    Small oyster bar at SurfRiders.

Update. We divided to go back to SurfRiders and have an early dinner. Started with a few ultras. They do not have mixed drinks but a good selection of beers and seltzers. We wanted oysters but my Wife does not do raw so we got the Parmesan baked. They were excellent. Small, petite and flavorful. I'll go separate with a review on hammerhead Fred's but these oysters topped HHF 's! Next and what we really went for are the crab legs. These are snow but the largest most beautiful snow legs you will find. We were set to get 2 clusters with no sides and the owner told us to get the dinner for 39.95 and the sides were free basically. No contest on the crab legs. Been to Alaska and short of that experience, these are the best snow I have had. I entertain clients a lot with a nice expense account and can order just about anything at the top places. This beats them. We did go to hammerheads first and ate a dozen of their chargrilled oysters, and a few fries. Trying to be good but you know. . Back to the crab legs. Just wanted to let you know we had a snack before but each of us had a cluster off the 40 dollar dinner and had a large plate of fresh broccoli and some steamed corn. Both of us had our fill of crab. They come out easily and one piece of meat. Just amazing flavor and dare I say, they felt fresh. Bright red color. These are delicious. The waitresses were very attentive and helpful. Great experience. Don't be fooled by the parking lot especially this weekend. There is a pool hall connected to the surfriders so just park and go in. They will take care of you. No I am not being paid. Just love to see a restaurant that really cares.

Wonderful and quick service, delicious and fresh oysters and great beer selection. You can also get food to go and large platters for a 2-4 people. Loved this place and will def come again! Is on the smaller side so consider that if you have a large party.

Tons of parking (large lot across the street, smaller lot right in front and another just around the corner) local vibe, friendly staff, great food and even better views. If the views are super important to you, ask for a high top table. Our low top was near the back door so we could easily see out but I could see where your view could be obstructed from other spots. Happy to continue to support this local business!

As the sign reads, "Last Local Beach Club". If you are looking for the ultimate Panama City Beach experience, Schooners is the place to be. There is just something about the atmosphere here. It is open, airy, and very laid back. There was a slight wait to be seated and there were people already waiting. They told us 15-20 minutes, but sat us in about 7 minutes. When we entered the restaurant, I was disappointed to see half the place with open tables, and wondered why they told us 15-20 minutes. Very weird. A little disconnected here. We were seated and our server was quick to meet us. We ordered drinks and the following apps: Loco Shrimp $13.00 Deep-fried shrimp tossed in sweet chili buffalo sauce served with celery & bleu cheese dressing or ranch; Loco Wings $9.00 Crisp & juicy... The perfect hangover cure or perfect anytime, tossed in sweet chili buffalo sauce, served with celery & bleu cheese dressing or ranch; Smoked Tuna Dip $15.00 Served with tortilla chips & sliced jalapeños; and Fried Founder Bites $12.00 Golden fried founder bites served with tartar sauce. For Entrees, we ordered The Flounder Tacos, Bacon Blue Salad, Chicken Fingers, East End Fish Tacos, and Jerked Chicken Sandwich. We also had sides of fries and hush puppies (they were the perfect level of sweet, savory, and a fresh crunch.) The sodas and teas were all free refills. Everything we ordered came out cooked perfectly...to my liking. The buffalo sauce was a little tame for my taste. The Flounder tasted a bit "fishy" but still good nonetheless. The Jerked Chicken was the winner for me. It was cooked perfectly, well but juicy. I added bacon and it just was the "icing on the cake." Would definitely recommend and will absolutely be back.

Where we were seated was on the top balcony where we had a beautiful view of the bay. Our service was very intentional with our occasion in mind, we were even served a praline dessert on the house! (Which was also delicious.) I ordered the Ginger Soy Tuna which had amazing Asian inspired flavor, and my wife's Red Snapper w/ white wine sauce was to die for. We were pleasantly impressed and would happily revisit for any occasion!

He was friendly, helpful, and accomplished. He made some helpful suggestions and made sure that we enjoyed our evening from start to finish. We had a nice table, but there are a handful of small booths that sit across from the oyster bar and have no view at all, so I'd request something near the water when you make your reservation (something I highly recommend.) We chose the calamari for our appetizer and it was simply delicious!!! It was so good we hated to stop eating it so we didn't run out of room for our entrees! I had the grouper piccata, grouper perfectly cooked to flaky goodness, on top of some savory spinach and tasty mashed potatoes. My husband ordered the prime rib which was a generous portion, served with mashed potatoes and green beans. Delicious! I wish they offered a baked potato and some sort of bread. They have hush puppies but they are not complimentary. Small details but would be much appreciated. Hunter said he had a surprise for us and brought a complimentary dessert for us to share! Such a nice touch! (Again, since it was our anniversary.) it was their praline bowl with fresh fruit, ice cream, and a bit of chocolate sauce. Again, soooo good! I highly recommend Grand Marlin. Parking is plentiful, service is excellent and the food is top notch. Dinner begins at 3 and they also have a Sunday brunch. Enjoy! And ask for Hunter. He's an exceptional server!
