This was probably the best customer service I've ever experienced. I had some work pants that were hemmed elsewhere, and one of the hems had come loose. I came here to get it re-hemmed. Based on services elsewhere, I thought that I'd have to wait several days and pay about $30. Instead, the tailor had me taken care of in a few minutes and told me it was on the house. I brought in a suit jacket with a button that had been cracked in half to be replaced. She had a similar button and on the spot replaced it. I had no cash on me (they take cash and checks only) and was going to come back with cash and she said no, there was no cost. I insisted and she insisted that it is was no cost. I'm short and fat so finding clothes that fit is often impossible. The sleeves and legs are too long and the width is too little to fasten. So when I stumbled onto an incredible deal for a Dolce and Gabanna dinner jacket I was determined to make it work. Yada yada yada and two weeks later the coat fits almost perfectly! It's still a little tightly around my big belly but C&M only had so much fabric to work with. I was really bummed that my old tailor for bridesmaid dress repairs closed shop but I'm so happy that I tried C&M. My dress needed major alterations in a shorter than desired time period and they took me in despite my very poor planning. The dress was ready on time and looked great. Replaced it no problem within a week of when I brought it in, and for a reasonable price. This was my first time coming here, and I will be bringing anything I need altered to this place from now on! First time in and I brought in a coat with a zip on hood that had a broken zipper. Woman there took it back right away, popped on a part, and had it fixed in under two minutes. I had to get a bridesmaid's dress altered for a wedding and I was in a 2 week time crunch to get it done. I called ahead of time to see when I could come in for alterations, and the woman running the shop took me on the same day. She was very nice and friendly. I tried on the dress and was out in 15 minutes after she did some pinning. I came back two weeks later and my dress was perfect. The stitching matched so well that the dress looked like it came shipped to me that way. Alterations were about $50-$60 bucks for 2 layers of hemming and rush services. She was also kind enough to not hang up the dress as instructed on the tag. I would recommend this shop and use their services again. read more

This place works miracles! They are located close to my house and I thought we would give them a try (despite the review complaining they were not open promptly at 9 am...I mean it's a family business...things happen). My son needed some pants altered and they did a great job. We were so pleased, I brought them my husband's Marmot jacket that needed a replacement zipper. The color was a very specific lapis blue and she matched it perfectly! The price was less than $20! Probably their crowning achievement was the picture I have added with this review. My husband is a high school football coach and a player went to the emergency room where they cut his jersey off of him. I doubted this could be repaired but this lady accepted the challenge! She was able to add an additional seam that is virtually undetectable! These folks put a great emphasis on delivering a quality product. They have earned my business. read more

Their staff is friendly, the location is great (right next to the amazing Thai Grille restaurant) and they are always looking out for your best interest. I've used them 3 times so far, once for a bridesmaid's dress. She even talked me out of getting one item altered, because she knew it wouldn't look right the way I was requesting it be altered. Walked in with two pairs of too long, un-lined pants and a knit shirt with a flapping sleeve seam. The woman working greeted me and offered a tight but clean and well lit dressing room. In no time both pants were pinned according to my height and typical shoes. She assessed the shirt and added up her time and cost $30.10. After two weeks, the sleeve is together with minimum seam pinch, and the pants were pressed and the prefect length. Very happy. read more

I plan on editing this so I can show the quality of C&M but I cannot stress this enough - they must be using some sort of wizardry. Two of my pants were on their last legs (literally) and they look brand new. I brought in 4 pants (3 Buckle jeans, 1 Oakley golf pant) with rips that needed repaired. I brought them home and I can't even tell where two of them were fixed because the stitching / quality / repair is that incredible. I did not get anything altered, but I know where to go next time I need jeans hemmed - I'll be back this weekend. Please, please come here if you need alterations and tailoring. read more

i just HAD to write a review even though i have yet to see actual work done. I went in to get a bridemaids dress altered that my sister actually got from JCREW. it was pleated, so it fits me a bit differently then the other girls because theyre super thin, and i just had a baby. i felt the dress was too big, or it made me look big and i wanted her to make it look tighter. the second i tried it on she looked at me and said "whats wrong with it? it looks great??" she didnt even LOOK for something to alter just to get money from me. she explained to me the type of fabric the dress was, the way its supposed to look, and why it looks the way it does. she made me feel confident to wear the dress, and gained my trust immediately. i cant wait to bring my business to her when i truly need it. read more

The dress alteration was alright, but not fully satisfied. The chest needed to be adjusted, and due to the shape the only real option was to shorten at the shoulders, which caused the armpit to ride up into mine. Therefore, it was a little lower than I would've wanted it to be (bridesmaid for my sister's wedding). Also, the hem turned out to be shorter than we had discussed it to be, and sitting down caused me to be sitting on the bare part of my high upper thigh. For the price they charged I feel that they could have spent more time in the first alteration phase of having me trying the dress, and made some other adjustments to have the chest section fit better. read more
