Here why this place takes a 5star rating for me. First of all good service the girls there where moving fast and where polite,they have a drive-through and they take credit cards,Amex,Discover,Visa and one more which I forgot :( they also offer samples of the flavors you would like if you're not sure on what to have or never been here before this is a must do;prices are not bad either I got the large and I felt I should have order the jumbo :)) just kidding, I order the strawberry with sweet cream(which by the way I got for free because of our awesome yelp app that has a free sweet cream topping once you check-In. The flavor was great it rally taste like strawberry not overwhelmed or too sweet at all just perfect and the sweet cream was all the way to the bottom of the cup which for me is a plus love it,now let's talk about the ice,the way they shave their ice is so cool they use a different machine for this process which me and my kids where exited to see is not the same as any other I have seen before,the ice will not turn into a big chunk even if you are almost done with it is really soft and delicious. My hubby and kids where please to have the watermelon flavor it was great I try it :) and they try mine too win win my husband like it so much that he even took a picture and posted to FB which he almost won't do unless he really likes something. So if you have a chance and are close by or heck why not I drove 10 miles to get it :) just take a drive and have one of this,you will like it so much that you would go back,as for me I will be back to try the orther flavors soon and will post about them as well the next one for me will be Dragons Blood which is strawberry with coconut flavor. read more

Holy cow. I've never had anything like this before. I love snow cones; they are a big part of summer and I've never been too picky about them. Until now. Start with the basic flavors and you'll be a changed person. It's just a radically different snow cone experience. If you try a gourmet flavor however, you will sit dumbfounded by the complexity and beauty of the glorious event happening in your mouth. EVERYTHING is different about this place. The ice is different, the flavors are different, and the service is different. The empty snow cone stands littering the miles of road around the place are a testament to JUST HOW GOOD IT IS. Great shaved ice. Extremely slow service. Literally 40+ minutes in line. You have to be really be in super crave mode to wait this long. Only reason I waited was because my son wanted some, otherwise no way I would wait this long. Unbelievable. read more

I had one of our techs go snag a snow cone for me when I had a dessert craving so I can't comment on the service. I had the tech pickup a Bernie's for me (dreamsicle and tigers blood). In comparison to Mam's, Friohana's, and Bahama Bucks, it's very comparable. I found that the ice was a little bit chunkier than my Mam's and Friohana's but about the same consistency as Bahama Buck's. The flavor was good also. I have always wanted a snow cone that tasted like a creamsicle that has the popsicle with ice cream in the middle, so when I saw that they offered real ice cream inside, I jumped at the chance to finally have my dream snow cone. Unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations. It was basically a scoop of vanilla ice cream at the bottom of the snow cone underneath all the ice. The ice cream had more of a chewy texture versus a creamy smooth texture, and it didn't stand up to the flavors of the snow cone. Not sure if the ice reacted with it that lead to the odd texture, but I certainly don't be repeating it. I've always wanted a place that had a vanilla ice cream drizzle (basically the ice cream base before freezing it), but instead, most places, like this place, have that sweetened condensed milk that's more sugar than cream. I'm sure lots of people like it, just not for me. Maybe one of these days I'll make up my own drizzle to try it out, package it, then sell it to all these snow cone places... ;) Further, I ordered a 12oz but since someone was bringing it back for me, they put it in a 16oz cup. Now that's good business. Oh, and the prices are fantastic and much more reasonable than the other 3 places I mentioned. I will definitely return, but will bring my own ice cream drizzle with me! read more

Best snowballs/shaved ice I've found in the Houston AND they are not the nasty flavored syrups like most places, real sugar and they cover the ENTIRE snow cone with flavor so there is no ice cube in the middle with no flavor what so ever. This ice is not as soft as some other places but the flavors make up for it. Reminds me of a snowball place in New Orleans due to the king cake flavors and getting nachos, pickles etc on the side or have a pickle in the snowball! Staff has always been nice, there are however flies all over the place and the tables are always sticky if you stay there to eat so bring some wet wipes! Worth sticking around though for the air conditioning and they loan out board games for the bored! read more

Not kid friendly! Not a single high chair or booster seat for small children.. Kinda hard to take my kids and safely enjoy our time and snow cone... Ive given them 2 chances to be great. They dont use enough syrup so i leave with dry ice. They have great variety, but the flavors aren't spectacular or particularly identifiable. It's great that they use cane sugar and not corn syrup in their flavors, but I would like better taste. read more

Great selection of flavors. Seriously. But when you have to go back and check to see if the employees have forgotten about your order, it kind of ruins the experience for you. Also, I wasn't even told about the punch card option and when it went back to the counter to get one, they shorted me a punch. One more constructive criticism is that the tables need to be cleaned more often. Resting your arms on sticky tables sucks. Customer service needs to be more of a focus. So I waited a very long time to be able to try this place and finally the wait was over a few hours ago... it wasn't what I expected. I'd rather a snowcone over this. Italian ice is better too. This stuff was wayyyyyy toooo sugary. Like I wouldn't even let my niece taste it. Cup sizes run pretty big so if you want a small, get the kiddie (that's a real small). Sorry for the two starts, but this place rubbed me the wrong way after today's visit. This is my third time coming here, with the first being great, second, okay, and now bad. Placed an order for nachos and the cheese is lumpy, barely lukewarm...so we returned them. The girl said she'll remake them. We waited just to get the same exact nachos we gave her with the cheese only slightly warmer. If you're in the business of selling snack foods, it should always be on point. I wouldn't have minded if we were told the cheese wasn't at the proper temperature so they'll be a longer wait than usual. That's all fine. But please don't serve lukewarm nachos. It's just not right. And next time, listen to the complaint, fix the issue, and then make sure the customer is satisfied. Basic customer service.. read more

This is the only snow cone place close to my house I think. I loved this place more when the owner ran it. She was always nice. Some high school aged girls are there now. My kids and I waited 45 min for a snowcone. It was a reward for the kids after yardwork in the heat! Was handed the snowcones and then we parked to eat them, inside the airconditioned car. It was WAY to much syrup. After 1/3 of the way through a kiddie snowcone it was literally 90% syrup and very little ice. We sipped some through the straw but was way too syrupy. I love Buzzles!!! So happy they are back for the season! This place truly is the best shaved ice stand I have ever found. I'm really bummed they shut down the kiosk over by Pei Wei in The Woodlands, it was much more convenient to get to for me. But it's still worth the drive! They have every flavor you can imagine. My favorites are Wedding Cake (but not the sugar-free one; it just wasn't the same), Silver Fox, Tigers Blood, and Pickle Juice (yeah, that's right, I said Pickle Juice)! This is the BEST PLACE EVER!!! I'm addicted to Buzzles Snow cones!!! My favorites are Grape & Cherry Cola. It's nice to go to a place where they know your name & already know your order. I always ask them to pack my ice & just a little bit of extra syrup. The staff are awesome whether you go to the one on FM-2920, or Kuykendahl. They always have a smiling on their face and willing to help. They even offer suggestions which I like as there are times, I like to try something different. They keep it very, very clean, restrooms are spotless and tables and chairs are always neat & clean.. Love playing the old video games when I have time. My day is not complete unless I have my Buzzles Snow cone. Just like any other establishment, they get busy and you have to wait. Doesn't bother me a bit as it's worth the wait. I grew up in the New Orleans area and snoballs were one of my favorite tings about summer. Having lived in Houston for almost 10 years, I have searched high and low for a New Orleans-style snoball stand near my home. I have finally found a place that is near my home and and they are pretty authentic. I give the snoballs four stars because the cherry-flavored syrup (my go-to flavor) is not as heavy as I'm used to (tastes more watered down) and they are not as "juicy" as back home (although I'm sure I could ask for more). However, the ice is the softest I've ever had; barely a crunch in there. And the choice of flavors and toppings are awesome; something for everyone. I am going to branch out of my go-to cherry to see sample the other syrups as I may be unfairly rating the snoballs on one flavor:-) Overall, I highly recommend Buzzles; these snoballs are a great way to beat this Houston heat! read more
