Took my car for a vacuum leak and one sensor change and they charged well over $350 for it. Parts are $35 each and got 3 parts which equals $105 therefore the difference is on labor for an easy quick fix. They kept my car for two days and now that I have it back my car now trembles when on drive, something it never did before. They want me to go back but for what if I cannot even trust them anymore. Came in today for my wife's vehicle AC was not working. Little description of malfunction; While turn on her vehicle and the AC,. cold air was coming out from vents. However, while driving about 20 to 30 minutes driving in our community from Fontana, Rialto, and city of San Bernardino. Hot air was coming out from vehicle vents. At that point I'm really got nervous and started asking family members advices (NOT GOOD). Not a good idea to listen other people advice and doing your own self mechanic, without any knowledge. So at this point I was looking for honest mechanic, he will not take advantage of my family or any other customers. Who may trying overcharged arm and leg just on fixing minor or major mechanical issues. That's when blessing of god and a open window of a Church brother Ortiz and brother Santana, who they recommend me to C & C auto repairs shop and also to asked for Cesar (father), or Ivan (Son). When I arrived they both received me with open arms and with respectfully. Both Cesar and Ivan gave me good customer service. Caesar and Ivan asking a few questions regarding malfunction on AC . I came in for a repair and was asked to write down my number in order to receive a call when my car was ready for pick up. I picked my car up and left. Later the same night at around 10PM, I received a text from one of the employees asking me out, which was already wildly unprofessional and made me extremely uncomfortable. When I did not reply he proceeded to harass me by texting me disgusting slurs, as well as follow up inappropriate texts the next morning. I could not recommend this business to anyone. read more

I drove around after going to a local jiffy lube that made me wait over an Hr. for nothing... but I came across C&C and made a quick decision to stop and he took me in right away for an oil change that is costing me 30$ less than jiffy lube and he included the tire rotation for free... I'm so glad I stoped by and I'm apologizing now for coming in as u where closing the shop but thanks for taking me in and making me comfortable by turning on the AC too ... Came into the shop because we had a small electrical issue for the brake light switch. Both of the guys were great and very helpful. They charged us a affordable price and we felt very comfortable throughout the process. It took about 45 mins. They even offered to glue some side molding of ours for free. Throughout the service more ppl kept coming in but they just communicated with us that they are getting our issue fixed. I definitely recommend them and would come back for any issue I have. I finally feel like we found an honest auto repair shop. We came from san Bernardino but it was worth it for the customer service, cleanliness, and overall atmosphere at the shop. read more

I came in to do check engine lights on and so I can smog check the car. Spends $500 on changing 3 sensors, tune up, clean air intake and lights still on and can't pass smog check. I left the car for one day to be fixed and an empty promise all I got. The engine light is on again!! Left the place and I went to another place, I had another mechanic work on the car, another diagnostic, change catalytic converter and another tune up. Pass the smog check and no engine lights on. What a wasted time and money to spend on. Never coming back and NOT recommended. read more

This is a continuance review of my original Midas review as my adventures of finding an honest mechanic comes to an end. After leaving George's Shell Repair shop, I gave a friend a ride over to the "candy shop" in the area and ended up walking across the lot to inquire about pricing on getting my truck repaired. First off, let me say that with the representatives at Midas, Pep Boys, and George's Shell Repair, none were straight forward or even seemed to care after they were dismissed with their outrageous prices, but the owner (seen in the photo) got right to the point after stopping what he was doing and checking out the sounds my truck was making. He gave me a straight answer getting right to the point, said it could be one of three things regarding my coil. When I asked how much he would charge me for the diagnostic's test, he said $25...did you get that? T.W.E.N.T.Y.-F.I.V.E-D.O.L.L.A.R.S!!! Not only is that less than Midas ($54), Pep Boys ($90), and George's Shell ($129), but he said he'd waive it if I chose to go on with the repairs. W.O.W...are you in awe yet? Well since my truck is my only source of transportation, I knew I planned on getting it fix, I'm just really glad that I took a chance and walked over. In the end, he pulled out all six of my coils to illustrate his findings, he pointed out exactly what the problem was and which ones needed to be replaced. In case, your curiosity is like mines, I ended up needing to replace 2. The best part about this situation was how nice and honest he was. Not too many mechanics are considerate towards females, I can tell by the way they talk to me or their body language as if being dismissed based solely on my sex. It didn't take long after the parts arrived and he only charged me for parts plus $75 for labor...not too many places would do that. I'm a straight forward type of person and I expect it from who I come in contact with. If mechanics are dismissive in the beginning, like the vibes I picked up from the other three repair shops, and the prices are high, yet they're not willing to meet you half way, than I'm glad I didn't just settle because I'd hate to see what they would charge for parts and labor, especially if their diagnostic's test cost more than what I ended up paying to get my truck to be repaired! It pays to do your homework...lol I'll definitely be coming back, hopefully my next experience will be a 5 star review. I will never take my car here again. This is a very unethical shop. I took my car in because it did not start. They charged me a diagnostic fee which they said would be rolled into the labor cost if it was fixed there. It was not rolled in. Secondly, he showed me the old battery which was a AAA battery under warranty in big red letter with the date that it was still valid under the warranty. They never mentioned it over the phone and it took me to see it and asked they why they did not tell me it was still under warranty. They said it was not their job to tell me. Sure they offered me to take the battery out and reimburse the battery but still charge he labor which probably should not been done in the first place. This was my first time here because my regular mechanic was too busy. I will never do business with this place again. Customers of this establishment beware. You need to make sure you tell them that you want to see all the damaged parts replaced. The funny part about this experience is that Cesar the owner said openly he could have taken me for more money. I will be filing a complaint with BBB as well. read more

Went in to check my back right tire . It was making a really bad clanking sound. Turns out my caliber was going out and my brakes were moving around freely . NOT GOOD. Owner of the business fixed everything that was wrong in less than 2 hours and also fixed my cigarete lighter and sunroof in a matter of minutes . Very knowledgeable and know exactly what they were doing . Family owned business , very friendly people and will definatly go back whenever I have mechanical problems . Highly recommended ! read more
