We were both impressed with the sheds available on the website and what we saw on Yelp, so we decided Five Star Sheds would be perfect for our own custom shed. The guys were great to work with throughout every step of the process. They came out a couple months before installation to check out the building area and go over our options. (Because everyone was still getting in their pandemic home improvements, their spring schedule filled up quickly.) When filing the permit with the county, we learned that our original plan for the shed wouldn't be possible due to the property line distance requirements, so we needed to have a somewhat unusual 4'x12' design. The guys had no problem with this request and even designed a special roof overhang for my husband's kayak. A few days before installation, they gave us a heads up when previous project was running longer than initially anticipated, so we were able to make sure we could push it back by another day. It was amazing how quickly they built our incredible shed! The crew arrived just after 7:30 and by 2:30 we had a completed custom build! I watched from the window a few times throughout the process and each time I couldn't believe how quickly everything was coming together. It was so sturdy that they were able to test the shelves by standing on them. There are so many beautiful finishing touches to the shed, like metal plating at the entryway and decorative hinges. The parts of the shed also include very generous warranties, so if we ever have issues with the materials, we can call to get it fixed. We were blown away when we did our final walkthrough. If you are looking for a custom shed in the area, I wouldn't hesitate to call Five Star Sheds. They definitely live up to their business name. Even if you have to wait for your build, it's well worth it! The craftsmanship is unmatched and the team works hard to surpass your expectations every step of the way.

I hired this company through a referral from BJ's Wholesale Club, expecting professional installation. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst service experiences I have ever had. The technician arrived and spent 4 hours mounting my TV. Less than 10 minutes after he left, the TV fell completely out of the wall. After I contacted the company, the technician returned with his father and reinstalled it. That should have been the first red flag. The TV was installed in September 2025. In April 2026, the TV fell out of the wall again -- this time causing serious damage: * Destroyed my TV * Damaged my wall / sheetrock * Left me with additional repair costs I contacted FixTman LLC again, and their response was that they would do nothing because it had been more than 30 days. To make matters worse, Thumbtack Quality Assurance also stepped in and tried to help resolve the issue on my behalf. They contacted FixTman LLC directly, only to be told the exact same thing -- that I only had 30 days and they would not take responsibility. Let that sink in. A properly mounted TV should not fall out of a wall -- not once, and definitely not twice. This was not normal wear and tear. This was poor workmanship, improper installation, and a complete lack of accountability. In over 40 years, I have never seen anything like this. Please do your research before hiring this company. I will also be reporting this experience to BJ's Wholesale Club, since they referred them. I appreciate the role which FixT serves, but with Yelp as the solicitation platform, it admittedly seems like another unnecessary middleman to go through them. The contractors did miss some minor things with our playground assembly, and unfortunately the price came in higher (without notification), despite my providing the exact model and steps required for assembly at the time of soliciting. The insurability and lack of comprehensive quality guarantees is a little off putting in the end, as even other entities that exclusively use "independent contractors" such as uber, still have additional protections in place for the end customer. Overall, they were good, not perfect. The process was wonky, but worked (for the most part) in the end. I just would prefer to go directly to the contractors in the future.

They were flexible with us as we had to reschedule due to weather, and had several complicated moves that were handled very well. As with any move, we took care ourselves to wrap things, communicate our needs and expectations, but I would do that with any mover. Ask questions, clarify and explain what you want. All furniture was wrapped carefully with moving blankets and secured and all breakables were treated with care. I've never seen a team of people work so hard!
