Just tried to book for an upcoming concert and had an awful service experience with someone named Steve. Steve was super rude and abrupt on the phone after I used the online booking service. I work in Boston and have used several car services in the southern New Hampshire area, I'd recommend shopping around as other options have better prices and more importantly polite and friendly service reps to help you through the process. We rented a 14 passenger bus for a friends bachelorette in New Hampshire last weekend and Great Bay Limo was excellent. They were incredibly responsive to emails and phone calls, and they were very helpful in booking the right vehicle for us when our top choice wasn't available. Ray was our driver and he was 12/10. Ultimately they cleaned house, made appropriate reparations and the manager was apologetic. *Original Review* I was a groomsman in a wedding and the groom set up for Great Bay to pick us up after dropping off the bride's side of the bridal party. But the limo driver never came. After a half hour, the company confirmed that the driver was right around the corner, but after waiting another ten minutes, we had to drive ourselves to the ceremony to avoid being late. Never use this company if you want to ride in a limo. If you are up for a gamble, go for it. I'll update my review when I hear about how they handle this failure in the aftermath. read more

We rented a bus for our wedding, and the service was fantastic! Mike the driver was beyond accommodating- worked later than planned when someone forgot a pocketbook and had to go back to the venue, and helped locate and return a cell phone that was left behind. Mike played music and made the ride fun for everyone! As a whole the company was excellent at communicating, and the prices were very fair. I can't recommend this company enough!!! read more

I've worked with this company a few times for work events. The first time, I had to call and coordinate multiple round-trip rides over multiple days, and they were right on time to each one. Anise especially is always very kind and helpful-- I'm sure everyone else is, too, but she's the one I've worked with most. She even sent photos from the driver of our group with their limousine! They've been a dream to work with and I highly recommend. ETA: I found this company after trying to use a local Boston company that was going to charge astronomical prices to go between Logan International and Portsmouth. We took this company for a birthday party. They showed up late and the driver kept randomly getting off of the highway because he was "lost". The bus ended up breaking down on the side of 495 and the driver said the tire had popped. People got off of the bus to help him...there was no flat. We were told to get off of the bus and wait on the side of the highway for a new bus. The new one finally came (90 minutes after we broke down). However, we never got to the actual location that we were suppose to be at because the driver could not find it. We told him multiple times where to get off of the highway and he just didn't listen. He ended up dropping us off at a random spot in Boston. We were told the bus ride was going to be free because of all the inconveniences we experienced. However, money was still taken out of our account. When the company was called to ask about this, they claimed they never told us that the ride was free. They said "you had been drinking and we were not so it is your word against ours". This company is awful. You do not get what you pay for and they do not treat you well. read more

We have used Great Bay three times for concerts out of state. Unfortunately two out of the three times were unsatisfactory for different reasons-from a broken a/c (in August!) to a driver who made us nervous with the driving skills. Great Bay Limo was GREAT! We ordered an 18 person hummer for our wedding party and their school bus (painted black & white) for our guests! Worked out perfectly. Both drivers were prompt and professional and made our day extra special. Red carpet & champagne and all! Would definitely recommend to any and all people looking to book for their events. When we got out of the church and before we got in the limo, the drive made it a point to stop us for a picture and to pop the champagne. We used Great Bay for transportation to pick up our family of four from Logan airport. It was our first time using their service and we were pretty excited for the convenience of having someone pick us up right at the door. When we landed after a long flight with two kids in tow we were happy to be able to sit back and enjoy a ride home. Unfortunately, when we landed and I called Great Bay to check in and they seemed scattered and defensive. The person on the phone said the driver was running behind due to traffic. She was unsure of when he might arrive but thought it would only be 10-15 minutes at the most. She asked for me to call back once we had all of our things and were ready by the door. She apologized but said that she had upgraded us to a larger vehicle at no additional charge. After we had our things I called back and the pick up time was extended another 20-30 min. After waiting at the airport another 45 minutes with our kids tired and fighting we felt like this was a bad idea. We got a call to meet the van outside. We stood outside next to everyone waiting for the C & J bus to Portsmouth (where my car was) and felt a little foolish. For a third of the price we could have just taken the bus and would have been home earlier. After another 10 minutes the driver arrived and was very apologetic. The van was larger than the town car we reserved but pretty outdated and the electronics on it were not working (radio, TV, etc). Evidently the clients before us ran late and that is why we had to wait so long. Not because of traffic. Knowing that upfront would have set a better expectation for our wait time which was at this point an hour. And the "upgrade" really wasn't an upgrade. It was clearly the vehicle that the previous clients had reserved for their large party and was what the driver was driving. We were really hoping this would have worked out better. My husband travels frequently for work and I was hoping this would prove to be a stress free alternative to driving. In the past he has opted not to because with all the things out of your control when you travel at least he knows his car is there and he can leave when he wants to. It looks like we'll stick to driving for now. read more

We used Great Bay for my sister's bachelorette party and had an absolutely perfect experience! Our driver, Fred, was wonderful: punctual, easygoing, friendly, and helpful. We went to a winery and finished there with plenty of time left on our limo reservation. Since we weren't from the area, we asked Fred to take us around wherever, and he drove us along the beautiful NH coast and stopped at Hampton Beach for 20 minutes so we could dip our feet in the ocean. It was really the perfect touch on an already great experience. It was also the best hourly rate I could find and champagne was included. Highly recommended!! read more

If it was possible I would give this company -100 stars. We used this company for my friends birthday party. After they showed up late (supposed to be there at 8:00), the limo driver decided to give us a demeaning speech about how we were unresponsible (after not even knowing us). Then after a short ride of leaking air conditioning, the driver got off the highway because he was lost. The bus broke down and my friends and I were standing on the side of the highway for 2 hours. They said they were bringing us another party bus but they actually just brought us a worse bus with school bus seats. The owner told my friend (the birthday girl) that they would take us to Boston for a small amount of money and not take money out of our accounts, so we agreed. We told the driver a specific bar to take us to, and after another 2 hours of driving we still hadn't made it to the bar. (Mind you, we live 45 minutes from Boston). After pleading with the man we all just got out and went to some random bar that we didn't plan on going to. We didn't even get to Boston til midnight. Then the next day we were all charged triple what the owner had told us we would be charged and then told us that they never made that deal with us. They said "you were drinking and its your word against mine". Then they also threatened us with saying we left the first broken down bus with our trash on it, when we all know for a fact that we cleared all of our belongings including our trash off the bus. If you can, save yourself the hassle and terrible service of this company. I would never recommend them to anyone, I will only spread the word of how horrendous they are. read more
