I've never had an issue with Jamba Juice before, which is why this experience was so disappointing. I ordered ahead for pickup like I usually do, especially because I was having an incredibly difficult day after losing a family member and just wanted something cold to help me get through it. When I walked in, I let an employee know I was there for pickup, gave my name, and was told to wait. I ended up standing there for at least 30 minutes while customer after customer walked in and received their drinks without any problem. I was completely ignored. When I was finally the last person left in the store, another employee asked if I needed help. After checking their system, she realized my order had not even been handled properly and casually went to the back to get it. When she handed me my drink, there was no apology--just a dismissive "here." At that point, I was already frustrated, but what made things worse was hearing the employees laughing right as I was leaving. It felt incredibly disrespectful and honestly humiliating. I have never felt so dismissed and disrespected at a place I used to trust. This location used to be great, but after this experience, I will not be coming back. Avoid this location if you expect basic customer service or respect. read more

Unable to accommodate substitution of ingredients. Smoothie bowls have to be what they have on the menu only. Other locations will let you customize (I.e. white gummy base instead of their selections). We had to be pay way more to order the ingredients individually (a smoothie, a waffle, granola, fruit, etc.) to make our own. read more

San Pablo Dam has a Jamba Juice! If there wasn't a Jamba Juice here I would had gone to El Cerrito for a drink. Before Pinole had a Jamba Juice I would be going to San Pablo to get a drink. Located in San Pablo Towne Center this use to be part of Blockbuster Video. Inside is quite small. It took awhile for my drink to be ready. Thankfully they apologize for the long wait. Their food is good. But they have a sign posted saying no public restrooms. How is that legal? Even if you don't need to use the toilet/urinal, you need to be able to wash your hands when you touch food or money or sneeze/cough. It's basic health and hygiene for the general public. The pandemic restrictions were pretty draconian and I understand the scientific basis of most of them. But restricting a bathroom which has a door in the public lobby just makes me not want to give a business my business. read more

Just sent my son to pick up a medium PB Chocolate Love with a scoop of whey protein. When whey protein is added the cup size goes up because air gets incorporated into the smoothie - and the cup is filled. He comes home with a large cup 3/4 full. I call to complain. No answer and their mailbox is full. That's bullsh*t. Besides that, the taste is off. Too much banana. Jamba Juice, you gotta train your employees to know your products and to be consistent. Jamba Juice is crazy expensive these days so I'm gonna immediately take away one star just for that. The staff is amazing and I don't know how they are so kind and so friendly even though they get paid so little. My large "amazing greens" was $8.09. It was yummy however. I have to mention the Jamba Juice app and I'd like to say that I think it works really well and that's really important especially in the Covid era. So that's a plus. This particular location has quite a lot of parking and there's also other nearby businesses for other items to eat so I would say it's convenient. read more

At least 6 visits never got our order complete, always a missing ingredient (mostly pineapple for some reason) or they don't have wheatgrass. Da Service: Several times we had to ask for our paid for wheatgrass shots, kinda forgot somehow, we get our drinks, then have to wait again for the shots. Again, other stores no issues and even when busy, 5-7 minutes and we're out, happy - not here. These things are on the standard menu... c'mon folks, get it together. Experience for Oct. 18.....Thought I try something new today. So I had the wheatgrass shot & a carrot juice shot. Who in the hell came up with this bright ideal? So it wasn't so bad, but it's a far cry from the sweetgrass I use to eat as a child. On second thought, maybe the dog urine gave the grass it's flavor. Love Jamba Juice in general. This one was just OK though. The staff was not friendly or welcoming. They don't greet you when people come in. They just go and stand behind the cash register and wait to take your order. Instead of asking for your name they just take it off of your credit card instead. It seems anything they can do to NOT talk to the customer is what they do. The smoothies were ok. More watered down than the ones I get back home in Colorado. Jamba Juice is generally one of my favorite smoothie shops but this one was less that up to par. read more

Orange dream machine. It's the ONLY drink I ever get from Jamba Juice. It's a slushy version of orange julius and you know you can't go wrong with that... UNLESS I get some drink that they tell me is an orange dream machine but it tastes like mangos. Anyways, I brought the drink back explaining my orange dream machine isn't an orange dream machine, this is after the fact that i had to wait 20 minutes for my drinks already. After making a mistake on my drink, you would think they'd get my correct order as soon as they can. NOPE. I've been coming here for years and recently noticed the service has dipped a bit. I have some complaints. 1. They started charging 25 cents for their usually free smoothie boosts. I go to several Jamba locations and this is the only one I've seen do this. It's only 25 cents but still gives a really cheap impression of this location's management. 2. They have 4-5 people behind the counter but only 1 blender running = long ass waits. 3. They sometimes don't blend the smoothies well enough, leaving chunks of fruit and ice in them. I think this is mostly when they only have 1 blender running and need to hurry... 4. I know working at Jamba Juice should be "fun", but if you overhear the staff talking to each other, conversations can go inappropriately ghetto in a heartbeat. Today was so great because I ordered the Nutty Butter Almond Bowl and a small Peanut Butter Mo'od and I requested to use the bathroom and the employee laughed and states,"I was just about to use it but you take it I'll go later."
