We stayed here for the weekend & have zero regrets. Only the top floor suite accommodates children. The suite sleeps up to 5, but only one bed; two cots & a pull out bed were the other options. As for food, our burgers were a bit well done, but still delicious. The pretzel sticks with Gouda cheese were a hit. And the strawberry rhubarb wine was amazing. We can home with multiple bottles of it. And, of course, you can't forget the cheesecake. The service was a bit slower, but well worth the wait. My husband and I stopped in for a glass of wine and a charcuterie board and got to speak with the owner who is truly amazing. His staff is an attentive and make sure you feel like a king and a queen just while sitting and having a glass of wine. I didn't stay here, but I wish I hadn't stayed somewhere else. If you are in the area or are skiing at Snow Trails please stay at this place. It will not disappoint. The wine is fabulous. The staff is amazing. The breakfast was huge and delicious! I can't believe that I never visited before but I promise I will be back! Oh and if you stay there or just go for food get a piece of cheesecake with homemade whipped cream. We went for Sunday brunch. Cold eggs, potatoes were actually hard and cold. Avocado toast is not what you think! It's liquid cheese all over toast then a little strip of puréed avocado. This is a beautiful bed and breakfast in Bellevue. We didn't stay the night but dined at the restaurant after a recommendation from a friend. They offer a bar, indoor dining, or outdoor dining in igloos. We chose to dine in one of the igloos that seats 6 people. They have heaters in them to keep patrons cozy. Each igloo is decorated differently. We dined in one decorated like a little summer garden. The food was delicious. I ordered the burger. They are also known for their cheesecakes. Always a treat! The chicken salad wrap is fresh and flavorful with some big chunks of chicken. The Reuben Flatbread was crispy and tasted reubenesque. The peach sangria was light and refreshing. Reserved an igloo for a 40th birthday celebration. Food was good but some food could have been hotter, some people really loved their cheesecake others said it was just ok. The entire night ended with an appearance by a skunk which I supposed could happen but how the restaurant handled it was very disappointing and hard to believe. The skunk was outside the igloos just walking around. Then a server came out to try and gently coax it outside of the fence with a broom. This didn't work and after multiple attempts some other servers came and took selfies with the skink. We were stuck in the igloo waiting for dessert or the server to let us know what was going on. They then had a neighbor come over with a gun and did not even give any customer an option of moving away from the area. They were around 10 ft away and had to be aiming the gun in our general direction when he shot the skunk. They then shot the gun multiple times. One of the people in our party was in the military and mentioned how he was very concerned it could have ricochet towards anyone. Multiple bad decisions in this whole situation. Another member in the party was very upset and tried to talk to someone. They just looked at her and after all of that no one apologized. The whole situation was handled extremely bad. We left smelling like skunk . I feel like they could have said if you would like dessert we will package it up for you and tell us they were firing a gun in our direction read more

My food was not edible. I had the traditional breakfast and the eggs were cold and tasteless, bacon was barely cooked and cold, cold dry toast, and the potatoes tasted like they just came out of a bag with no seasoning and also cold. I got the half biscuit and gravy and it was lukewarm and is canned gravy but edible. My son loved his food which was a burger and he also had smors friend toast. Our friends also loved their food. I think mine was just a fluke that it was awful but I also don't know how anyone could mess up basic eggs and bacon. read more

I went to dinner at the Wishmaker House with a friend. It was so beautiful and the food was fantastic. We tried their seasonal Bruschetta which had strawberries and oranges on it. It was really awesome. It is something I wouldn't normally try, but I am so glad we did. I will definitely order it again. I also had a cheeseburger and their homemade chips which were also delicious. The server and the manager were both super nice, they both seemed very genuine and made sure we had a great experience. Our group of four showed up this evening without a reservation. After waiting a few minutes we were told we could sit outside in the rain at the time in an igloo. We all were very well taken care various salads and a nice bottle of wine along with the very nice local water. Very impressed with this place! We stopped here for dinner during our trip to Mansfield and loved the atmosphere. We went on a Saturday evening and enjoyed live music during dinner. Their patio is fantastic! They have a great wine selection, I loved the "Starry Night" which was a semi sweet white with citrus and peach flavors. For an appetizer we ordered the potstickers, which were delicious. For entrees we got the Tuscan Pasta, and the Pork Shank Redemption (Shawshank Redemption was filmed nearby!) and both were amazing. The fruit forward wine is usually not my preference, which Wishmaker specializes in, but I found quite a few that I enjoyed.  The two real highlights were the outstanding cheesecake and the pork shank.  The pork shank was fall off the bone tender with a fabulous sweet bourbon glaze.  It was one of the best pork dishes I have had.  The outdoor seating is charming and comfortable.  The friendly staff was attentive and very well educated about the wine and food. Update: By far my favorite winery in the area. I have discovered that the Midnight Rendezvous (grape/blackberry blend) is just perfect for me. Which is odd, because sweet wines give me a headache and as a rule and I prefer dry Cabernets...But Midnight Rendezvous somehow hits the spot between too sweet and dry and never gives me a headache. Buy a few bottles to take home is my advice (Harvest Moon is almost as good, in my opinion...but get a tasting flight and try them all). read more

Went here the other night with my fiancé and we could not have loved it more. We got lucky and were able to enjoy one of the cute igloos on a really beautiful night. They were out of all their red wines, but luckily they bring in outside wines when this happens, so we were still able to choose from a good selection. For food, we started with the cheese board which was pretty standard but good. We then split the cheese pierogi pizza, the bbq chicken pizza and the bbq Gouda Mac and cheese. All three were phenomenal! Finally, we had heard that the cheesecake was not to be missed here and that is the truth. The list of homemade options is huge but we decided on the bourbon caramel pecan and it was a showstopper. The service was great and all around we had an awesome experience. Igloo dining is all the rage right now I called and booked one of the igloos for 6 of us. It was decorated beautifully and had small heaters to take off the chill. We had exceptional service from the time we walked in the door until we walked out. Our waitress made some great recommendations on wine and food, the manager stopped by to see how everything was. Lunch in an Igloo with the kids at one of our favorite places. We came across the Wishmaker last year, we live 40 min away and have been 3 times now, twice in an igloo and once inside. Making reservations is highly recommended inside or in an Igloo. Before 4:00 there is not a minimum dollar amount to eat in one of the Igloos. After 4 there is 150.00 minimum. Igloos accommodate up to 8 people and are heated. Today we had the sun shining in so it was quite warm. Wine sales on Sunday begins sometime next month. Their Blueberry wine is the best I've ever had and sells out quickly. We had the owner pop in to see how our visit was. First impression...nice. Then greeter in a tee shirt, shorts with a backpack walked me to my seat on the patio; nice patio with music for the night. I tried to find a drink that wasn't sweet fruit juice tasting, unfortunately I couldn't. If you're looking for a cocktail, it's not here unless you want fruit juice, same with wine. Next, I ordered the steak salad entree.....5 little pieces of'filet' and dried crumbled feta. Asparagus on the salad was cooked perfectly! A third through my dinner I was asked if I wanted to see the cheesecake menu...'no'. I ended up not ordering one of the probably 25 or 30 cheesecakes since after inquisition found out they are no bake jello 'cheesecakes'...I'll pass. Then when receiving the check, I find I was charged a fee $1.69 'surcharges and was not advised ahead of time. Patio music was the only plus for me unfortunately. read more

Drove an hr to eat here due to the igloo experience because of family in town. One of the worst experiences I've ever had. The igloo was completely swamped inside and smelled like mildew. Service was terrible, the menu was awful and lacked a kids menu so we had to order them off the overpriced adult menu and they complained of still being hungry afterwards. My daughter ordered the half-chicken.. they were out of that, then we ordered her the lasagna and they came back after all of us had our food to say that it was dropped on the floor and that was the last piece. We were stuck getting her potstickers off of the appetizers and they tried to make it better by saying they were going to comp the lasagna.. which we never got! Like no kidding! The manager was rude to my wife and just explained she was filling in and there was nothing she could do. This place was a joke... $170 dollars for 3 adults and 3 children and everyone left hungry and disappointed to say the least. Never will go here again. I dont usually leave reviews but we went here because of the good reviews so i feel obligated to leave a bad one. read more

Great restaurant in a small town. The outdoor patio is an absolutely lovely spot for lunch or dinner with little noise from the street and wind chimes tinkling merrily from the trees. I tried a couple of their flatbreads and their chicken salad wrap as well as two sips and a glass of three of their sangrias. The flatbreads were fantastic and exactly what I would want from this particular dish. The chicken salad wrap was a tad bland, but I still enjoyed it and the dish itself tends toward blandness anyway. Out of the pear, cherry, and raspberry sangrias, the pear was my favorite, but I also enjoyed the cherry sangria. Overall, I'd highly recommend Wishmaker if you're in the area and are feeling peckish. read more

4th time at Wishmaker and my last! Their service has always been terrible and out of the 4 times I've gone only once did I think the food was good and that happened to be a special. Each time I've been in the igloo and you should just be in a deserted island because they don't come very often , not to even check on the food they brought out! Yesterday's brunch did it for me ! Had to go in and ask for a traditional breakfast meal that was right there under the heat lamp after others received their meal 10 minutes prior.Raw meat on a breakfast burger ordered, undercooked bacon ( bad) , burnt pancakes on the bottom served to little girls, a shredded hashbrown consisted of a hashbrown just like you get from McDonald's!!! No lie! What in the world. Went there for the Princess experience and she was Amazing! None of the times did I choose to go to the Wishmaker after the first time but each time others wanted to go. Great first visit. Stumbled upon the small town of Bellville while picking up my regular order of eggs. I had the mussels, side salad, and the Pinot Grigio. Oh n of course a slice of cheese cake. The mussels were delicious the butter sauce was the perfect pair, salad was the right size for a side and both were priced fairly. The cheese cake I had was maple bourbon it was amazing and sized for two. I texted my husband the minute I left he might be coming there tomorrow. Not sure what the story is on the wine says it is made in Lake Erie but produced and bottled by Wishmaker. You can buy wine to go it is the same you would expect to pay at the grocery. Looking forward to learning more on my next trip but for a wine lover but not an Ohio wine lover the Pino Grigio was a good dry white that paired perfect with the mussels. read more

Great sleep. Great Eats. Go. I stayed here on a business trip this week with colleagues. Everyone at the company we were visiting knew where we were going and kept talking about how excited for us to eat there. Wow! The place is beautiful, great ambiance, the rooms are very tastefully decorated (really feels like a luxury stay from home), bathrooms are huge and spacious. I fell asleep in the cushy bed instantly. We didn't have breakfast there but had lunch. I'm one of those people that typically hones in instantly on the ONE thing I'd be interested in on a menu, but I couldn't do that here. I wanted everything. I asked the waitress what she'd choose based on a few items and she just said they are all good but go with the "Boursin BLT". Ok. 4 of us ordered it. 4 of us were amazed. Cathy was our fun and friendly waitress and she made sure we had the best experience! Also Katherine stopped by to chat and make sure everything was top notch.
