I was looking for a physician who would exhibit a true concern for my health and accept the responsibility​ for my overall health by coordinating​​ the work of my specialists. As stated, as time went on, Dr. Matthews became​ less and less helpful to my medical needs and appeared more withdrawn and consequently became unable to meet my needs. Many of my health questions were answered​ with "I don't treat that"s. After my NEXT TO LAST visit​ with her, I made arrangements to be accepted into another doctor's practice; and I did not inform her of such acceptance on our last visit during which she indicated on paper that I was a "complex case" which she could not handle but would see me until I found a new physician. I am very very pleased​ with my new physician's training, interest​ in details​, pleasant attitude, and feel that I am receiving TOP medical attention. I am very aware of the changes in the medical field as it relates to the physicians' practices. I am doing much better on medicines that have been totally eliminated​ or reduced in quantity. When I have a need, I do not have to spend an entire day​ waiting for a response or possibly being seen EVEN during that week, much less the next day, which was the case with two of my serious needs as follow-up from ER. In essence, I can only assume that did not fit into the "classification​" of the majority of her patients.

I appreciate them so much I bring them Lindor truffles, just because they are awesome. I was referred here by my oncology doctor when I was looking for a primary care physician. It's a busy practice and I had to wait a bit to get in, but so grateful that I did. Unparalleled. I always get quick and personal responses, on the portal site or by phone, when I need a prescription refill or have a question. I especially love my primary care physician, Dr. Hansel. He is obviously skilled and knowledgeable, but very importantly he is also kind, and though I know he has a tight schedule, he has a way of not making me feel rushed or unheard.

I would note that there is some new research out there that indicates that certain kinds of meals can be eaten on the day before, yet they require absolute abstinence. The colonoscopy and endoscopy that I had on Jan 23, 2025, went well - no complaints. Because I have mysteriously developed anemia, it was essential that the source of a possible bleed be found. The next step was a pill camera, scheduled for Feb. 21. I was unable to swallow the pill camera and was told another method of testing would be investigated and I would be advised. I also was given a stool sample test to take. Since Feb. 21, I have been trying to get in touch with their office via phone and email, and today, a month later, was finally successful, only to be told the doctor had done nothing.

Everyone I encountered - non essential staff, clergy, housekeeping, nurses, dietary staff, Medicare reps., surgeons, anesthesiologists, etc. gave me exceptional service.
