Unfortunately, the spare tire wasn't tightened (Which I didn't realize). I stopped twice on my way home to double check to be sure I didn't have a second flat tire. I only drove the car home that Saturday, and my husband drove it Monday morning to have the tire replaced. It didn't go any other place. My husband also thought he had a flat. When we took it to be replaced, the service tech sent us a video of how loose the tire was. Well, the loose tire damaged the tire studs. We had to pay $406 to have new tire rods put on. We have a video showing the loose tire, an invoice from the service department saying the damage was from the spare tire not being tightened. AAA and Lifta refuse to reimburse us for the $406. Sad that the tech was so nice, but this is terrible service.

The operator last night was threatening, rude, a liar, and dismissive. $95.00 admin fee, $242.00 tow from Florence to Erlanger, and a 5% processing fee (even though some was paid in cash). The operator towed from a parking lot last night at 1am. While towing, an employee that was parked in an incorrect spot, the operator was threatening, rude, and dismissive. The operator while carrying a gun on his side talked down to an employee who was just trying to gather information and process what was happening. When asking basis questions of how much, where to go, and when can I come pick it up, the operator made comments like, "Get away from the car or I have the right to defend myself." "And this car is mine, until you pay for it." Told the employee it would be $100. Call the customer service this morning and Maddie answers the phone. She does not know what she is allowed and not allowed to do, when offering payment suggestions. Apologies for the operator but is unwilling to discount the outrageous amount of money to compensate for the operator's rudeness. Lastly would not provide the name of the operator to report him for threatening behavior with a firearm. After dealing with an operator and customer service representative, Sherry spoke as the manager on-site to see if grace could be given for the situation at hand. Her idea of grace is waiving a storage fee (the vehicle was there for less than 6 hours) and allowing someone other than the owner of the vehicle to make a payment. She threatens to charge storage if we cannot pay in full today, does not apologize for her operator's behavior, and falsely claims the owner of the vehicle is the only person that can pay for discharging the vehicle, with the owner there giving consent. It is upsetting when you have your car towed for something you know you did wrong. However, Smith Towing had the option to be transparent, polite, knowledgeable, and customer friendly and choose to do the opposite of all 4 qualities. I will be calling the police to ensure all the operators have concealed carry permits and I will be suggesting Jabil/Crane use a different tow truck company in the future. Do not provide this company with another opportunity to treat people's car like a ransom.

I stopped by Steele's today around 3:00 pm after trying to replace my brakes myself. I was able to…read morereplace the fronts, but the rear brakes ended up giving me a problem getting the rotor off. I used several techniques to remove it, but was uneasy being too aggressive as it's my primary transportation. Once I described my issue, we discussed what might be keeping the rotor from coming off which I had already researched and satisfied I did everything I knew how to. To my surprise, they were able to get my 2020 Grand Cherokee in that afternoon as it was pretty busy. I left believing that it would be next day before it would be completed. I appreciated the conversation we had about possible issues with the E-Brake which is beyond just the brake replacement and possible additional cost. I didn't care at that point as I had enough messing with it! I received a call around 4:45 pm that same day my Jeep was ready to pickup. Turned out the rotor just took more force to knock it loose than I was willing to apply. Not only did they complete the repair same day, it was much less than expected.
