House of Random is a cute place to come enjoy ice cream, cannoli, milkshakes and more. This is my second visit and each time the employees have been welcoming. They carry a friendly personality with smiles on their faces. Inside has a swinging bench that is fun to sit on and enjoy your treat. Bathrooms are clean. Tables are clean, no ice cream stuck to the table. I think my only downside is the flies. Both my visits, there has been flies swarming me while I'm trying to eat. I'm constantly swapping them away. It's a bit annoying while trying to eat. Maybe a fan above the entrance to keep them from entering may help? Other than that, that would be my only complaint. I will always stop at House of Random whenever I'm in Turlock and need something to satisfy my sweet tooth. Definitely recommend read more

We visited House of Random on a rainy December night. We were in town ice skating and took my brothers and nieces and nephews there. The staff was very friendly and the place is really cool inside. They have swings you can sit on and enjoy yourself, if you'd like to. My nephew really enjoyed that. I ordered the Cinnamon Delight with Dirty Tux (cookies and cream) ice cream. What a treat! Located in downtown Turlock, House of Random serves sweet treats like cinnamon rolls, cannolis, and pre-set ice cream sundaes (meaning their menu already has the appropriate toppings per flavor set up in the price; not sure if able to purchase ice cream plain at a discounted price tbh). They have some unique flavors like saffron and rose water (Bastani Sonati). The inside is warm and spacious with several seating varieties (swings?) for cute pictures I suppose! There are games like Uno or Jenga on the tables, which came in clutch while we waited for our order. We ordered: Turkish coffee in a cup - this comes with whip and a dusting of cocoa powder for a tiramisu effect. Very coffee-forward, which is how it should be! Chocolate chip cannoli - they make these to order so it was the best crunchy, creamy goodness. Service was great too - the woman who helped me was super nice. If you keep your receipt and bring it back next time, you get a slight discount! I got their mint chocolate chip ice cream in a bubble cone, it was super yummy, it does a little time to get your order since they make the ice cream and waffle cones in house!
