He then very quickly got back to us with exact quotes for each of the two possible solutions, and advised of a multi-week back order for the main part. Capital Appliance was sent out by Electrolux as my fridge was having a lot of condensation issues…read moreand was under warranty. Capital Appliance did not fix my fridge that was under warranty from Frigidaire. My fridge is now out of warranty. The request was put in April. Their tech came out in April, nothing was replaced or fixed. No one came back out until September to replace a back panel. That did not fix the condensation issue. The tech's damaged the fridge, floors, and oven. The tech cracked a hole in my fridge that condensation is not getting into. The owner Robert made it seem he was working with Electrolux to replace the fridge unit. Is not responsive to emails and phone calls. Found out from Electrolux that Capital Appliance closed my file behind by back. They lied to Electrolux about the diagnosis, lied about fixing the fridge, lied about the parts that were fixed, and pushed my fridge outside of warranty. My fridge is still not fixed and the owner/business will not respond to my emails. I would not recommend Capital Appliance and I would not recommend Frigidaire/Electrolux products.

Here is my experience with Quality Appliance Repair. My ice…read moremaker in my fridge stopped making ice, I checked all DYI suggestions and followed with no results. Eventually I called Quality Appliance Repair and at the price of $145 just to show up and guaranteed this charge will be included in a total repair charge. Technician showed up and I explained what is wrong with the ice maker, it all took five minutes for him to scratch his head and google on his phone, not even taking any tools out of his toolbox and his diagnosis was "my ice maker is broken" which I already told to him. For some reason they couldn't get the part and they left me with no solution and just a bill for five minutes of what they call technician diagnostics just for him to show up. So just be aware of this business, it's not necessarily scam but they prey on someone like you, I paid $145 for nothing and hope you will not.

I was doubtful so I started a new cycle on the washing machine to see if it worked and the machine stopped after a few minutes. Then he said it would take 7-8 hours and $1600 to repair. He told me to buy a new washer. Next day, I called a different appliance company to come assess. That company fixed the washer by replacing a part and total charge was $350. It took him less than 2 hours to repair, clean and tune up the washing machine. I reached out to the owner of Quality Appliance Repair company to let him know what happened and received a snarky reply. He said if I like someone else's advice better than his company's advice, go for and then said "No one works for free". I don't expect anyone to work for free but I do expect accurate and trustworthy service. I asked for a refund and he refused. Save your money and stay far away from this company.

He came took time to point out the Dead water pump, and also some of the other parts that were in poor condition. The unit was 15 years old. After deciding a new unit was need, he gave some comments on the different manufactures that were out there, as well as what I should be asking about the cost. Peter was in the area, and arranged to come within a couple hours. He was properly masked, had all of his tools, and went straight to work. Within 15 minutes he discovered the problem. The bad news was that the stove could not be fixed and would have to be replaced. Peter gave me some recommendations on new stoves to consider, which to avoid, and even which retailers to contact. He also alerted me about a couple installation issues I might encounter, given my countertop configuration. All really valuable advice. Peter is also a very pleasant guy, and is easy to talk to. I recommend him.
