Everyone was leaving reviews saying "do not go anywhere else in Columbus for a mattress!" and I can see why now. Ben was absolutely amazing from day one. After making an appointment online (yes, it's appointment only and totally worth it because he spends an hour with you), I received a super nice text from him letting me know that I was welcome to hit him up with any questions prior to my appointment. The day of the appointment went very smoothly, and Ben is very welcoming and personable. He asked all the right questions to figure out the right mattress for me and my boyfriend and let us try various ones out before we committed. It was truly the best "salesman" experience I've ever had. And he even delivered it and took away my old mattress for free! This plush mattress we ended up purchasing is so comfortable. The first day or two was weird, only because I was so used to sleeping on a crappy foam topper, but now I'm getting some of the best sleep I've had in years. After it was put into the bed frame, I discovered that the mattress was much softer than it had felt in the store, so I called and spoke with Steve. He was remarkably polite and patient, spending a good 20-to-30 minutes on the phone until we figured out that I should have bought a set of box springs at the same time I bought the mattress. (My fault, not theirs.) Amazingly, he then offered to deliver the box springs to my house that same evening after he closed up the store, all for a surprisingly low price. (Please don't call Family Services on us. We're good parents that just like to have fun!) Well, you guessed it - we bought a Temperpedic. How could we not? Then we came back a week later and bought another bed for our guest room (this time without our drowsy daugher). The prices were outrageous! Mack Mattress is known for their rock-bottom pricing. The prices are literally half of what you would pay in a retail store. (The Temperpedic was not a factory second though, but was priced very competitively.) Don't waste your time with any other mattress store until you check out Mack Mattress Outlet first! There is a location conveniently located near you. It was not inexpensive. It's been less than 5 years and the mattress is sagging and providing no support whatsoever. I live alone-so weight is not an issue. I turned the mattress at the recommended intervals. My previous mattress lasted 10-15 years. This mattress is less than 5 years old and is useless. I would not rely on their 'expert' advice ever again. I am really disappointed that, within the next 6 months, I am likely going to have to replace the mattress that they claimed would last 10-15 years.

It's not like a Serta or Sealy, you can say those and everyone knows what those brand names are.. The Mack mattress is a clone or knock-off, but that doesn't really do it any favors. The problem is "what is a Mack Mattress?" It's a mattress that is US made in the same series line as the name brand, but.. Made better, better materials, better stitching, better internals, better colors, better textures, it's all around a better product. Then also none of the stupid tariffs, since it's made here, so it's more affordable, and a better product, so to say it's a clone or knockoff, really doesn't do it justice.. If anything it's the same colors as other brands, but a much better product. My mattresses replaced a 30 year old sealy and a 10 year old "original mattress factory" mattress, which was hot garbage. That is the mattress, but.. It's not just the mattress.. The Good: Mattresses we purchased were both incredibly well made. They were comfortable, and they have decent financing if needed. The "not great": The warranty, while hopefully not needed, if you do need it, there's a restocking fee that is in some cases is the same cost as the mattress itself. The problem with a mattress is until you sleep on it, you really can't tell if it is the best mattress for you, so you can end up wanting to exchange it, but while they offer an exchange option, it's not as good as many other brand name mattress options. I suggest you bring a set of sheets at minimal the bottom sheet, so you can tell how actual comfortable it is.. Otherwise this is a drawback of Mack Mattress. The adjustable base was in stock and purchased before 5 pm, so it was eligible for same-day delivery. The base boxes (along with all subsequent orders' boxes) were placed in our living room, which is 7 steps up from the front door in our split level home. We placed an order for the mattress at the same time we purchased the adjustable base. Expectations were set ahead of time that the delivery timeframe could vary by a few months based on manufacturer availability and order placement timing. We were pleasantly surprised when it arrived earlier than expected. We decided several months after our initial orders arrived that we wanted to purchase a bed frame that was compatible with our adjustable base. We inquired about placing a special order for one we found on the manufacturer's website, and about 2 months later it arrived. 1 of the 3 total boxes--which contained the slide out drawers for the bed frame--had mistakenly not been dropped off along with the headboard and frame. The owners delivered the forgotten box in their personal vehicle. Every step of our experience with Columbus Mattress Wholesale was objectively fantastic. The rapport in our business-client relationship was built entirely through genuine interactions. No one ever used the false sense of urgency manipulation tactic that nearly every other mattress store we visited prior attempted on us. Everyone was friendly, but not in a beguiling way. The bed is a treasured family antique that is 100 years old and is a ¾ bed on which we were using a full mattress. What we wanted was a queen box springs and mattress. A standard-size queen mattress is 60 x 80 inches which is too long. The Original Mattress Factory produces many special-sized mattresses. In the selection is a Short Queen with a diminution of 60 x 75 inches which would be tight but would work. At our reception at the Reynoldsburg store, we were warmly welcomed. During our discussion about sizes, we discovered that they make mattresses locally. Due to this, they could remove one row of coils to produce a short queen mattress that was 60 x 73.5 inches, which was ideal. Because our mattress was a custom build, two weeks were required for the manufacture. The delivery was outstanding in every way. What might have been a stressful purchase turned into a joy, plus we got exactly what we were looking for.
