I've been coming here for several decades since they opened and I've always really enjoyed this place. It is unfortunate that the Nordstrom's had taken away the live piano player which I thought brought some really great ambience and differentiated them in the market. However, this Nordstrom is definitely well stocked all year-round and carries a heck of a lot more product than the Woodfield or the Skokie location. Also, what I love about Nordstrom even after all these years is that they are very well staffed. No matter where you go in the store there's always someone willing and ready to help. I think it also helps because the Nordstrom sales staff is in fact incentivized. Over the years, the store has also changed, especially with the offerings from the café coffee shop restaurant, etc. However, when they first opened, I was in my teens if not early 20s and that particular section of the store always had some of the best selection. As well as some of the best brands. I still love coming here to this day and it's also a better sales tax then Woodfield, the city or Skokie

It was one of the best shirts I ever owned, Wish I had bought five more. Today I wouldn't wear Any shirt I saw in the Whole Place. My Grandfather bought his suits here the would take me for a Guinness in the Pub. I emulate his style. After I went to Von Maur and found everything I needed in forty-five minutes. I arrived a few minutes early and no one was there at the station. I walked around a bit and went back over to see if person had arrived. Still there was no one around.i tracked down a manager and she told me that the young lady was off for the weekend. I tried not to be upset about little things. But, I'm only human. I explained to the Manager of my situation ad she was so attentive and kind. She sincerely apologize and for my inconvenience. This was never disclosed nor stated when I inquired about the costs when making the appointment nor during the exam. It is unusual and improper for a doctor's office to charge a separate $100 prescription fee on top of an office visit charge, especially if it was not disclosed upfront. A prescription is generally considered part of the treatment included in the cost of the office visit. I have asked for this charge to be reversed and to have Dr. Kovak return my call.
