This roofer was very clear and explicit in his estimate, which was close to the lowest. We chose them as they are local to us. I'm surprised that this company hasn't "claimed" their business spot on here; but I'm going to review their fine work anyway... ‍ The first estimate that was given to us was by one of the "mega-companies" that one sees constantly on TV commercials- and I about blew a brain seal! - $25,000??!! My lord! Did they use tar paper with gold weave, or shingles made with Kevlar?? We had another estimate completed the following day; the price was less than the first, but the gentleman wanted to do a complete "Dog and Pony Show" presentation afterwards. Sorry, but I had to cut the first guy off from his song and dance saga early, and I didn't want another high-pressure sales attempt-- he wasn't too pleased, but he did email me the paperwork the following morning. I was totally prepared for yet a third turgid screed titled, "Our Roof Is Better Than Their Roof!" from anyone coming down the pike, but I'm happy to say that I didn't have that issue with C. L. Wright Roofing! Let me first say I'm not one to write reviews on every little thing, and I'm not trying to blow a ray of sunshine up anyone's pant leg with this one- they did a darn fine job, and they deserve a darn good review! Here is the service breakdown: * The gentleman arrived on time and was polite, with a no-nonsense attitude- being a veteran, I like that! * Within about thirty-five to forty minutes, he had a written estimate in my hand. It had a everything covered: the shingles, paper, the water damaged soffit and hosed gutter that need to be replaced, and a damaged 4' x 8' plywood board that was bad; (we were aware of these before hand) he also noted that the skylight that provided some daytime light to the attic was broken and leaking! Noted on the estimate was that other plywood pieces could be water damaged, and we'd be advised if anymore needed replacing and gave the price of each piece upfront. I did go to the main office and picked out a shingle color; Jo Anne was very helpful, and I was on my way in no time. * The crew arrived on time on the date stated a few weeks later; they were polite, and cleaned up the small stuff as they went. No cigarette butts or personal trash was ever noted, either. * The project was completed on the second day, and the supervisor arrived later that evening. He did a sweep of the property, picking up any remaining rouge construction trash or wrapping, then used a magnetic roller to pick up any nails or metal debris. Afterwards, my wife and I did a walk around the property with him making sure all was good to go-- and it was! The final cost: $6,700.00 That's a far call from the other companies! Generally good job. Some loose ends when the job was completed but the company returned to fix the loose ends.

Terrible experience. They left a huge mess, wrecked 3 screens, and had to come back 3 times to fix a leak -- after we spent $42k on a new roof! Then, when the roof discolored and the manufacturer was willing to replace it, CL Wright didn't want to since they didn't get reimbursed enough. They finally replaced it and damaged some drywall under a skylight, and had the nerve to tell me that the damage was there previously (even though we just had the ceiling painted since we put our house on the market). Instead of owning up to it, they insulted me via email and told me I had an attitude. These guys are bad news. Jo Anne is rude and insulting. Pay a little more and get someone good. They aren't worth it. read more

We called for an estimate and Charles Wright came out. He came by and didn't get out of his vehicle because there was anoother roofing company here about to leave from giving us an estimate. We called him and asked why he didn't come to the home. He said he couldn't come back and could try and come the next day. I called the company and the woman told me he drove away because there was another truck there. She gave me his number and I called and he came by the next day. He said he didn't have time to go on the roof but that he knew we needed a new roof because this was the original roof. Which is not and I have papperwork to prove that. He had a pissy and rude attitude and said so what did the other guy say? My husband told him and he said just let them do it. He clearly doesn't want any business and I will be letting everyone I know, know this, including all social media. It baffles me that he was so rude and did not want business. It was like watching a jealous boyfriend because he saw someone else in the driveway. read more

They put 20 squares of replacement shingles on my roof and completed the job in one day. They removed the old shingles and paper. They placed tarps around the house to ensure there was no damage to the shrubbery or deck. They picked up all the debris from the demolition of the old roofing and removed all nails using a powerful wheeled magnet. They had installed gutters on my house 15 years earlier with the same amount of quality construction.Price was competitive and I recommend them highly. read more

I received a full asphalt shingle roof replacement from CL Wright, approximately 32 squares and 5 replacement skylights. CL Wright provided an estimate within one week of our first communication. The estimate document included full product specs, warranty information, insurance certificates, and safety rating documentation. In addition, the estimate was very thorough and detailed in inclusions/exclusions to help set expectations. The job was scheduled for several months out due to their availability. However, CL Wright sent a crew member to my house to temporarily patch a couple of leaks that I already had, at their own expense. The crew arrived to perform the project on time, and the foreman spent some time with me to lay out the job and the process. The work was performed safely, in about 2 1/2 days. At the end of each shift, the crew was meticulous about cleaning the area and storing their tools and equipment safely. During the work, they were very respectful of my furnishings around the roof. They were also very nice and friendly, and extremely professional. Most of all, though, they worked on my home as if it were their own. Last but not least, the total cost from CL Wright, including replacement decking and similar product and warranty, came in just below two other quotes that I received. read more

A great company. A great experience. They cleaned up every speck of debris around my house. They ran a magnetic nail sweeping device all around my house. Then the field supervisor ran another magnetic device around my property. Everyone was very nice and easy to talk to. The covered my entire house and all my shrubs with tarps to prevent damage. 100% class act. read more
