Jose came through said he wanted to do a water test for a nominal fee that would be applied to the total work. He did the test. The test revealed that the leak was actually come from an outdoor outlet instead of the deck. In other words, if I had used any of the other contractors I would have paid over $10K and the leak would not have been repaired. I got the outlet sealed and the deck resealed and Westcoast's work was immaculate. They completed it punctually and even came back to put back all the furniture. Thank you! Once the job began, the primary person of contact shifted to Julio, one of their project managers. He was on property every day supervising and working alongside his crew. The crew was very polite, hard-working and friendly. They were very well supported by Julio. This may seem like a given, but often it is not so it did stand out to me. Once all of the work was done, Julio gave me a final walk-through, showing me how the various components function and made certain that I did not have any lingering questions. I think there were two follow up visits after the work was completed in order to accomplish this. There was no point along the way where I felt like they were taking shortcuts, using materials that were inferior quality, or anything of that nature. Their concrete cuts were incredible, and I have seen some really bad cuts in my past. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a response from Brandon on a weekend, when I was extremely frustrated with a persistent leak in my home. I've spent a significant amount of money on repairs, and the leak continues to be a problem. Jack was sent by Brandon, and I could sense his expertise from the way he asked questions and thoroughly examined the potential entry points for water. After hearing about the previous company's unsuccessful attempts to repair the leak, Jack flew a drone over my roof to check for any open seams on the copper roof dome. He then meticulously examined the roof with a toothpick and asked me to wait for the next rainstorm. He instructed me to send him videos of where the water was coming from. Jack also asked me to check the areas where the drywall had been opened up underneath the copper roof during the previous repairs to see if they had gotten wet. By process of elimination, he determined that the roof leak had been repaired, but the water now coming down from the window frame was coming from the gutter nearby.
