First, if I was only rating the Office Staff and the array of Dental Technicians employed at Vincent Dental, my rating would be 5 stars. On 2/6/24 I had a consultation at Vincent Dental. I paid $15,000 (+$300 for the consultation) on that day and $4700 on 2/20/24. I was scheduled for surgery on March 6th. I forget why, but that appointment was cancelled. I was rescheduled for March 14th; but that appointment was also cancelled. Sometime after March 14th I was informed that Dr. Vincent was scheduled to have sciatica surgery and that I would have to wait 2 more months to start my treatment. This meant that the treatment would start in June or July. After learning this, I asked for a refund and planned to start searching for another Dentist. This meant more "out of pocket" money for consultations. After the first consultation I informed Vincent Dental that I would wait (approximately 2 months) for Dr. Vincent to recover from his surgery. That brings me to May 14, 2024. During the week prior to the 14th I notified Vincent Dental that a tooth, which was only a little sensitive at the time of my consultation, was now unbearably painful. I wanted the tooth simply removed since I was under the belief that my treatment would begin (at the latest) sometime in July (3+ months after Dr. Vincent's surgery). Dr. Nick looked at the tooth and advised me not to have it pulled. I reminded him that the tooth would be removed when my treatment started in June or July. He informed me that it might be a year before the treatment would start. This was news to me and there's no other way to say it, "I was misled." Dr. Nick then told me that he could save the tooth and stop the pain which would be better for eating. I allowed him to talk me into getting a root canal. I didn't inquire about the cost because from my perspective, Dr. Vincent failed to meet his commitment to me. Unfortunately, Dr. Vincent didn't see things that way and he wouldn't let Dr. Nick begin the root canal until I signed an agreement to pay $1500 for the procedure. They had me just where they wanted me, desperate to stop the persistent pain before leaving their office. I protested further and explained to them that things wouldn't have gotten to this point if they hadn't cancelled my 2 appointments in March. They never did give me a good reason for canceling either appointment. My whining brought the price down to $1000; $1000 more than what was fair. I wanted to speak with Dr. Vincent and could never get him to call me back. He used Andrea (office manager) as a buffer between himself and unhappy patients. I also wrote him a letter which fell on deaf ears. His only reaction was to tell Andrea to refund my $20,000. He wouldn't even convey a message to address my assertion that, had he not cancelled my appointments, there wouldn't have been a lengthy delay in starting my treatment. And lastly, to make matters worse, less than a week after the root canal, I could feel a gritty substance coming loose from the area in and around the tooth. I started having pain that was different from that which you would get from an exposed nerve. It seemed as though a void had developed between the gum and the tooth. Brushing now is very painful and the pain extends into my jaw bone. I won't go back to Vincent Dental to have them look at the tooth. My experience has eroded the confidence, respect, and most of all, the trust I once had in Dr. Vincent. read more

I went to Dr. Vincent from the Delta Dental recommendations (my other Dentist dropped Delta Dental). The staf and Dr. were all very friendly and thorough and did a great job! The Dentist was very gentle. I had a broken molar and had to be numbed to fix it. I literally did not even feel the needle he was so skillful with the injection technique. I really do recommend this practice and will definitely be going back. read more

I was very disappointed with my care at this office. I had a fractured tooth and wanted to establish dental care with this office. The visits for routine dental care and deep cleaning went well. I was recommended to have a $5000 dental implant procedure for the fractured tooth. After consideration and calling back to advise that I didn't want this, I was scheduled to have a visit for a partial denture. On the day of the visit, I was told that the dentist wouldn't do just the tooth extraction or partial and would only move forward with it if I had a bone graft ($2000). I declined the bone graft since I didn't want to have an implant so it's unnecessary. I was told that the dentist won't complete the treatment plan. The dentist NEVER came into the room to talk to me and the receptionist was the messenger for this entire interaction. I left without seeing a provider. Fast forward about 3 months later and I start to get bills from my insurance for the visit that never happened AND the partial denture that they refused to make!! I was shocked! I wouldn't recommend this office to anyone unless you want a dentist who's just trying to make money. read more

Revolving door of hygienist. Been there 5+ years with 3 different/new teeth cleaners. I don't see the main dentist anymore, not sure who is in charge. The worse part is they try to "sell" you on all their products! They must be on commission. The last straw was when they scheduled a cleaning too soon (3 months instead of 6 months). My mistake I didn't realize it was too soon. I figured it felt too soon because I was in a month or two early to fix a filling (one of theirs, less than 5 years). But the cleaning was an "extra" cleaning the hygienist thought I needed. No one mentioned it would not be covered by insurance. I cannot trust a business that will not disclose when and what they are charging me ahead of the extra service. read more

Dr. Daniel Vincent, owner of Vincent Dental neglected to provide a prescription for pain after informing him and my primary dentist Dr. Ceron on several occasions from May 13th throughout the day of May 18, 2022 to treat my infection from a previous root canal. Per Dr. Ceron on May 13th stated that she was watching my #31 but somehow didn't take an x-ray from April 25th x-ray to compare. Dr. Vincent assumed that I was used to the first prescribed antibiotic and that's why it's not working and told me once I get on a new antibiotic then I won't have pain. I told him that his statement was false and that I never had the first antibiotic before in my entire life. It is very disheartening that this physician did not allow me to be a part of my plan of care. He was very uncouth, unethical, unprofessional, aggressive, malicious and overwhelmingly desensitized towards me after explaining to him that I could not eat due to excruciating yet consistent pain and have tried all pain medication otc. I had informed him that I was a nurse and I am aware of the medications and terminology then he became flustered and told me to handle the pain medication part by myself. Instead of him and his staff doing what's morally right (except Dr. Ceron because she wasn't in--supposedly), I was told to go to urgent care because they no longer have my case due to referring me to an oral surgeon that I have to wait days for an appointment and pay a consultation of $300. They wouldn't even see me in between in nor bothered to write a prescription order to receive and alleviate this nightmare! This dentist does not advocate for his patients instead he tells you what he is going to do for your body and not have his patient to be a part of the healing process. Healthcare is patient focused not physician focused. Dr. Vincent lacks moral, integrity, compassion, gratitude and respect. This business should be under investigation and shut down. I pray that no one ever in life has to go through what I have went through. He also stated that he didn't care if I reported his NPI after notifying of my dissatisfaction. Stay away! read more

When I moved down to Georgia from NY I was dreading finding a new dentist. Knowing absolutely nothing about the area I had nightmarish thoughts of being forced to go to some hole-in-the-wall place with old equipment. Because of that fear I reached out around my office and got a recommendation to Vincent Dental and what I found there was totally the opposite and put me at ease. I've been a patient of Vincent Dental and his team since 2014 and they are amazing people. Not once has any of his staff been rude and more importantly, not once have they not been smiling and welcoming. They are professional and energetic and honest - when it comes down to it they are just good people running a good business. Cannot recommend them enough. If I ever have to move on from Georgia or the area it will be hard to find anyone to their standard. read more

I honestly wasn't going to post a review because this happened about 9 months ago but after all the difficulties it has taken me to find another dentist.. and how long it has taken me to even muster up the courage to go to a new dentist because of the traumatic experience I had with them is just ridiculous and unnecessary. Vincent Dental was very helpful. At first. They help me set up a dental insurance plan and the consultation process and first appointment was very pleasant. However! Those were the only times. The only reason I have to look for ANOTHER dentist is because Dr. Vincent was careless and aggressive with me throughout my whole procedure. He told me to speak up whenever I was in pain so when I tried to tell him he was pushing down on my jaw so hard to the point where it felt like it was about to lock he got upset and aggravated with me. He actually said,"what?! What now?" In an exasperated tone AND UP UNTIL THAT POINT I DIDNT SAY OR DO ANYTHING! so I had to catch an attitude with him. Like what? I understand I have a mouth full of wires and screws but when you're pushing down on my jaw and I'm tearing up it's time for you to stop. Not get mad at your patient. And no, I have a high tolerance for pain but when I hold it in for a good 40 minutes of you pushing that hard down on my jaw?..That wasn't the end of it, NOPE. He left an acidic residue which is called edge?? on my face RIGHT NEXT TO MY MOUTH and didn't bother to wipe it nor did his DA catch it either so I have a burn scar right next to my mouth. & yes I have the photos to prove it. He also gave me multiple shots of novacaine (more than needed) so the right half of my face was numb for over 12+ hours. After, I had a tingly pinching sensation for days. When I called the dentist, I didn't even plan on changing dental offices at first nor did I ask for a discount but when I told Dr. Vincent I wanted to be treated by a different doctor at his practice he said NO! LOL????? Because "ultimately all procedures have to go through me and I want to be the one to fix this for you" is what he said to me. ...? When I don't feel SAFE or actually CARED FOR I don't want your hands anywhere near me ESPECIALLY my face. So when he refused my request I asked for my paperwork and any recommendations to any new dentists and all they sent me was two locations that accept my dental insurance, but looking upon their reviews of one star and two stars i wasn't able to muster up the courage to go, being so afraid that a situation that I've been through might happen again. Oh and I got a "Im sorry you feel that way and Im sorry can't convince you to stay". What a sincere apology. I still have the same issues with my teeth and I haven't been able to go into a dentist office since because I've been so scarred. And I didn't Like going to dentists in the first place. AND I've been paying for my dental insurance SINCE I FIRST ENROLLED BUT HAVE YET TO GET ANY MORE WORK DONE SO THERE GOES $70 A MONTH. HAPPY THANKSGIVING. I COULDNT EAT MY FOOD WITH JOY BECAUSE OF MY TOOTH PAINS. It makes me so angry EVERY TIME I think of Dr. Vincent and how unprofessional he was. And I hope you read this too. read more

Had a tooth implant with Vincent Dental and it couldn't have gone any better! Started the process back in April and they took all the precautions to make me feel safe during this COVID era (temperature checks, masks and filling out a form that asks if you've have/had it, traveled anywhere within the last 14 days, etc). The room I had my procedure in was spotless and he has all of the latest technology to ensure the implant is a success! His staff is awesome and makes you feel welcome which I appreciate. When I need a dentist, especially for the complicated things, Vincent Dental will always be my first choice! Thank you for a job well done. read more

It has been a long time since I last used this Dr and I am still having problems with two root canals he performed. Be warned, while general dentists can and do perform root canals, they should be honest and admit when you are better off in the hands of an endodontist to perform more complex, specialized treatments. Rather than do so, Dr Vincent performed work on me that my current endodontist identified as both missed canals in one tooth and unproperly obturated canals in another. The end result? One molar was so poor, he couldn't save it and it needed an extraction, and the other tooth now requires complex and expensive re-treatment under endodontic microscope to clean up the mess he left behind, several years later. While I appreciated Dr Vincent's office and dental assistant staff, his demeanor was another matter. I hated the way he used to speak down to them in front of his patients. He's impatient at best, complaining multiple times during my procedure that he was tired. Like I said, why not hand me over to a specialist when it was needed? Because of $$ evidently. Don't try and call his after hours number in an emergency either. That either goes to voicemail or unanswered. For me, the last straw was when I had a pre-scheduled visit because of TMJ disorder and he wasn't there. The substitute dentist found a bony growth on my jaw that she couldn't identify and told me she would follow up with him for his input and get him to call me. The call never came. There are too many outstanding dentists in the area (like my current one) to waste my time and money on this nonsense. He has a great marketing gimmick going, but I'm no longer duped. read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Vincent for at least 10 years and he is the absolute best. His staff is personable, competent, AND honest! I left another practice located in Vinings because of the constant up-charges and ridiculous procedure recommendations. My experience with Dr. Vincent / Vincent Dental has been the opposite. He has recommended against certain procedures and explained how I would be better off long-term by following a cheaper alternative (no cost to me). I am self-pay so recommendations like these definitely help. Highly recommend. read more
