We came here for carryout after a funeral for a (Jewish) friend. They have a very convenient way to order online and pick up. We were a long way out, and we ordered while driving an hour to the location. The location is inside a building called WiFi. There is a parking lot on both sides, and it is a very long building with several addresses and other (Jewish) businesses, as well as restrooms, but I did not use them. Across the street is a park and jogging/bike path. Very gorgeous area but not pedestrian-friendly. We got the Crunch Salad for $19 (!) and cinnamon rugelach. (It was listed as such but it may have been a cinnamon twist. It resembled a croissant with cinnamon rather than the square/oval shape rugelach that I'm used to. And it was moist and delicious) For the price the salad was very big, but rather hard to eat! I did not eat any til later, as we gorged on food before the funeral. The Crunch Salad has crispy or grilled chicken, pastrami bits, romaine lettuce and croutons. The dressing was similar to 1000 island, very good, but the crispy chicken was like pebbles! Very tough, and the pastrami was chewy, but otherwise pretty good. It may be better to go with grilled instead of crispy chicken. The place is small with efficient service. Our order was there when we arrived, in a paper bag and cardboard container. The other food looked good on display. There was a small eating area on a Thursday afternoon, but we opted to eat outside.

Blooming onion shared at a table of 9--with leftovers.

This was my first time eating at a big city kosher restaurant and I showed up with a group of my non-Jewish work colleagues, all of us there for a business trip. None of us knew what to expect and we loved all of it--the nice lady who took our orders, the delicious and generously-sized appetizers, the fusion of style and flavors. Kosher food is typically more expensive but these prices seemed pretty average for Chicago and the amount served was a lot; most of us took boxes back to the hotel and I finished leftovers at the airport. Several remarked it was the best food they had during their stay (and I'm with them). Would happily eat there again.

Great food, semi affordable price, and very consistent. Definitely and easy kosher option that you cannot go wrong with.

Expecting a long wait, I was pleasantly surprised that while I was asked to pull to the side, my wait was only 5-6 minutes. I ordered a combo meal and when I got home my food was still hot. The burger was as good as I remembered! Fresh, quality beef and prepared exactly how I requested. I upgraded to the Parmesan truffle fries and while they tasted great, TBJ still cannot seem to make crisp French fries. They were again soggy as always and very disappointing. I remember my daughter loving their burgers/patty melts and always telling me to skip the fries. They really need to work on that. For a $16 combo meal I would expect better. (My Diet Pepsi was great.) Ha ha ha

The fries were still warm (though a little soggy) when I arrived at my destination (abt five minutes). I do love skin-on fries though, and I enjoyed them. The burger was ok -- not hot, not really warm either, a little too much sauce. I am willing to try again but I'll probably have to eat in the restaurant. Good customer service though -- friendly staff -- and I am pleased that they included a large stack of napkins and container of ketchup, even without me asking.
