Difficult to contact and speak with someone. Felt like they do not want my business, seams like they just threw a price out there and the price was high. I can go to TJ max or Marshalls and purchase brand new pants for what they wanted to alter my pants. read more

I needed a last minute dress alteration for a wedding and had a very limited time frame that I could come in due to my crazy work schedule. I contacted Stitch In Time via Yelp and she was able to get me in on the day I needed as well as have the dress completed for the big day! I also had a request to pick up the extra material a few days after drop off so the bride could have matching masks made (pictured) and she was able to accommodate. My new go-to, Zorica is amazing! Her personality, craftsmanship, and speed are incomparable. Her shop is located next to the Valero at the intersection of Waggoner and Main St and there is plenty of parking in the lot just past her shop, which is inside a blue house. I came in with 2 dresses, one being a bridesmaids dress that was way too big! The owner told me she was going to show me what she'd like to do to it and then asked my opinion and thoughts. I was involved with the shape and length of the dress the entire time but didn't need to be because she's amazing at her job and made both my dresses fit PERFECTLY. My dresses where done even sooner than I expected. I went run end of feb and picked up my dresses a couple weeks later in mid March, keep in mind most pleased ask you to alter dresses sometimes MONTHS in advance. I came in to have my wedding dress altered. It was a simple lace dress, not a typical fluffy extravaganza dress. I was fitted and I said multiple times I wanted the straps tighter and the woman argued with me. We finished the fitting and she told me it would be $180 to hem it and have the straps adjusted. I was floored at how much she quoted me for such a simple dress. I called a few days later to ask a question about the dress. I wanted to know if I could sew the straps myself (because I was not happy with where she pinned them). I said I wanted the dress hemmed only and she was very annoyed and stated that was fine but it would still cost $180. I asked why would the price not change if I'm having less work done? She said, "you know what, just come pick up the dress. I'm not going to have you do some work and I do some work, just come get your dress." Honestly I was relieved because I did not want to pay $180 for something I could do myself. $180 to hem a simple cotton and lace dress is crazy. read more
