Learn more I was in dyer need of a dentist and researched some Dentists in the area I work in and love the reviews posted by customers! I decided to give them a try. Went by there, picked up paperwork for 1st timers, filled the paperwork out and returned it that same day before they closed. My appointment was set for the next morning due to a cracked tooth. I arrived 10 minutes early and they were ready for me. I did not have to wait. The staff that worked particular with me were: Dr. Delbert Williamson, the Hygienist - Liz, Assistant - Lynda, and my Financial check out assistant - Doleen. These people are the best group of dental staff I have ever gone to. They all were very pleasant, nice and helpful. From the front desk to check out time, the staff is the BEST I could have found. They made me feel very welcome. They took time to explain everything they were going to do and explained things before they did it to ensure I understood. They scheduled me for my next appointment and just broke down everything I needed to know and do. Dr. Williamson was very polite and explained everything he was preparing to do to my mouth before doing it; he, Lynda and Liz were always asking am I ok. I "knew" I was in the presence of extremely knowledgeable, experienced and caring individuals from the front desk check in to check out. I am going to get more of their business cards when I go back and pass them out. I encourage everybody to go there and I guarantee you will feel good about going to the dentist! My entire life I've had anxiety going to the dentist due to many very stressful visits over the years. I actually debated canceling a clean, x-ray, and exam for $39 that I saw on FB from this practice. It started with the manager, Helen, making me feel comfortable enough to come in. Once there, the receptionist, Sonia, took care of me getting the process started. Very polite, helpful, and answered all my inquiries (no pressure). Next, Ruth who took all my x-rays and pictures During that process, she talked to me explaining each process and soothed my concerns by reassuring me along the way. Next, Diane, who did a gum measurement which I never heard of. She, too, spoke to me through the process and explained what she was doing, ensuring I was comfortable and just like all the previous people mentioned. Next up, Dr. Williamson! Soft spoken, caring, excellent patient care, with all my dental issues, he reassured me that he was going to take care of me; wry knowledgeable! I neglected to mention, no one knew of my anxiety until I shared how comfortable and at ease I felt while in their care! I actually cried expressing my thoughts of the totally unexpected yet awesome way I was treated at this practice. I was treated the same way by everyone I came in contact with! Dr. Williamson even gave me a comforting hug (really, I was teary). Wrapping back around to Sonia (ensured I had my prescription and appointment for my next visit and Linda (another receptionist who made sure all info was entered in the system). God sent me to the right place! I'm absolutely impressed and will definitely refer others, in need of dental care, to this practice. A GREAT TEAM, thank you! read more

Exceptionally efficient throughout the process, from check-in to treatment. From 70 years of experience at dentists', I felt I was in the presence of extremely knowledgeable and experienced individuals, from dental assistants, on up to the dentist. Unlike so many other dentists I've been to, it was obvious they placed equal emphasis on my choice of alternative, future treatments that were expensive and those that were less so. I have found so many dentists (among other processions) that emphasize the more expensive alternatives and attempt to "ease" the patient toward the more expensive procedures. I found absolutely none of that here. Some of the reviews earlier than mine have taken the opposite position. My experience to date indicates that any such negative reviews are misplaced and probably arose because the reviewer simply reflect an unfounded assumption that that "is what dentists do". I believe the practice is widespread, and one must be wary of it, but I believe strongly that that is not done at Byrd Dental Group. The REASON I believe that is, when I showed interest in the LESS expensive procedure they were quick to point out that it was an appropriate and effective procedure in all respects. In other words, in no way did they discourage me from the less expensive choice or extol the virtues of the more expensive choice over the less expensive one. read more

I don't know anyone that enjoys visiting the Dentist office but if you must this is the office for you. During my, 83-year-old mother's first visit she was handled with such care and concern that I would be remiss if I did not share her A-W-E-S-O-M-E experience. Best dentist office I have ever been to. The office is beautiful, organized, and clean. The front office staff is was so friendly and made me feel welcomed and relaxed. The hygienist and dental assistants were friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic with my cleaning and recommendations about my oral health care. Dr. Williamson was extremely friendly and I felt very comfortable while he completed the exam. After the exam, they created a treatment plan that I could easily work with along with my insurance. I felt they were accurate and honest about the conditions that needed to be addressed. If you need a good dentist, I highly recommend this office. It was a great experience. I was beyond impressed with my experience at Dr. Williams office. My first point of contact was with the front office staff and Doreen the office manager). I was completely overwhelmed with kindness and understanding. Dr. Williams assistance's were very knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable throughout the many many many appointments I've had with this group. I really like them- very friendly & helpful staff. They explained everything about aftercare, procedures, insurance details, payment, etc. to myself and/or my daughter. And I really appreciated that they did not try to upsell me on extras (such as unnecessary cosmetic work.) I also appreciate that the dentist is conservative in his approach to correcting issues- he is very much about keeping an issue from growing and/or correcting it without any dental work if possible. I am well pleased with my service from byrd dental group. Upon arrival it was amazing to see them implementing so many safety measures due to the coronavirus. I was greeted outside and had my temperature taken. This shows that they are definitely being cautious with the well being of patients and staff. Everyone was delightful. I really hate going to the dentist but here they made me feel like it wasn't going to be a horror movie. They were all very nice and had very insightful information that they explained so that I could understand. They also provided options for treatment rather than telling me you have to have this done so your teeth fall out. I've been going to Byrd Dental group for a couple of years now. The location is convenient with easy access to 400. The staff are very friendly and courteous. The Hygenist Liz is excellent and gentle, even if a deep clean is necessary. The assistant Liz is also very friendly and puts you at ease from the start for those that have a phobia about dental clinics. All services were top notch. The only negative is they are a bit pricy. read more

I had a wonderful 2+ appointments with the Byrd Dental group. They are very kind and understood my anxiety about the Dentist. Noah has been absolutely wonderful and spent quality time with me concerning the health of my teeth as well as the care he took when replacing a crown that had broken. I won't go anywhere else. Who actually loves going to the dentist? Anyone? Me either. However, I can say that Byrd Dental Group has finally overcome my fear of dentists. I actually look forward to having my teeth cleaned. I love this office! I've had to have a couple of crowns, but I knew that they were going to have to happen when I first saw them. They are accommodating, and everyone is very friendly. My whole family goes here, and they have all been pleased with the care that we've received. Dr. Williams has been my dentist for several years. He and staff are excellent and prices very affordable. I have never left the chair in pain and that is the best rating a dentist could ever have.
