I had my car repaired back in january 2025. my son was employed there at the time and since the car…read moretook FOREVER to repair for minor rear end damage, the shop owner let us take the car home even though insurance still had a little left to pay. The reason insurance didn't pay the first time was because the invoice was incorrect (wrong repair). they resubmitted and it was paid in February. fast forward to now, my son was let go and they advised him yesterday (6 months later) that his mom owed 489.22 and that they were deducting it from his last check. Naturally I called insurance company...all claims paid. I called candy Apple and they refuse to give me a bill so I can pay it since it's my vehicle and not my sons problem. They refused. So I went there to get it in person and they still refused. They called the police. Do not use Candy Apple Customs. They obviously are doing some questionable things with billing.

My car was wrecked from an accident so the other person's insurance was covering everything and was being directly billed. Every time there was a delay in the process or something changed, they called to let me know what was happening and what they were doing to fix the issue. FOOD/PRODUCT & SERVICE: My car door looks brand new and they did an amazing job repairing everything. I can finally enter my car through the driver's side! OVERALL: HIGHLY recommend, especially for insurance claims. Everyone at this business is incredibly kind, and I even heard a mechanic say he saw a couple's tire caught a flat at a nearby business, and he rushed to help them with it. I find that to be a very honest business and I'd gladly come back for any future problems.

They ended up getting another bumper for a car that had been backed into. This time around I had ran over something in the road and unfortunately had to transfer my car to a mechanic because they handle collision when it comes to repairing the body of the car. I hate I had to transfer it because I knew they would've taken care of me in a timely manner. And that the job would've been done correctly. But I would recommend this place to anyone looking for auto body repair. They do great work and you can count on them. They also don't hit you over the head with the pricing.

I am so happy that I chose them because they are they are warm, friendly and yet very professional, but most importantly, their work quality is superb! I live outside of the perimeter east on the opposite side of town and I still take my business to him because it is worth it to me. I use to live on the west side of town years ago in 1997 but would rather take my business to someone that I know will take care of my repair needs. Since I have been a loyal customer for so many years, Bernard has done some small emergency type repairs for me. I've had family to come from out of state and he has assisted them while in town on some small repairs as well. The rental car agency is conveniently located just around the corner from his shop and they will come and pick you up. This is a valuable resource and service in my opinion.

So, with that being said...this review is based off of service...or lack thereof, only. I have brought my vehicle here twice in the past few months looking to get all the rubber window stripping replaced due to age and dry rot. On my first trip in, the counter associate was very nice and helpful, went out to my car to take photos and gave me preliminary pricing. She mentioned she would get it put in the system and I would get a call within a few days with full pricing details. A few days pass and nothing. I call back in to get information and was told I would have it tomorrow, again...tomorrow comes and goes. A few weeks pass and I decide to stop back in as I know they are a busy shop. I went through the same song and dance, only to again be ghosted by these folks. After being forgotten twice, I decided to move on and go elsewhere. I had high hopes for these guys as I know they are well known and respected in the Smyrna community. Initially I was told that my car would be returned 5 days, unfortunately it took much longer than that. Though I grew frustrated for not receiving my car back in the estimated timeframe, Tim, an associated at Tiger Hunt, stayed in constant communication with me and reported updates as they came in. Tim really made things happen and I grew confident that the work would be completed as he said it would be. After several weeks, I received my vehicles back and I was pleased with the work. Though their is room for improvement in setting customer's expectations I'm pleased with the quality of the work. The manager, David, ensured all the work work was properly completed and worked "magic" to ensure repairs and enhancementswere completed as discussed.
