I know it cost a bit more then I would like, but the portion size broke my doubt. The chicken isn't cut to be flat so it is not cut even on the bun. You get a large lope sided chicken tender(according to the menu, but tenders are not that large. Think it is a cutted breast). The batter was pretty crispy. Took it home in a sealed container and it maintained it's crunch being covered in coleslaw. Can only imagine eating it fresh. Topped with a generous potion of coleslaw. Fries were good, the potato salad was really good. Can't remember a restaurant that served it but this place is worth trying. Really make you wonder why there isn't more good potato salad. This place has apparently been open more than two years but I didn't know. Decided to give them a try. Prices are a bit high, so for my 1st time I ordered 5 wings. The lady who took my order talked me into getting fries too, so my order went from $6.99 to over $12. It was good though! They have 3 sauces; mango habanero, buffalo and barbecue. I chose buffalo and was happy to see that it came on the side, in case I didn't care for it. My order took about 15 minutes and was still hot when I got home. The chicken was seasoned well and fried perfectly. The fries were good too and both were delicious when dipped in the sauce. The chicken tasted incredibly fresh and crispy. The cheese fries kinda just tasted like cheese and fries, but they were good. The service was mediocre at best, but the food made up for it tenfold. The fried chicken tenders were really good, but the double patty cheeseburger was way too messy and it was a bit mid in flavor. The fries were terrible, super dry on the outside, not crispy AT ALL., as if they'd given us day old fries or something. We'll definitely be back for the fried chicken since it's halal for my husband (but I actually prefer raising canes). The wait was pretty long but again it was one woman working at the time. After we got our food, she had gone around to the three parties eating and apologized for the wait and offered extra fries. A decent size place with wooden tables and banquet style chairs. Counter service with retro music playing throughout the restaurant. We both ordered the chicken sandwich combo Glenda had the mild and I opted for the Hot. The combo came with fries and potato salad, no drink, that was separate. The sandwich was made fresh and good size, it was moist and the breading was crunchy with a good flavor. The hot sandwich was spicy but not what I consider hot. The sandwich had the usual; coleslaw & pickle slices along with what they call a 24K sauce. The sauce was nice but nothing for the sandwich.
