OK, so after reading all the Yelp reviews, I decided to take the plunge and check this place out…read more While going through the reviews, there were two things that stood out... A) Tony is a great barber B) A second mortgage might be needed to pay for the haircut Both were fairly true, though I didn't have to connect with my banker. I told Tony exactly how I wanted my hair cut and he NAILED it! The cut and the length were exactly what I wanted. He even readjusted my part - which very few barbers seem to bother with anymore. After I told him how I wanted it cut, he said, "you want a really good trim", which given my diminished scalp is typically what I am seeking but rarely seem to get. I've only had one other barber whose work I've been this satisfied with and sadly he retired (and passed away) a few years ago. Tony is among the best to be found without a doubt. Now, as for the cost. In looking at the reviews, I was seeing $37 as the high mark - but that was a couple years back, so I went in figuring it would be $40, maybe $42. Nope... $45. That's twice as much as I've paid the barber I've been seeing in recent times - who's a nice guy, but whose haircuts are not at Tony's level. So, will I go back? Yes. Will I go back as frequently as I'd like? I doubt it. My five star rating is based entirely on the quality of the haircut I received and my experience with Tony overall. If I were to factor in the cost, the real rating would be about 3 1/2 stars. So that's it in a nutshell - hope my review helps anyone who reads it to make the right choice for themselves.

They told me they generally only take appointments but were checking schedules to see if anyone could make time for my cut. Will squeezed me in before his next customer and honestly gave me one of the best- if not the best haircut I've ever gotten. Frank's Barber Shop has been around forever. I remember my mother taking my brother there over 25…read moreyears ago. Now, I have been taking my son ( who is 4 yrs. old) to Frank's barber shop for over 6 months. We left another shop because the barber would stop and talk and stop and talk causing us to have to be there longer than necessary. And my son would always come out with cuts on his head from being lined up. From the first time we went to Frank's it was a pleasant experience. We went to the first chair open which was Joshua in the 3rd chair. He was very patient with my son and got us in and out. He also took care to understand how I wanted his hair to look. I'm never disappointed. Now he's also cutting my hair and I get so many compliments from both men and women. I usually go on a Tuesday or Wednesday because there is less of a crowd. But Joshua is good about setting a time for me to come if I end up waiting until the weekend to include on Sundays. I haven't been to any of the other barbers but they all seem to do a good job and are all very respectful and professional. The atmosphere of the shop is perfect for me as a woman. There's no offensive language or music in there. It's just an overall great experience. This is your spot if you're looking around for the perfect shop.
