Celina is so talented and in tune with her craft. I only needed to tell her a little bit of my issues and body concerns before the session started and her intuition knew the rest. She has all the pressure you could ask for, and delivers it well when she rolls her velvety forearms down your back muscles. I'm going to look into how much it would cost to build a C.C. Signal. It's probably a worthwhile expense. The first time I used her services, she was at another spa called Artisan. She worked wonders there, but now that she's in her own element - I think somehow, her work speaks even louder. She seems to be even more comfortable, and her workflow really helps to give a great massage. My last session (first at her new location) really stood out: The vibe of the whole place is really neat, and her room is how I picture her home to be. I'll paint you a picture: The massage table sits diagonally in the middle of the room, the lights are low, but not too low, a playlist of perfectly ambient music plays while portraits of bad ass females look down on you. C.C. is a great communicator, and really uses what information you give over. Her massages have always been consistent, and focused. This time was no different. I think I might be an inch or two taller. After my 90 minutes of therapy, I went next-door and had some tasty sushi. Definitely going to repeat this experience again soon. read more

I went to C Squared for a prenatal massage and it was really great. I have never gotten a prenatal massage before so I wasn't sure what to expect or if the work on my back would be sufficient given I couldn't lay on my stomach, but Celina did a fantastic job of propping me in ways so she could access and thoroughly work all major muscle groups. She also asked at several points in the massage whether the pressure was too much/too little and before it ended she made sure I was satisfied before finalizing the service. CC was great! My hubby got me a groupon for my b day , good for 2 massages and CC was communicative about scheduling. I had to cancel several times and she was accomodating and good at communicating. Her office/studio is SO lovely. Very chic vintage vibe, great colors and lighting. The massage itself was awesome, she focused on the areas I requested and was very thorough. She definitely went for the full 60 minutes. A couple things to be aware of: 1. She only works on Fridays, so availablity is limited 2.Street parking around her office is also limited on Fridays (street cleaning everywhere), so allow ample time to park and walk. 3. I really needed someone who could firmly work out all the knots and tension I get from playing derby and computer work yet be gentle enough on my spine. Once the appointment was set up for in her studio space in NoHo I received a detailed email of the location and what to expect at the session. She is so professional and very interested in exactly what I was looking for in my massage. She took the time to really learn about the areas in my body that were giving me trouble and once the session started she told me the exact time she started and that we'd go for 60 minutes (not 50 like most). She checked in with me throughout the massage to make sure the pressure was good, etc. She is just great and I'm so happy I found her! I didn't feel rushed in any way and she truly gave me one of the best massages I have ever had. Sometimes massage therapists skip over the legs or do them quickly but I had told her my quads/thighs were tight and she took the time to work on them which was nice that she listened and spent time working on those muscles.
