I have more concerning your response. None of the people at the other shop including the wrecker driver had a problem with her door until you laid hands on, JS. I found it odd that Tires Plus broke off 2 lug nuts claiming cross thread when the night before a police officer changed her tire on the side of the road with a standard tire iron. The shop told me they had been cross threaded prior to them. The story continued at your shop with more damage to her car. I am an ASE, GM certified tech of 50 years or better. I along with another tech do the repairs to her car. Nine months prior to your examination myself and my brother replaced the door hinge bushings that you claimed were bad. I had 5 months ago done a tune up, the other tech, Jody just had completed the front brakes, you had to have seen the new pads and rotors. I went in fast service they had no problem with me walking in without an apt.i could hear a sound going on there good found it rite away .I had just got the car it was my tire u could see the wires come out .I would never seen it it was on the inside of my tire. Extremely satisfied with the service I received here. I had come from a big corporation automotive place where they tried to charge me $700 for front brakes, rotors, etc. (I assume because I'm a girl) I take it to Donnie's and they tell me I only need the front brakes done and I was charged $165. I really appreciate Donnie's for not trying to up sell me and just doing the work on the car that I actually needed. I want to give a "shout out" to Donnie's Automotive. But first, here's my experience. It was late Friday afternoon, and I was having my brakes worked on. A friend of mine (former full time mechanic) moonlights doing minor car repairs. After the left front brake pads were installed, he started on the right front brakes, but soon discovered a problem. The tire could not be removed, because two lug nuts were cross threaded or over torqued, when I purchased new tires a few months earlier. The Tire Company has a business agreement with Donnie's Automotive when this happens, but Donnie's shop was closed until Monday. I called Donnie's first thing Monday morning, and he said to bring my car in around 10:00 AM and they would work me in. Sure enough, they worked me in, and I asked if they could install the right front pads, while it was up on the lift, because my friend would not be able to finish the brake job for another week, because of his full-time job. Donnie's agreed to complete the brake work, and when the mechanic was driving my car to the pick-up area, he heard the left front brakes squealing, and took it back to the lift. He said the pressure plate was causing the problem, but it was fixed immediately. I don't think it is good business etiquette to quote prices for services rendered, because every situation is different. But what Donnie quoted me for their work and time was more than fair.....unbelievable! And I appreciate businesses who are not afraid to show their faith. after a bad motorcycle accident i could no longer work on my on cars so i took my 70 nova to donnies (because he gave the best price) to get my plugs, valvecover gaskets changed and trans resealed. when confronted about the work and refusing to reimburse me, i was told plugs dont need gapping only hotroder like me do that( they replaced but did not gap the plugs) stripped out a t on my valve cover, and as far as i can tell did not reseal the trans which i paid for, still has all the same old dirt and oil on it and leaks worse now. I should have paid more ,you know what they say, you get what u pay for. I recommend anyone else read more

My wife and I have been going to Donnie's for a few years. Donnie resurrected my Civic in January of 2011, which had been declared dead for about a year. This car had biological material growing on it! It cost me under two hundred dollars to fix it and saved me from having to invest in another car. It's been running without any trouble since. Where to begin- I got a transmission at Donnie's it was 3 years in September 2011. Anyway when I first got it installed I had to take it back twice. It had a 3 year warranty is which why I am writing this now. May 2011 the car started jumping when it reaches second gear. I took it back the end of August 2011 because I knew the warranty was about to expire- Donnie quoted me a price for something that had nothing to do with the transmission. I explain the reason why I brought the car in and he told me it was another reason why my car was doing the jumping. He didnt want to HONOR his warranty. I took to 2 more people for a second and third opinion and they both said it was my Transmission. So gave me a write up quote which I took back to Donnie to show him and he was very, very nasty to me. He didnt want to look at the quote his pride must of been hurt. This wasnt the first time that Donnie misquoted me about 1 of my cars. Dont let the Christian stuff fool you. He is not a very nice person. read more
