I almost don't want to review BZ's Comfort Air; selfishly so I won't have to fight for an appointment! Where do I begin! I had an HVAC guy from a reliable referral whom was quick at what he did, but did not seem to go the extra mile. I saw a Groupon online and thought, what the heck, I need my AC Unit checked for the summer. I quickly set an appointment and that was that. During this time, my furnace stopped working. I called BZ on a Saturday morning expecting to get a voicemail only to have my call taken! Brad was empathetic and said he could move my appointment up so that could be taken care of. Brad did everything he said he would do on the Groupon and more! While my last HVAC guy never bothered to inspect why the hot/cold air distribution in the home was so uneven despite pleading with him to make it better, Brad found where the dampers were closed and jammed and worked hard to free them allowing for a more even flow! I seriously cannot emphasize how happy I am about this. Thanks a million Brad! You've exceeded my expectations and you certainly have earned the spot as my new HVAC rockstar! BZs Comfort Air - Some of the gunk that came out of my vents during the vent cleaning. - Home Cleaning Near Me

We had BZ's Comfort Air clean out our air ducts prior to purchasing our new home because Groupon said it was on the up and up. They did a great job (initially). Communication was great. They even suggested recharging the air conditioning in our new home for a fee while they were at it, so we did of course. Like anything else, homes need maintenance and we found out our A/C went bad shortly after. Time for a new one. BZ's was there to help! Here's where things went bad...at the time of the AC install, Brad tells us that the rebate process can be a real pain in the butt. We kind of thought that was odd. Keep in mind we just paid them almost $3,000...this was August of 2016...at the time we didn't care about a rebate. We just wanted to have A/C in our new home. Didn't even think about it. No big deal. Well, a year has now passed. We still haven't received our rebate from Excel thanks to BZ's Comfort Air. We've probably called him 4x in the last 12 months. Not a single returned call. Excel Energy is holding our $400 rebate because Brad couldn't answer a simple question on the appropriate form. They won't allow another contractor to resolve the issue either. In the big picture it's not really about $400...it's about having integrity. If you're going to hire somebody...do you really want someone who's only going to return your calls when it benefits THEM? I'm not even sure I'd get a phone call returned if our air broke down at this point. If you're only looking for upfront work...I guess I would suggest using BZ's Comfort Air. If you're looking for follow up/maintenance work...I can't say I'd say the same. Haven't had a phone call returned since writing the $3,000 check. I bought the Groupon for basic duct cleaning service. I called to set up the appointment, and Brad gave me pricing for the upgrades, but only because I asked. He wasn't trying to pressure me, but I knew I would probably upgrade because the ducts were very dirty. On the morning of my appointment, Brad called to ask if he could move my appointment up. What the heck, I would have most of my day free if he came by early, so I said yes. He went right to work when he arrived. As I showed him all the vents in the house, I upgraded to the mid-level service. Brad was done in about an hour, even though he scheduled two hours for the appointment. My house is only 940 square feet, so that probably helped. I couldn't believe how much cleaner the vents were after he finished...they looked almost new! I highly recommend BZ's Comfort Air, and will certainly tell my friends about my great experience. read more

We have been impressed time and time again with BZ air. Brad has been working with us for seems like 7 years or so now. Our furnace broke down and he was quick to get someone to our house and get it fired back up. We will continue using his services until he retires on us. read more

BZ's Comfort Air in Maple Grove MN; The only reason I say 2 stars is not because he didn't do a good job. The vents were a mess and they are clean. My problem was that I had bought a groupon for $109, for ducts and furnace cleaning. I had talked with them before they came out, I let him know I had the groupon. We discussed the three options. Mine was the lower package, there was a better cleaning which was around $200 and a top of the line one which was around $300. When he got there I decided on package #2, one step up from mine. In the end he charged me $180, package #2. Well it wasn't until the next day I remembered paying $109 for the groupon. So I paid a total of $289. I called him, left a message asking to explain why the groupon was not honored. I never got a return call. So I was ripped off the $109, really SUCKS!!! read more

If I could give 10 stars I would. We hired him to do a furnace tune up last Wednesday (9/23) and I was so impressed that I scheduled a duct cleaning and A/C tuneup that same day for the following week. He was able to come back today (9/30). He showed up today right on time, so bright and cheery. He was very clear about what he was going to do and what to expect. I asked endless questions and he was happy to answer every one of them. He was very thorough and so clean for such a dirty/dusty job. The price was more than reasonable for everything. We had BZ's over on Friday. The gentleman was polite, on time, and very professional. We had a Groupon for Furnace and AC tune up, as well as ducts. We upgraded to have him use the brush also. Our A/C stopped working this week. After looking a little at reviews for local businesses we opted to use BZ Comfort Air. They responded to my email promptly and were able to send out a technician the same day. He arrived within the timeframe given, was very friendly, worked quickly and was knowledgable- explained everything he was checking/doing. Price seemed very fair for what we were expecting. Their reviews are consistently great for a reason so I'll just echo what everyone else has already stated- quick, dependable, fair service. I did the living social $39 Basic Duct Cleaning. Hidden info. It's only air pressure and not brushed. The brushed is additional $80+ The Service guys never sealed or covered other vents which creates excess dust outside the vents and floor now dusty. I asked them about it and they said not needed. They said they are not a member of the NADCA National Air Duct Cleaners Association and does not follow their guidelines. Will not use again. read more

We just had these guys do our Furnace, A/C, Water Heater and install a garage heater...I cannot say enough good things about these guys!!! They are polite, clean, friendly..oh and they do FABULOUS work!!! They make sure everything is done correctly, no short cuts here!!! And their prices are just unbelievable.
