I had a very concerning experience at Olivehurst Food Center. This was my first time shopping there…read moreand also my first time using my newly activated credit card. Shortly after making my purchase, I noticed suspicious activity on my card. Unauthorized charges began appearing almost immediately after I used it at this store. Because of this, I had to contact my bank and file a police report. I also reported the situation to the store, but the entire experience has left me feeling extremely uneasy. I cannot say for certain how my information was compromised, but the timing is very concerning. Please be cautious if you choose to shop here and monitor your accounts closely. I personally will not be returning.

I haven't had any issues in the last year or two... but here we are, again. Despite the amount of money it is, it's the principle. I speak only for the workers in the evening as this is the only time I've ever been in. The two men who work in the evenings are very dishonest. I'm giving two stars ONLY for 1- the convenience of the location and 2- the wide selection. Tonight I stopped in, picked up one item, and went up to pay. I paid cash. The cashier told me my total, I gave him my amount said NOTHING after handing me my change. I asked for a receipt, he gave it to me, I spent a moment putting the change in my purse, and walked out. In that exact order. One I get to my vehicle I check the receipt and see a bag charge. I did not ask for a bag, nor did he offer. The CA bag charge is ridiculous enough in my opinion, so if I am charged for a bag.. I want the dang bag! So I went back in with my receipt and said "since you charged me for a bag, can I get that bag??" he said "I asked you if you wanted one and you walked off. Alright dude, do not lie to me. Number 1- You ABSOLUTELY did not. I was 100% paying attention to everything in my semi-immediate surrounding, including you, especially in that area. You did no such thing! Number 2- Even if that was the case, which is wasn't, he rang me up, took my cash, and gave me my change. So when he supposedly "asked if I wanted a bag", I had already paid and he had ALREADY charged me for one. They are faced with an overwhelming number of unhoused people who make the parking lot a mess. But the inside of the store is very clean and the customer service is amazing!
