I would like to try a class or two in the future! For the store itself: I was greeted right away and the sales associate (forgive me, I do not remember her name at the moment) made herself available for questions. Think of this store like a mini-locally-owned Hobby Lobby or Michael's (knick-knacks, seasonal decor, decor accents for the kitchen, living room, den, yard, etc.). Everything was organized, displays were easy to maneuver around (explored this store while wearing my napping 10-month old so ease of being able to move in a store while babywearing is a priority!) So yes I am impressed and will return again. If you need a gift or a craft I would recommend this place, especially if the larger craft stores are intimidating, your first time in a craft store and don't want to be overwhelmed, or are just curious--like I was). Items were displayed like an episode from Hoarders which made it very hard to see what all was really available to purchase. Based on the treatment of the way these items were stored I assumed prices would be reasonable. I was wrong. As an active buyer at antique stores, estate sales, eBay, and swap meets, I'm very familiar with the going rate of several genres of toys I collect. I can say with confidence, the items sold here were overpriced. It seems the whomever runs this store is attached to the items they are selling and are not ready to let these items go. A quick eBay search can show you just how inflated some of these items are. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this place.

It's filled with the kinds of home decor items you see on Pinterest ... cute signs, foliage, mirrors, end tables. Several Bible verse items. Think Kirkland, but a little less commercial. We happened to show up on a 20 percent off day, so you can find great deals if you know how to shop. The owners are super friendly. It really reminded me of the family atmosphere in The Shop Around The Corner from the movie "You've Got Mail". Just substitute home decor and great gifts for children's books. I loved this shop and plan to go back for their Christmas tree decorating class this fall.

It was 15 mins or so prior to closing time. Upon entry, I wasn't greeted right away probably because they were attending to two other customers. Eventually, a lady walked over and offered me a sample chocolate as they usually do. Thank you ma'am! It's a good size shop. Not too big nor too small. They have a neat wall art with a lollipop to measure your height. Creative! One side of the shop has all the pre-packaged chocolate boxes, cans, etc. My go-to is Nuts and Chews. The other side is where you get in line and when it's your turn, you get to build your own box or bag of delicious chocolates. Let's get what satisfies our sweet tooth! I bought about one pound worth of rum..almond..peanut nougats, pecan..almond buds, and scotchmallows. Some flavors come in milk chocolate and others come in dark chocolate. I like both kinds. I'll get what I can based on their availability. I didn't try any new flavors. They usually don't make my top cut for some reason. It would have to be really really good. Sometimes when they already have the best flavor, it's really hard to beat IMHO. Despite of the increase in the price of $32 per pound, I am still happy to support See's Candies. Quality chocolates worth every penny!

There are no unpleasant aftertastes. There is always a free sample to try when browsing the store. Currently the store is decorated for Thanksgiving and Christmas. It is very festive and inviting. Even if you're just walking around, they have free coffee and tea and there's so much to see. There are tons of different booths owned by different people so the prices vary, but I'm absolutely sure there's something in everyone's budget. Everyone is so helpful even when buying big items. I brought my friend here for the first time and she loved it. She bought stuff to furnish her newly built house and was so excited about the prices that I know she will be back. Don't hesitate to stop by and take a look for yourself.
