My second quote was from Blue Sky. Their reviews and BBB ratings were GREAT! So they came out and gave me a quote. About $8,000 LESS than the first company!!!!!! (and a bigger garage door opening - 8 foot versus 7 foot). Dave the salesman was great. No pressure at all! It took about 3 weeks to get the permits, then the fun began.... First up was the demo crew. They tore down my old garage in about 2 to 3 hours. Extremely professional and cleaned up after themselves. Less than a week later, the concrete guys came. It took 2 days to frame, then pour the pad and apron for a 22x22 garage. About 3 weeks later the framers came. I think it took them 3 days. Another guy came after them to clean up. Within a week, the garage door and gutter guy came. He was here and gone in the same day. A week after that, the electrician came. Took him 2 days. Overall, every crew was on time and very professional. They were there at 7 am. Worked til noon. Lunch. Then left when finished, or at 5 pm. Finally, the inspector came. He was impressed with the straight lines and how everything was done.

They were very professional and matter of fact, giving me all of the information I needed. There was no sales pressure at all. They climbed up on the roof and identified damage from the recent hailstorm. Based on their experience in finding sufficient damage, they believed I had a valid claim. They asked if I wanted to proceed with a claim and walked me through the process. After deciding to proceed with the project, they took over and the process could not have been simpler or less intrusive for me. They contacted the insurance company on my behalf and scheduled all the appointments after consulting with me about my availability for the inspection. The insurance adjuster came and looked at the roof and approved the claim for the new roof because of hail damage. Naser and his team discussed back and forth with the insurance company on my behalf to get any supplemental adjustments needed to finish the project correctly. I did not have to speak to the insurance company one time, which I really enjoyed. The owner Naser brought over a large collection of samples for color and type selection for the shingles and explained the scope of work for the project. We signed all the paperwork and scheduled a date. They had a large crew come out and finish the entire roof in two days. There was not a single piece of scrap or nail I could find in the yard after the project. The crew manager informed me they had to replace a few pieces of plywood due to damage, which the company threw in at no cost. The crew manager noticed a few other things that I could take care of on the roof and siding and gave me a couple recommendations for people or companies that can take care of those issues. I cannot recommend these guys enough for any exterior home projects. I look forward to working with them in the future when I start a new project.
