Gustine is so close to Santa Nella so thought we would give it a try. I called and got in touch with Gladis who helped me throughout the entire process. She was so helpful and gave me so much guidance on what I needed. She suggested ordering cupcake samples to try out the flavors of the wedding cake.. she also gave me suggestions on what the best sellers were, what filling goes best with the bread and also gave me feedback on my budget. My husband and I drove from SJ to the bakery and tried them out and omg they were all so delicious!!! We ordered guava with custard filling, carrot cake with vanilla filling and strawberry with strawberry jelly. All were so good! The bread was so moist and the flavors were so different and tasty! I sent Gladis photos of my inspiration and they did exactly what I asked for. We ordered a 3 tier cake and also did an order of cupcakes and it was almost all gone.. haha. Luckily the hotel staff saved my husband and I a plate of cake. We got so much positive reviews from our guests on the bakery. The pricing was so reasonable and honestly worth more than what they charged because it was THAT GOOD!!! Oh and by the way- They also delivered the cake to the venue for a small delivery fee and set up for us. They put the cake topper on and the greenery on the cake and cupcakes. It was so stress free. Giant chunks of flavorful and moist chicken, shredded lettuce and tomatoes (I nixed the onions), on a super soft bagel. The bagel itself was so delicious; the mix of warm bagel and oils from the pesto and cheese made it delicious and soft. I scarfed down half my sandwich and saved the rest for later. My first time here, I knew I had to just dive in, so I picked the trio of churro flavors (cream, caramel, and strawberry) cut up into shareable sticks, and a scoop of ice cream (strawberry for me)! She answered every question I had, including how they cook a medium‑rare steak (every chef has their own interpretation, lol). She also gave an honest answer when I asked whether the vegetables used at dinner come from their greenhouse.
