Here are the facts: my car was parked alongside the grass that was mowed by the Wimberg team. My car was intact prior to arriving at my mother's - a little before 9am. She lives on a side street in Hyde Park, so not a high traffic area at all. It was a Wednesday morning. The Wimberg mowing team arrived shorty after I got to my mother's to mow the front lawn - both by the street and the house. After the team left, my car window was shattered with a long scratch along the side of my car. As shown, something was dragged along my car to create the scratch across my side car. This was the side right next to the lawn that was mowed. I asked the Wimberg team to do the right thing. I understand accidents happen, but I was refused. I filed a police report as well. The police noted this did not seem like a random break in as nothing was taken from the inside. Just hope it doesn't happen to anyone else getting serviced by them. As a company, you have the choice to do the right thing even when no one is watching. That's how an ethical business should be run.

I purchased 5 scoops (18 cubic feet per scoop) of the Signature Black Dyed Hardwood Mulch. I shopped around online and they had some of the best prices and came recommended to me from a friend. Their website lets you tell them exactly where you want them to place the bulk mulch, which arrives in a small dump truck. I scheduled a Tuesday delivery between 8am-11am and they arrived around 9:30. The guy back right into the driveway and dumped the mulch exactly where asked and was done in just a couple minutes. The mulch was finely shredded, well-colored and spread easily. Very impressed with the product quality and recommend to anyone needing to buy in bulk or bags. Buying in bulk is much cheaper, but that's the same anywhere. The only reason I didn't give them 5-stars is that their website needs to update their pricing. They advertised $21.50 per scoop, but they invoiced me at $23.00 per scoop. It's a $1.50 difference and not a big enough concern for me to even call them, but wanted to make a note of it. Secondly, their websites offers a promotion of buy 10 bags or 5 scoops and get one free. I ordered 5 scoops and received 5 scoops. I had assumed incorrectly that they would of added a 6th automatically, but apparently you have to order 6 scoops online to get the offer. I ended up have more than enough mulch for the job so didn't call them, but again wanted to make a note. Maybe they included a 6th for free, but it wasn't noted in the invoice and the delivery driver confirmed he was delivering 5 scoops. Overall I was very pleased with the ordering, delivery and product quality. My small complaints would probably of not occurred if I had just called, but I prefer to order online whenever possible. Good business that might just need a few tweaks to their website but I still highly recommend them.

I called your office on 4/24 in an effort to obtain some information on your policy/protocol around tree removal as it relates to close neighbors whose property and safety are affected by your work. No one called me back. I live next door to the staging area your crew used Wed - Fri of last week to remove some trees from [Hyde Park address]. I barely know that homeowner and I had no idea this work would be taking place. I even spoke to one of your supervisors (?) on Wed morning to see what was going on. He failed to inform me at that time that my back yard would be unusable and unsafe for 3 days. As it turned out, my house was not safe either. On Thurs morning, my lawn guy showed up, as scheduled, to do my spring cleanup. One of your guys told him he had "30 seconds" to get out of my back yard. Nice. At 5.30pm on Fri, I looked out the 2nd floor back window and saw the crane, holding a large piece of tree trunk, suspended over the NE corner of my house. I went outside and told one of your employees to tell the crane operator to stay away from my house. His reply was: We're done and we weren't anywhere near your house. This was a lie and I don't appreciate being gaslighted. I challenged his lie and an argument ensued. He continued to lie and F-bombs were dropped on both sides. I then spoke with a second employee who didn't deny the crane was suspended over my house, but kept talking about risk mitigation. The problem is that while they mitigated the risk of your paying customer, they did nothing at all mitigate risk to my property or to me - which sounds like a company policy. Why would you allow your employees to treat people like this? You show up unannounced, denying me notice that I am losing the use of part of my property for several days, put me and my house at risk, and then lie about it. I had [a different service provider] do my tree work several years ago and I cannot imagine they would have treated my neighbors like this under any circumstances. (Your crew also backed into my fence on Wed. Since the developer's demo guys already hit it, that's on him, but the fact that your guys smashed it even further and said nothing about it to me, says even more about you as a company.) This kind of behavior makes the mission and values statement you posted on your website a complete joke.
