Nice little spot in Panama City. Not that far from the main strip.. The food and the service were amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I just wish I would have taken more pictures. Definitely a spot. I would love to visit again when I'm in that part of the country. So do yourself a favor if you ever in Panama City and looking for great food. Please consider C level sit down. I'm waiting for the check.

our food and drinks were delicious! great atmosphere, spotless tables, floor and windows! best food and service we've received in Panama City ever. Zach was amazing and went above and beyond to meet our needs. He suggested menu items and next level drinks! I'll be telling my friends and family about this fantastic restaurant!!!!

Short wait on a Friday night. Simple decorations with a friendly atmosphere. We got the mahi mahi tacos and the special which was shrimp in a pineapple. Both were really good. The corn bread bites were exceptional and the sweet potato fries were a nice complement. Drinks were also good.

"Friends don't let friends eat at franchises". I was nervous to step away from the usual Panama City spots, but all my worries were put to rest with this stop in at C Level. They took reservations which was a great surprise (most of the beach spots don't!). Our first surprise was when the waitress went out of her way to get a member of our party a gluten free dinner roll when she happened to overhear she was gluten free -- this really made the visit special. The food was delicious. We ordered the ribeye, the tuna steak, and the fish and chips. We all ate our plates clean. The Parmesan fries were a great side dish! We will definitely be back!

We have been here a few times. Each time we go we like better than the last. The crab legs were fantastic! The grouper with crab on top was perfect. The sides were good too, especially the brussel sprouts. Best brussel sprouts I have ever had. The restaurant is cute and can accommodate large groups. The staff is very friendly. This is a go to restaurant when we are in the mood for a nice easy going seafood dinner.

Service was great. Out of grilled shrimp, sirloin and mahi mahi go with the mahi mahi. Sirloin more like a lunch steak.

Really enjoy the new location. Especially being next to the Todd Herendeen theater. The food is always top notch. We'll be back.

Very unassuming and oddly quiet when we were there but the food was excellent and Sean, the bartender was awesome.

What are their hours? Maybe it's because this is the off season, but place is bare but shows it is open until 2a?

5-9 Sun-Thu, 5-10 Fri-Sat. They changed their hours at the end of July.

After a so-called "fine dining" restaurant completely failed to accommodate our party (with reservations), Hunt & Gather stepped in without hesitation and made our evening unforgettable. Our table ordered a little bit of everything, and every dish was outstanding -- elk burgers, baked fish, bolognese, filet mignon, and the quail quesadillas were all incredible. The lamb lollipops remain my absolute favorite, and the flash-fried Brussels sprouts were perfection. We also sampled all of the desserts, and not a single one missed the mark. Their beer and wine selection is fantastic as well, and the blackberry cider was especially delicious. A huge shoutout to our server, Paul, who was warm, attentive, and incredibly efficient. He seemed to anticipate what we needed before we even had to ask. If you're looking for consistently amazing food, excellent service, and a restaurant that truly knows how to take care of its guests, do yourself a favor and visit Hunt & Gather. Your palate will thank you.

It was founded by Derek and Tiffany Langford, and Derek has since grown the operation further, adding a butcher shop and market right behind the restaurant. The concept sets itself apart from the typical beach-town raw bar by leaning into upscale farm-to-table cooking with a genuinely global menu, rather than sticking to the standard fried seafood and oyster shooter formula you find up and down Front Beach Road. I didn't come across a specific named industry award tied to this location -- the closest thing to a trophy in the building is a fishnet leg lamp perched over the bar, a nod to A Christmas Story. The food backs up that more ambitious approach. The wagyu carpaccio was an excellent way to start the meal, sliced thin and well seasoned without overwhelming the quality of the beef. The snapper ceviche followed, bright, citrusy, and clearly built around fresh local Gulf seafood rather than something pulled out of a walk-in. From there, the lamb ribs were the highlight of the night -- tender, well seasoned, and not something you typically find on a beach-town menu, which made it stand out even more. A Red Stag on the side paired well with the richer dishes without competing with them. Dessert closed things out with the crème brûlée cheesecake, a smart mashup of two classic desserts that somehow works better together than either does alone -- crisp caramelized top, dense creamy filling. Between the creative menu, the quality of execution across every course, and the fact that it's carving out its own identity rather than blending into the rest of the beach strip, Hunt & Gather is one of the better dinners you can find in Panama City Beach right now.

The 7 oz Lady Top Round Steak was cooked to perfection and expertly seasoned with drinks made to match. The Golden Steer is very much worth the hype. More so than that, we had accidentally left a phone behind at the restaurant as it was closing. We returned after the restaurant had closed hoping to retrieve it. He followed it with Angelo's "By the Sea" on West Beach Drive in the late 1950s, then moved to the beach for good in 1958, opening Angelo's Steak Pit at its current spot on Front Beach Road. In the 1970s, a giant steer statue named "Big Gus" (chosen by public contest) was erected out front to catch drivers' attention when the road went to four lanes, and it's still a landmark today. The restaurant expanded its entrance and lobby in 1980 and added the "East Pit" in the 1990s. It's now considered the oldest continuously operating restaurant in Bay County, still run by the Butchikas family. It holds a Tripadvisor Travelers' Choice award and an Experts' Choice award, placing it in the top 1% of Panama City Beach restaurants. The menu covers the classics well: ribs with their house BBQ sauce, ribeye grilled over hickory, and a Greek salad that's a nice contrast to all the smoked meat. Hurricanes are a good pick from the bar to go with dinner. For dessert, apple pie with cheese is a nice old-school touch that fits the restaurant's throwback character. A genuine slice of Panama City Beach history -- Big Gus out front alone is worth the stop, and the food backs up the decades of reputation behind it.
