Great service to our community. They take care of more than recycled merch. So grateful they are here.

Searched the Yelp app and Thrift & More appeared. I visited on a weekday and when I arrived and parked it was like a storefront out of a movie. I'd describe it as an old western looking thrift store on the outside, There's some clothing for sale, but you really come here for the nick-knacks, art, albums, appliances, etc. It's room after room of surprises from almost every era. The prices are fair in my opinion. I've been to estate sales in Los Angeles/Pacific Palisades area, and some of this stuff could have come from that area, but over there it would be 3 times the price. If you're an interior designer looking for specific items, I would make the trip out here. It's run by an older lady, sitting at a table, in the middle of the treasure trove of antique junk. I could have spent another 2 hours combing through everything in detail if I had more time. They are CASH ONLY and there's an ATM at the Upton liquor store across the street. It's a must stop and see attraction in my opinion.

I timed my road trip to stop there at opening which now I see is listed as 9:30 on yelp and 10:30am…read moreelsewhere. I got there at 10am and waited but no one ever came. I read another review with the same experience which means you can't trust the hours. That's sad. I was really looking forward to spend my shopping budget there.

One Star - Very Disappointing Experience…read more Unfortunately, my family and I had a very unpleasant experience at Treasure House Mall, and we will not be returning. When we first entered the store, we were warmly greeted by a sweet elderly woman who welcomed us, held my daughter's tiny dog, and even encouraged us to explore downstairs. Based on that interaction, we believed having the small dog was not an issue. Shortly after, another staff member approached us. This staff member was very heavy set Hispanic man. He so very rudely told us we had to leave immediately because of the dog. His tone was smug, dismissive, and completely unprofessional, which was especially upsetting given that we had already been welcomed moments earlier. There was no polite explanation or attempt to resolve the situation--just an abrupt demand that we leave. This incident was even more frustrating because just a few days prior, the same employee told us we only had 15 minutes to shop when there was still over an hour left before closing. At this point, the repeated negative encounters with the same individual made us feel singled out and unwelcome. As Black customers who live in Barstow and have shopped here frequently, it's incredibly disappointing to feel treated this way. Whether intentional or not, the inconsistency and hostility in how we were handled came across as discriminatory and left a very bad impression. Treasure House Mall seriously needs to address this employee's behavior. Rudeness, inconsistency, and lack of professionalism drive loyal local customers away. Sadly, our family will no longer be supporting this business.

Nicely organized. Not much on sale by vendors. Friendly staff. Visit when in the area.read more

A really rude white woman with long frizzy hair, a little dog, and a grumpy demeanor watched me back into the EMPTY parking lot where this thrift store was, saw me walk into the coffee shop waited a bit and then finally walked in and was totally rude and disruptive to the costumers of that business. She had the nerve to go out of her way (when she could've clearly told me something as she stood and watched me park my vehicle, again in an empty parking lot, which would've saved her this bad review). Instead she opens the door of that business and asks who owns the silver suv which was me, I said it's mine I can move it right now and instead of stopping there she preceded to rudely take her anger out on me saying she's tired of people parking her space while they get their hair done and stuff, mind you its not like she wasn't already parked and even if she wasn't she had the entire parking lot to herself aside from the one parking spot I parked in. My one friend is a little spicy and didn't like her tone of how she came in and caused a scene like that with me so she took it upon herself to chime in on the conversation asking if she had a sign that said that's her parking spot, that really wasn't necessary but she was being a friend and felt the need to speak up for me considering how rude this woman was. I was so embarrassed, I didn't even want to tell her I was going into the thrift store at that point nor did I want to give her my business, so I said yea I missed my turn i meant to come here so I parked in the empty parking lot. Clearly she's just miserable and maybe she was having a bad day but that really didn't look well for her business. Represent yourself and your store better. That was petty and you know it. To make a big deal like that when mine and your car were the only two in the entire parking lot was very rude and immature of you. You wouldn't know it but i am an avid antique collector, and i often frequent the local thrift and antique shops in the high desert ( Country crossroads being the best, very friendly and inviting staff and they always have one of a kind vintage items I never leave there empty handed). I contemplated leaving this store a review as I didn't even go inside but as I sat here and read reviews on why this store has only 3.7 stars, I came across more than a few reviews talking about how rude the workers here are. So I figured I'd contribute to the reviews if that's how they treat their community who are trying to give them business. This was my first time coming to this thrift store and I would never come again. Your attitude and pettiness left a sour taste in my mouth I hope you had a better day today.

I am so glad that I dropped in, and honestly I could have been here for awhile. The minute you enter, there are tons of clothing, but when looking for specific items that are antiques (ish) then you are in for a treat. People might think the thrift store is not organized but honestly they all have the same look to me & the scent of old bookstores/garage smell. But when I am in the mood to look for old cast iron objects specially old soap dishes, or anything that appears retro, this place has them. And the man who was helping me was quite nice and lucky me 50% off as it was labor day special. And I liked another item, that I came back to purchase the Native American Headdress (war bonnet). I was lucky it was still there because it caught my attention, hesitant because it is definitely an honor to find it and my hands drew me to the item when I was purchasing a cast iron bird/fountain. Also awhile back I did come down a few years ago and a lady who worked there was giving us free books. Also showing off the items that I was happy with! I went to Doves and the Fun Stuff thrift store and could not find anything remotely close to what I found at Hummingbird. There was also Mountain Mod and that place was cool but only if you want to spend $25-maybe even $500+ for things that probably can be found in estate sales. Definitely checking out Hummingbird on my next trip!
