Davidson came out to repair a roof leak for us in October 2025. At the time, the issue appeared to be a failing plumbing vent stack fitting, which they repaired promptly and professionally. When the leak returned in February 2026 in the same area, we reached out under their warranty. Their technicians responded quickly, reassessed the situation, and determined that while the original repair had been done correctly, the true source of the leak was likely coming from an adjacent section. After removing a larger portion of shingles, they confirmed the cause and repaired it thoroughly. They also went a step further by addressing the interior water damage in our master bathroom ceiling, which was repaired with care and additional expertise. While no homeowner wants to deal with a recurring issue, Davidson handled the situation with professionalism, accountability, and clear communication throughout the process. It was well overdue having a new roof installed, I had a seen Davidson Roofing sign in my neighborhood and a trusted friend had also used them for a partial roof replacement and repairs, so i decided to include them in my research. I had four quotes from different roofers and Davidson was not the highest or the lowest. I just went with my gut and felt like they have a good reputation and are reliable. The first stop was having their representatives out to the house to take a look at the existing roof. We had arranged a time and he was already here at the house when I came to meet him. The next step was reviewing different types of roofing, which the representative had supplied me with quite a lot of information and options. The last thing was to make a decision on which roofer I was going to select. My mother was going through chemotherapy and Davidson generously offered to supply a double crew to take care of the new roof installment in less than two days. This was at no extra charge. This was the type of service that I was looking for and that made it easy to decide on Davidson for our roofing needs. On roofing day, the Davidson Roofing crew swept in and did an amazing job in what seemed like a very short period of time. The entire roof was installed in less than a day and a half. And it was also extremely hot, I was impressed that their crew was able to complete this job in such a short amount of time under such extreme heat conditions. I got a few quotes to have a new roof installed, I used Davidson Roofing based upon their price and good reviews. I am very happy with the work they did! They were honest with their final price and left my yard much cleaner than when they arrived. Usually there are roofing nails left in the grass from removal of the old roof, but Davidson went around the house twice with a magnet that retrieved all the nails not only when they finished the job, but also when they stopped back the following day! We had damage from years of leaking and the crew cut all the stained and wet plywood, replaced it with new, installed perfectly matching shingles atop, cut into the mortar to better adhere the flashing, and painstakingly went over every inch of the flashing with a sealant. From start to finish, hands down the easiest experience. I started with a different roofer that ended up costing me more problems and more money. Davidson came after my leaks continued and assessed the problem right away. Walter even put temporary patches on my roof to hold until we could schedule to have the roof replaced. It took 3 weeks because of consistent rainy weather and the patches held. The roof work took 3 days and went off with only one small hitch. I had to get my Hvac reconnected and Davidson covered the cost of that. The have a first responder/military discount and offer 0% interest financing for 12 months through a 3rd party. Walter took care of everything. Even with all the madness of COVID 19 they were courteous, timely, and efficient. Gave the assignment to my husband to find us a roofer as a roof was getting old and look shabby. He called Davidson based on some reviews on another neighborhood website. He called two others as well Davidson responded to us immediately and Mr. Davidson himself came out to give us an estimate when he said he would. The second roofing company I had found an ad for and they were an outfit out of Maryland that tells you they will give you an estimate in 20 minutes but turns into a two hour hard sell. They were triple and then double the cost of Davidson. The third guy promised to get us an estimate twice and never showed. Mr. Davidson gave us a very competitive rate and set a date for our roofing. My husband asked what the payment terms were and was told we would not pay anything until we were 100% satisfied. Roofers showed up on time and worked very hard for the next two days to get a roof on. The crew was very respectful of our bushes and flowers and put tarps over everything. They worked 13 hours the first day in 95 degree heat to get the double layer of shingles off. We have a fairly intricate roof and they had quite a large task. There was on place near the chimney that was rotted. The crew leader took pictures from where it was on the roof and showed us how rotted it was. He showed us the flashing that was rusted thru. When they put the new roof on they put a saddle near the roof to divert the water so we won't have that problem again. They finished the job the second day which was Friday and it looks fantastic. I could not believe how clean everything was. Mr. Davidson showed up on Saturday to inspect the job personally. They don't advertising and work solely off of word of mouth. I can see why. I wasn't exactly excited to replace our worn out roof, but Carlos and the team from Davidson did a fantastic job. Carlos took care of us starting with the estimate. He gave us several options and was very knowledgeable when we had questions. The crew showed up on time and ready to work and stayed late until everything was cleaned up. Carlos even stopped in during the day to make sure everything was going well with the job. I fully intended to hire this company to replace my hail damaged roof. Carlos was very prompt in providing me with an estimate, although they are scheduling six to eight weeks out. When I sent the estimate to my insurance company, there were questions because it was not a like-kind estimate. I asked Carlos if I could get an estimate to replace exactly what is on the roof now, he told me the problem wasn't with the estimate, but that his estimate was for a better roof and that he could do the job for what the insurance company quoted but if I wanted the better roof, I would have to pay the difference. I explained that I am aware that I would be responsible for any upgrades, but a like-kind estimate would confirm if the insurance had the right values..... and if they were not able to provide me with this additional estimate, please let me know. Instead of letting me know, I never heard from him again. I was disappointed, as they were my first choice, but I just went ahead and scheduled with another company - selecting the upgraded roof in the end anyway. read more

My trouble started on a Friday night, when we discovered rain water dripping from a second story bedroom ceiling. I went into the attic and crawled on the joists to located the source. A PVC sink vent pipe was surrounded by wet insulation. At first I thought the pipe was leaking at an intersection. Upon closer review, I found that water was running down the outside of the pipe from the roof. I don't have the ladder (or the desire) to get on my second story roof. On Monday, I called a local Handyman that reported insurance/liability prevented their company from being allowed on roofs but they made 3 recommendations. I called each of those 3 and also the 5 listed on Homeadvisor.com. Davidson roofing was the only company of the 8 to have availability that day. I described my trouble to each of the 8 companies, George Davidson was the first person I spoke with that wasn't a receptionist. He advised pipe boot failure is a typical problem that occurs 8-10 years after houses in my area have been built. My house is 16 years old. He had 2 repairmen here later Monday afternoon and they made the fix in less than an hour. I took his advice and replaced the other 2 pipe boots on my house, as it seems highly plausible they'll fail soon too. We had another hard rain within a few minutes of the techs finishing their work. I crawled back across the ceiling joists to check the pipe. No signs of moisture. Tuesday I checked the ceiling in the affected bedroom and it was dry to the touch. I went back into the attic again and rechecked the pipe and the insulation around it - no signs of moisture whatsoever. I told each of the 8 companies the troubleshooting I'd done, and what I suspected to be the problem. Davidson Roofing had completed the work before some had even called me back to schedule a site visit. I had 2 other estimates scheduled, one Wednesday and the next 2 weeks out. I feel like I the $325 was well worth the parts, installation, and excellent service provided by Davidson Roofing. We misunderstood each other on whether or not I'd be here early in the afternoon, but instead of saying I was wrong, George sent his guys back to my house later the same day. I am very pleased with my experience, and will happily refer friends and neighbors to their business. Keep in mind, I did a bit of troubleshooting, and dirty work, which could have decreased the work time for the techs. If you're billed hourly, I'd imagine you'd have to pay for someone else to crawl around in your attic. read more

This a great, locally owned company run by George Davidson. It's nice dealing with the actual owner of a company for some reason. Davidson did my mother-in-law's house and then a few years later did mine. They did an exceptional job on both and it was affordable. They had to replace some of the wood on my house and it was very reasonable. They have a great attention to detail. They even sent someone after the crew left to make sure they cleaned up every bit of debris. It was an excellent experience all the way around and I highly recommend. read more
