The last three times I hired c and d taxi because it's always safe and I was a loyal customer I've been late to all three appointments and waited over an hour and 20 minutes to be picked up after being in the hospital a week. And today I due am beyond words after I called three hours ahead scheduled pick up and then after fifteen minutes late made a second call and then at 40 minutes late made a third call in which I was told she was about to pull up at my residence but I just cancelled finally now that fifteen minutes more I have unfortunately missed something that was priority. C d taxi is late often but they do come and are safe, helpful, cheap price. Downtown to Kroger for 7.40. I did time calls and seldom had any problems. The driver was friendly and non smoking. They are open 7x24x365 days a year. read more

Unfortunately this place has a contract with Ohio Health Mansfield. Hospital, which is probably the only (I really hope that will be ending soon if I have anything to do with it) As I waited for over 5 hours for the taxi to come (I was quoted an hour and a half max.) I discussed with the personnel and the management about how horrible they are. After 8 days of being in the hospital I was obviously ready to go home. Ohio Health called probably no less than six times asking what the holdup was. When the cab finally did arrive, it was an old beat up Volkswagen with a temporary tag and every single light on the dash was on. The car had over 200,000 miles on it, the driver said his window did not roll down and you could smell the muffler and emissions. Knowing that I was angry, the driver proceeded to tell me he was late for work today that someone else had to drive him, and then they had to go to McDonald's where the cab car was sitting and his boss had to go with him to get gas. This was all why I was waiting from the sound of it they did not even have a driver available. The car jumped out of gear 3 or 4 times and did not want to shift and I honestly did not think we were even going to make it to my house. Along the ride the driver also used his cell phone to take a personal call which is illegal in Ohio. I really hope the folks at OhioHealth keep their word and get this contract canceled. Don't waste your time, there are plenty of Uber and Lyft drivers that will be on time and will be in safe vehicles. This company does not even need to be on the road, it was the worst experience ever with this kind of company. read more

Wow! Just Wow! These people do not care about their image amongst the community!!! My car broke down and needed to get my grandson to work. Took them just under 2 hours to pick him up and another 30 minutes to get outside the Mansfield City Limits, plus charged us $40 for the trip! The most unpredictable and unfriendly people, and rude as all hell, and wonder why they don't make any money, they care more about doing drugs then actually doing a job. It's really not that hard to answer phones, pick up people and take them to their destination. Yeah, a minute doesn't really tell a person how long they're going to be. A minute is only 60 seconds. I'd give them no stars honestly. My bf called and made a reservation for a week to be picked up at 545 am. Day 1 we called three times and driver came at 625 and he was late to work. Day two driver called at 7am, day three driver called at 10 am and say four and 5 he never called day 6 he called at 630 so I'm bf called to cancel and the operator hung up on him. The driver was here within 15 minutes of my call. He was pleasant and helpful. On my return trip, he had to wait on me at the groceries store, he put all my bags in the cab, and then arriving at home he helped me get them in the house and he only charged me the regular fare. There are 4 trash cans sitting in front of that apartment building - literally! There is NO reason to be a lazy azz, it would take 30 seconds to throw their trash in a can. The guy driving the silver minivan is an absolute jerk... he was sitting at a stop sign so I waited behind him and he started waving his arms out the window telling me to go around him, as I went around him I could hear him screaming at me out his window so I rolled my window down and said pardon me? he started yelling at me that he was "trying to conduct some business" and to "just get yo ass movin". I actually would prefer to give them No stars! One of their drivers rear ended an elderly friend of mine of February 14, 2019. She pleaded guilty to failing to stop in a clear distance that she had. My friend received a letter from C&Ds insurance on March 26, 2019. The driver, Laurie Howell, And the taxi car she was driving was Not insured at the time of the accident. Laurie Howell insists that she's insured on her daughter's insurance policy but they refuse to provide the information. She and C&D have placed my elderly friend in a HORRIBLE financial problem. He now has to pay a deductible just to get his car fixed if they decide not to total it. He does not have the money. He has been unable to go to the grocery store, doctors appointments or to the pharmacy to get life saving medicines!! C&D and Laurie Howell do not care one bit. Stay away from them!! If you use them, make sure the insurance Is active before you allow them to take you anywhere. They are a sleazy taxi company!! read more

Called 2 hours in advance to have my girlfriend picked up for work at 4:40. She has to be there at 5, i thought this was reasonable enough notice to be on time so she wouldn't be late. We made other plans with a coworker for her to get picked up anyways because they've never shown up within an hour of when they say. 5:15 comes and i give them a call acting as if we were still relying on their service. They said that the driver should be here soon. I told him she was fired from work to see what his reply would be and he said, "thanks for your business, call us next time you need a ride" and hung up. Never call these people. They should close down shop and think about better things to do with their time. But definitely not another business, you dont have any customer service, nor do you actually provide a service.
