Doug was our second choice and within ten minutes of meeting became our first choice for all future flooring treatment needs. Two days later and my initial impression of him was spot on. He was professional, personable, a gentleman that I was 100% comfortable having in our home while I looked after my toddler and 3 month old puppy while my husband was gone at work. As for service, the carpet looks and smells amazing. We bought our home last summer and it's a purchase that keeps on giving, and one of those was pet urine odor in the master bedroom that we didn't notice until after closing. We've been living with it ever since until we decided to purchase bedroom furniture that will be immovable... so it became a now or never situation. After Doug's visit I can't smell it or see it, and as the carpet has dried it smells like we put down new carpeting. His price was unbeatable to boot. Before I close, I'd like to add that 4 minutes before Doug arrived my toddler daughter came toddling out of the living room clapping her hands with my son's "flarp" (noise putty/slime/nightmare toy) on her feet. You may see where this is going.... I continued walking toward the living room and there it was..... neon green slime gently and slowly molding itself around each individual carpet fiber it touched. I texted my husband - we hadn't hired Doug to get slime out of carpet! I had 8 spots counted and by the time Doug arrived we were at 13. He walked in and I told him what was going on and his response was "Well I guess you had the right guy coming!" He worked at that "toy" that could have destroyed my carpeting, and he spent considerable time on it when he wasn't even coming here to do that. I was embarrassed but relieved. Even still, when he went to quote me a price, he wasn't going to charge for the slime debacle however I insisted. He deserved it. I'm genuinely disappointed that I was too aggravated with my toddler's antics to get before pictures. Job well done, Doug. The floor in our home is mostly carpeted and we have three dogs. I reached out for carpet cleaning quotes on Yelp regarding my deceased mothers home to prepare it for sale. The damage to the carpet was extensive from illness and neglect.
