here in the past and its all legit. They sell bob marley papers for when you want to roll a true fattty like a big boy. The staff was helpful, and the selection was wide, ranging from the typical assortment, to gorgeous, hand-blown pipes and stems. Disclaimer: I've never smoked, so I am reviewing this head shop based on the experiences of my friends and co-workers. This is similar to how as a vegan I review a steakhouse based on the opinions of my dining companions. I work in the same plaza as My Smoke Shop so I frequent there quite often. I've purchased a handful of grinders water pipes and pipes and a ton of shisha. I've also recommended this location to several people where they have also purchased similar pieces. I had no problem with this shop until I broke my cheap water pipe ($40) I purchased from them and decided to buy the same water pipe. I took the water pipe home and used it and found that the percolator was not functioning correctly at all and the water was completely draining out of it. This made it harsh to smoke out of it and unlike straight water pipes where the smoke slowly creeps up the pipe, this holds all the smoke at the base until the bowl is removed which without the functioning percolator makes the entire hit harsh. I went back to talk to the guy to see if anything can be done. I would've gladly cleaned it and returned it for an exchange for a working one or maybe even some sort of credit towards another piece. I explained the situation and he didn't even bother to consider anything at all and just walked away from me. read more

From the outside, this shop looks extremely small but when walking in, it's bigger than what it seems. Located in a small shopping center with a lot of Middle Eastern run businesses, this place is also run by Middle Easterns. The store is basically split into two sections: the front having tobacco, shirts, posters, and tattoo/piercing stations. Out of the two sections, this is the larger of the two and it takes up about 2/3's of the shop. The second section was where the pipes, and hookah sets are located. There is a various collection of pipes and the staff is there to help you out when needed. In this particular visit, I already knew what I wanted and didn't really need too much help. When I did, one of the workers was quick to help me out and make small talk. If I need to visit a smoke shop in the area, I'll definitely comeback! read more

I don't think I'd ever go here for my future piercings, but that's only because I'm a loyal customer of Inkies in Fremont. That being said, this isn't a bad place for hookah enthusiasts. They sell hella hookahs of all different sizes and style, accessories, shisha, coals, etc. This is also the only shop I've been to so far that sells ice chambers. If you've never smoked a hookah with an ice chamber attached, do it, and do it now! The quality of the smoke is so much better. It's much thicker and cooler. They don't sell hookah diffusers (to my knowledge), but if they did, I would recommend one for an even better hookah experience. Now before I get too off track, the prices are pretty damn fair. The staff is friendly and they're always down to talk about anything at all. If you come around enough, you might even get some fringe benefits. Case in point, Elaine and I went one night to give one of the guys a sample of Big Poppa shisha from Sunshine Coast in the city (check my review for SC). We ended up buying a 250g can of Starbuzz shisha, and he gave us a free pack of rose shisha. Pretty cool. Don't like the location turn you away. Just pay a visit, chop it up with the guys, get pierced, buy a pack of smokes, whatever. read more

My nose ring fell out a few months ago and I couldn't get it back in. In a panic I ran to this place and asked the guy to help me. He struggled for 15 minutes to get it in with no luck, my nose was bleeding and he had to use plyers to reshape the ring to get it back in. He got it in but then the back part was hanging out of my nose! He told me there was nothing that could be done because my hole was in an awkward place. After weeks of frustration, I decided to try to get a second opinion. I spoke to the piercer at Fatty Zone and he told me getting a new ring in would be no problem. And within 5 minutes, he put a brand new ring (without reshaping) it in my nose. I am so glad that I didn't take the guy at The Smoke Shop's word. The guys at The Fatty Zone definitely know what they are doing. If I ever need anything else, that is the place I will be going. Do yourself a favor and drive a few more blocks to go to people who know what they are doing! read more

I've been to this smoke shop twice so far, both times well after lockdown first started, and unfortunately, none of the staff that were present during my visits were wearing masks! At all! In spite of the signs out front stating that wearing a mask inside this store was required! Thankfully the other customers who were in at the same time I was were wearing masks, but the staff?? No masks. None. This has deterred me from wanting to come back to this shop for as long as we need to wear masks in indoor public spaces like this. Unless they start wearing masks, I'll have to take my business to a different smoke shop next time I need to go to one for whatever reason. read more

Forget their piercing, this is my SMOKE shop. Hands down, the most friendly and all around on-top-of-it staff. Awesome bongs - not to mention always discounted Purps - and cheap, but awesome, pipes. Always have every blunt you could imagine and bomb incense as well. Sometimes their stock gets a little stale, but it doesn't matter because there is SO MUCH there. They don't have the craziest bongs, but they have a few gems. Good prices. A good place for your basic smoking needs, but if your big into glass and are looking for that one-of-a-kind bong I'd go elsewhere. read more

So I ventured into this spot one day and wasn't surprised to find the Middle Eastern dudes running the shop - we're talking sunnyvale folks. I've noticed this is one of the hotspots for Middle Eastern folks. Anyhow please do not get me wrong - I'm not hating on M.E. people :) I just know what I see. Anyhow back to this review - I went in here and the prices are kind of high. Especially for flavored zig zags. The guys running the shop looked a little suspicious. When I went in a group of young teenagers were there getting tatoos and piercings. The dude seemed to be a little touchy feely for my taste. But hey it wasn't me he was touching. All in all I would rather go to the Smoke Shop in Redwood City off of El Camino now this Smoke shop really rocks. And I like the secret back room that houses all the bongs and pipes. This way little kids looking for skating gear don't get exposed to the adult stuff so early. My second shop is the one in my hometown of Mountain View. I've been in there a couple of times and the guy I met there running the shop was really informative. He rocks! Sorry I can't give him props - I forget his name :( read more

There's plenty to see and plenty of dollars you walk out with since you decide to save your cash for a cheaper place. The shop is alright, its got piercings, tatts, and millions of some hippie's collection of bongs but I think most of their items are overpriced. At times they have sales for their hookahs, smokes, etc, so its a great snag when they have em (ie. pack of dunhills for $4). I have my other shops which sell shisha and coals for half the price, but if I'm around and desperately in need for a smoke or what not. I'll head over here. Don't write it off though, part of its curse is the blessing, they carry some outdated and rare products that other updated stores may not carry and the people who work there are usually pretty decent, the guy who runs the place is super friendly and cool. After me asking him to see a product he pulls it off the shelf, places it on the counter and walks away... So I walked out.
