Love this place! My 1 year old boy is full of energy and not very patient. When the time came for a haircut, I imagined he would leave the salon with half of his hair cut and half left untouched, because he would not sit still. But we have had 2 cuts so far and it went great both times! The owner is great with kids and she has a tablet for little ones to watch movies on while she's doing the work. It's a fun experience and my baby looks handsome with a fresh cut every time! She also offers glitter, colored gels, extensions and nail painting for girls. Looking forward to take my daughter there. Neysa is the best! My son likes his faux hawk and we've tried different barbers/hair salons/kids stylists for 2 years and no one could get it right. Neysa did and on the first visit! She took detailed notes so each time we come back she knows exactly what needs to be done. She's quick to respond to text messages to schedule and flexible to get you in plus her prices are so reasonable. And, did I mention my kids like her?! Tried this spot out at the Escondido mall. Our toddler is not a fan of getting his haircut but Alexis made him feel at ease and comfortable during the cut. She was patient with him when he would squirm and move around. Plus they have iPads loaded with Netflix for the kids to watch while they work. Also nice that we can wait in the play area until our appointment time. Call ahead for appointments because even though they do take walk ins, they can be pretty busy. I have yet to meet her in person but my husband has and he's raved about how great she was with our kiddo with every visit. My son hates haircuts, and she listened to my concerns about his sensitivity to trimmers and instead utilized just the scissors for his haircut. I showed her a picture quickly prior and she was able to copy the exact cut providing details to us on the easiest methods to style. Baby is 1.5 year old. She jumped right in cutting his hair and baby was upset. Sure my baby was crying which makes it difficult for her to cut, but it's her job to sweet talk and get baby familiar with her before cutting their hair. Haircut is done within 10 minutes because she's over it. His hair is uneven on the side, the back was not trimmed evenly, the top was like untouched, still the same length and touching his eye. We spent $20 +tips and now have to find somebody else to fix it. read more
