Even with county and state issued order and big signs outside the front door that says you must have a face mask. More than 90% of the customers do not have face masks on. Most employees do but not the customers. The lack of enforcing county and state mandates are in place for the safety of all!!! they could care less! I would give them a zero if I could.

I usually shop here because they are reasonable. While checking out we get bags from our clerk and we start bagging our groceries. Before we finish our transaction we were going to need more bags. He hands me these dirty white bags off his floor. So I walk to the self check out and ask for some more bags from her. She turns towards me and starts asking me how I paid? I don't care how I paid I need bags. This blonde haired older woman wearing her blue sweater walks up to the cashier asking him. Sorry but I'm a paying customer and would like more bags. This place is ridiculous I will not shop here anymore and I will convince everyone I know to not shop there also. Very rude customer service!!!! I would have paid for extra bags if she would have just asked. Not worried about how I paid.

dogs allowed in this store. ugh.

Kids walking a dog in the store. dog barking. this isn't a service animal and the entire family should have been kicked out, but wasn't because the employees told me they are scared to get fined for asking if it's a service dog. ridiculous and rude.

    Ummmm...

None of their employees wear masks and they don't make their customers follow the current CDC guidelines.

So, I looked up grocery stores in Marysville on Yelp. Save Mart seemed like a significant name in grocery, so I called. The customer service desk phone rang & rang. No answer, got automatically returned to main phone message listing departments and associated numbers. Took ten minutes and a few calls to get someone. They could had to ask a co-worker if they carried the BEP, found out they do, but said they were slammed and couldn't check. I found them as soon as I walked to the frozen veggie aisle. I picked up a few more things, walked right up to the register and was paid up and out in a hurry. Must have hit a lull. Everyone was friendly and chatty. Clean store, fresh veggies. Very happy they had those frozen black eye peas.

Love their fruits and veggies. I like the artichokes with the long stem as that is how they are served in Italy! Bought some fruits and veggies and some samosas and salads. I also picked up a nice bottle of wine ( used to be a wine club member at Wise Villa). They didn't have Picanha meat which is why I went in there and then remembered the Chico location carries it! Super friendly cashier! Indoor and outside casual seating. DOG friendly outside seating area. Ps. Their coffee ordering area is always very busy!

Their prices on grass fed meats are reasonable, their sushi is excellent, and the deli is always delicious. I also love that they have a small seating area if you want to eat there. The bathrooms are clean (which says a lot), and the staff is genuinely friendly every time I'm there. They offer an impressive selection of essential oils and natural remedies, and their organic produce isn't overpriced. It's clear they care about quality, health, and the customer experience. If you're looking for real food, clean ingredients, and a place that actually feels good to shop in, New Earth Market is it.

Located in Marysville right next door to a dollar store along the train tracks, it reminded me of the El Torito markets now gone from where I lived in Leucadia (coastal San Diego). Nobody had recommended it to me. I didn't look up the reviews. I just parked and went in on a hunch for lunch. The place is bright, neat and clean. The staff is friendly, attentive and helpful. There is a window to order food next to a small, quiet in-store dining area. I ordered a carne asada torta to go. The bun was fresh and aromatic. The beef was good, not over-seasoned and topped with lots of onions, a slice of red tomato that was actually red, and perfectly ripe avocado slices -- all for just over $10. There is a separate counter for bulk catering orders, and a separate meat counter (carneceria) where the fresh meats are neatly presented. A small fresh vegetable cooler is practically curated. There are a few shelves of canned goods as well. There are coolers with drinks, though I couldn't find my favorite Sidral apple soda which is my beverage of choice at my favorite Mexican food restaurant, Karina's which is still in business on coast highway in Leucadia. But that was not worth complaining about because I found a bottle of tasty mango soda instead. The restroom was spotless with rapid hot water at the sink (a rarity in restaurants of any ilk) and ample paper towels. This kind of service and presentation does not happen by accident. It is obvious that ownership and staff take great pride in their business. Nothing trendy or exotic here, but if you're hungry for straightforward Mexican meat, beans, rice, chips, tortillas or chicharrones, and you are anywhere near the center of Central California, El Torero is the place to go.
