I don't usually have 5 star reviews but felt I needed to do one for the C&C family for the work done on my car. First off I've been a car enthusiast ever since I've been driving cars and after my recent accident I was truly heart broken over the sight of my car. That's how much I love cars and taking care of them. After some research and recommendations I decided to go with C&C even though I live 40 miles away. From day 1 to week 3 these guys went above and beyond of any body shop I've ever had experience with. I wouldn't call these guys a regular "body shop" they are more of a body shop for car enthusiasts. Rett and Nathan really know what they are doing and are probably the most honest in this business. They will truly care about your car and explain the whole process to you as they are doing it. Nicollete is like a big Sis watching out for you and also keeping you updated on the progress of the repair. As Much as my accident sucked the good thing out of it was meeting these guys for future work for my car (hopefully not for an accident) but for custom work which they specialize in. Long story short my car came back to me just as good as new and I could not be happier with the quality of the paint job and finish. These guys take pride in their work and it shows from how I got my car back. We really need more shops like this!! There is a reason why you see this business with a 5 star rating, it they excel at their job. My boyfriend brought his car (2004 RSX-S) here after he got into an accident. From my point of view i saw the car before the accident, after the accident, and then the after the final repairs. His car was not beat up but there was chips and marks here and there. After the accident it was a mess. The front passenger door would not open and there the whole front right corner area of his car was damage. After the repairs, the exterior looked perfect like it just came out of the factory back in 2004. The paint was spectacular, they blended the whole car so it would look flushed. My boyfriend brought the car home and I remember him staring at it for a good 10 minutes, just admiring the clean work. As for the interior mechanics, he said there was no issue and everything was perfect. The alignment was done and no complaints there from him. They even went above and beyond to fix other areas of his car. He mentioned Nicolette (the receptionist?) was fantastic to work with. She coordinated everything from the pick up to the take home part. She was organized in updating every step of the repair process and was a perfect channel to the mechanics if there was anything else needed for the car. I had taken my previous car in to them a few years earlier and had a good experience, so when my car was hit I knew I neefed to go back to them to fix my new car. This place is the best! I've had numerous cars worked on here and my entire family along with friends bring their cars here after an accident. I also know they do great work on custom cars as well but my experience has been only w/ accident repairs. My first experience was in 2000 and I will never go anywhere else. Accidents suck. A lady decided that slamming into my Mazda Miata was the best thing to do with her Saturday afternoon. After dealing with her, insurance, and the police officers that showed up to get a report, I was pretty annoyed. However, the next call I made was to Nicolette at C&C Collision and she made this terrible process one of the most enjoyable business transactions I've had to deal with. She took care of the towing, called the other lady's insurance company for me, got me into a rental car as soon as possible, and did an amazing job of keeping me up to date on the car as it went from smashed to beautiful again. I dealt with both Rett and Nathan as the repair took place, who both took the time to explain the work they were doing, assured me they were using only Mazda parts and they even aligned my car to the custom specs I wanted. Quite possibly the friendliest business I've ever had to deal with. Once the car was done, I stopped by the shop and they took the time to go over the work done, explain the warranty coverage on all the work they did (as long as I own the car! No worries!), and then walked around the car with me to show me how amazing it looked. I honestly couldn't tell it had such extensive repairs looking through it. I really hope I don't have to go through another accident again, but if I do, C&C Collision is the ONLY place I'd call or bring my car to. I came to C&C back in July last year when my Acura TSX was hit by a careless driver. I have never had an insurance claim in the 14 years I had been driving, so I was a little unsure of what to do. Everything was taken care of by the crew at C&C. The only thing I had to do was make my claim with my insurance company. My favorite things about C&C are: No body shop bs dates. (I have had another car repainted by a different body shop, and my wife's car was in an insurance claim with a different shop) I hate how at other shops they give you 1 or sometimes 2 "finished by" dates. So you move all appointments to make the day available to pick up your car, only to find out they aren't finished yet. At c&c they waited to give me the correct ready date. My other favorite (at this is one of my biggest pet peeves) they put everything back exactly how it's supposed to be, and they paint parts off the car so you don't get overspray. I HATE OVERSPRAY. IMO there is nothing worse than taking your car to a body shop, only to have it come back with overspray that wasn't there in the first place. Whenever I refer my friends to c&c this is one of the first reasons I tell them to go here. Lastly they make your car look brand new, and (at least in my case) they use OEM parts and make things fit. This is something I discussed with Rett before I left the shop. I have seen cars where the parts didn't fit properly because aftermarket parts were used. I wanted to make sure OEM parts were used on the car. He explained how they use what the insurance company pays for, but they make sure the parts fit, or they exchange/modify the parts as needed, until it looks factory. Well he was right, everything came back looking like it was straight from the factory. I am very happy with the work done at c&c and plan to take my Integra restoration back to have the car painted. C&C has tremendous admiration from me. I first dealt with Nathan more than ten years ago. I bought a Porsche 911 and wanted to make it "mine." So, I got a Carrera Cup kit and needed to have the panels painted to match the bad-ass arctic silver color of the car. Nathan and C&C handled it, and made my Porsche the "silver bullet" I'd wanted as a kid. Fast-forward to modern day. My Lexus GS350 FSport had It's rear bumper and trunk restyled by my fiancée. Having the fantastic experience of dealing with C&C in the yonder years, I knew they'd make the Lex as good as new. And they did. If you're in the San Gabriel Valley, fresh from an accident, send your ride to C & C. Till now this is my favorite place! My car got a big scratch and wanted to have it fixed. Rett helped me and gave me many very practical suggestions. He saw some small paintings from some previous scratches and volunteered to help me remove them FOR FREE! It was fantastic and all the nasty colors were completely gone! Well, let me start off by saying that I hope I never have to come here again... because that probably means I was involved in another accident. My beautiful BMW was rear ended by a semi-truck (at low speeds) while traveling on the freeway. The "idiot" (I REFUSE to refer to him by any other name) changed lanes without looking and caused quite a bit of damaged to my vehicle. My insurance company sent a tow truck out to the scene immediately and offered to take it to one of their "authorized facilities" for vehicle collision repair. Not knowing any better, I agreed. I was uncomfortable from the moment I got there... I was unfamiliar with the facility, as well as the neighborhood. After signing a few documents, I went home and looked up the yelp reviews on that "authorized" repair facility. 1.5 Stars... Ah, hell no! Needless to say, I got my car outta there as quickly as possible. Luckily, the "authorized" facility hadn't touched my vehicle yet... so it was fairly easy to switch shops. That's where C & C collision came in. When I stepped foot inside their shop / office... I just KNEW I had come to the right place. Nicolette took care of me from the beginning and reassured me that my car would be repaired to pre-accident condition or better when they were done with it. That's exactly what I wanted to hear at the time. I also walked around the shop and noticed a lot of high-end vehicles being worked on... Some for collisions... Some for customizations (I actually found out about this place through a car enthusiasts forum, before checking yelp btw). The only downside, if any, is... because they are so well known and do such great work (and based on my results, i'd argue "amazing" work), they do tend to get very busy at times. My repairs took a little bit longer than expected... but in the end, it was well worth the wait. They went waaaaay out of their way to make sure that I was a happy customer (hence, my rating). They didn't cut any corners either... They repaired and replaced everything exactly as they said they would. When I finally got my car back, it looked like it had just rolled off the showroom floor -- No joke. In short, this place is well known for the quality of their work and guarantees all of their repairs for life. If you want it done right... then this is the place to come to. If you're on a tight budget and prefer some "back alley" shop that will cut corners and charge you a few hundred bucks... then this is probably not the place for you. I've been a customer of theirs for over 7 years. Started with an aero kit installation on a 911. Quality = fabulous. In the following years I have gone back for work on my other cars, which include other Porshces, a Maserati, and the latest my Lexus hybrid (I know this doesn't speak well for my driving habits). As a lifelong car enthusiast, these guys do phenomenal bodywork. A woman hit my car and they replaced the trunk, repainted both rear quarter panels, and had the rear bumper remanufactured. The paint work came out excellent, matched the color of the car perfectly, and had no orange peel whatsoever. I would absolutely take my car back here again. WOW! From the moment I called them, I knew they were something different! First and foremost, the people at C&C are the absolute nicest you could ever hope for. I dropped my Lexus off before a long vacation, and they made sure to call me while I was in Italy when they discovered some changes. No hidden surprises! In fact, they refunded me $150 because they said it simply wouldn't be worth it do some work the insurance company requested, as it would make the car look worse, due to some previously poorly done body work. Great shop...I have been going to them for about 11yrs. Owners are really on top of things and they go above and beyond to make sure your car is taken care of. Excellent, honest, and extremely thorough body shop with great communication and professional, caring staff! I called Blake literally every day and he was always knowledgeable about the current status of my car, patient, and very professional. Edith also got me the paperwork quickly via email. I never had to physically go to the shop. I got in an accident and chose this shop thanks to the great Yelp reviews, and I can confirm everyone else's experiences in that this is where you want to take your car if you care about getting the best possible repair, for a reasonable price. Once Insurance gets their paperwork together and these guys can start, they're very fast considering how thorough they are. And diligence in the repair is what you want when you consider that your life is at stake once you start driving the car again after the repair. Keep in mind that because they are so thorough, the estimate will be higher than your average fly-by-your-pants shop that just wants to get your money and have someone working on the car for the least amount of time possible while keeping your car (and charging the insurance for daily storage) for as long as possible. I'd rather feel that my car's safety features will perform as intended if I happen to get into another accident again. Also, with repairs from other shops that don't cover everything that could've been slightly damaged, you will run into problems with those parts months or years in the future which will cause bigger problems that YOU will have to pay for because Insurance didn't pay for it when it was first repaired (ex: something as easy-to-miss as a slightly damaged A/C condenser line). read more

I took my car to C & C because not only are they a fellow Alhambra business but they have been our go-to repair company for quite some time. My car was there over 25 days due to some lack of communication on my own insurance's part but Nicolette kept me updated with their internal progress via text, emails and phone calls. Not only did they assist me with the rental car process and dealing with my claim handler they stayed on top of it so I didn't have to. (The text communication made things SO easy) I picked up my "brand new" vehicle yesterday on time as they promised and it was beautiful. These guys are in a league of their own in car repair. I would never take my car anywhere else. Not only the repairs and the color matching are flawless, they can do near to impossible repairs because they use the very latest equipment for car repair. Also, they specialize in restoration, fabrication, and customization of exotic collectable cars which takes real talent and skill. All of the cars that I've seen in their shop are super expensive luxury cars. I even saw two brand new Spikers in one occasion flown in from another country to do some customizations, and that's not a joke! I saw the final result; it was amazing! Their new location is wonderful, and even more spacious than their old location in Pasadena! I love how close they are to Costco, it's awesome to shop while getting my car looked at. C&C is just top notch from my recent experience. I have been to many well known auto body shops within the SGV, and I have never been more pleased with the fit and finish. Being an automotive enthusiast, I pay attention to detail. I spent over 30min going over the work preformed by C&C in search of hiccups, but to no avail. What completed the five stars for me was definitely the CUSTOMER SERVICE. I was received with an absolute warm welcome by Nicolette. This is by far the best body shop I've ever been to. Nathan and Nicolette couldn't be anymore helpful. I had to bring in my 2012 Lexus CT200h (white) because a car tapped my rear bumper. I have a Tom's rear lip that was damaged in the accident and Nathan took the extra effort to fix it and made it fit even better than it did before. I had the unfortunate situation of getting into a major accident. Took my car to Nathan and his team at C&C again. Insurance came back with their estimate and Nathan gave me the "boots on the ground" assessment saying I should request a full tear-down, because he believed the vehicle should've been deemed a total loss when the insurance was simply trying to get it repaired. I spoke to the insurance with the advice given to me, and after the full tear-down, the insurance changed course and totaled the car. Saving me from driving a car that would never be "same" again. Once the documentation was done, Nathan also advised me to thoroughly review the total loss paperwork. Upon this, I found out my insurance had put in the wrong mileage on the paperwork. This was taking about $2500 in value off my car. Nathan and his team are the ultimate professionals. Can't say enough about the high quality service that we received at C&C today! We came in today for a bumper repair quote after being quoted $1000+ dollars from other businesses in the area. We talked with a business partner for C&C who surprisingly also did the inspection. He asked us do we have 20 mins, and asked us for the key. Next thing we know, he comes back with a repaired bumper saving us hundreds/thousands of dollars! We also received excellent advice on auto insurance companies(Triple AAA) was suggested as being a great insurance company when it comes to auto insurance claims and doing business with auto shops. The character with this shop is 2nd to none. Completely refreshing to go to a business that did not try to take advantage of customers. High character folks here. I needed to have my rear bumper fixed because someone hit my car at work, and of course, they did not leave a note. So, I had to find a body shop that I could trust and that would meet my budget since I was not submitting a claim to my insurance. I visited a number of body shops for estimates, and was fortunate to encounter Nathan at C & C Collision. The estimate he gave me met my budget, and he made sure I was well informed on the work that was going to be performed on my car. I took my car on Monday, 7-31 at 11 am, and it was ready Wednesday, 8-2 at 2 pm. My car looked beautiful, and I could not see where the damage was. They also went out of their way to fix a ding I had on my driver's side door. I definitely recommend this shop, and please ask for Nathan. He is definitely an asset to this company, he conducts himself in a professional manner, and assures that you are going to receive the highest quality of service. Hands down the best customer service I have ever experienced. A piece of medal flew at me on highway last month. After waiting 10 days for insurance company to come out and inspected. C and C had my car in their shop in 3 hours after my first call to them and explained my frustration. Nicolette was so understanding and did everything she can to help to avoid my rental exceed the 30 days limit. Great place, really comfortable inside, important when you are going through every college guys dread of paying 500 dollars on something other than a ps3 and HDTV. They told me the facts, they could use touch up paint, explained as "like using your sisters honda civic silver lipstick on the car". How they know i have a club kid sister, i dont know. Anyway, I came here because I care about my car and wanted the damage to look non existant. (3-6 inch tear in my back bumper). Long story short they took my gas cover to get the paint right, removed my back bumper, so it looked like I was crazy on the streets for a few days. And, i do mean, a few days. they were able to successfully rebuild my back bumper in three days tops, even got me a new "EX" model sticker SCHWING! read more
