Billy the bartender. Coldest beer ever. Great ambiance My new favorite bar in Green Bay! I wish I had this bar at home! It has great lighting, a little dark inside with lamps on each table providing a red hue to the room. We meet Billy our bartender who proceeds to serve us the perfectly cold beer in the perfectly cold glass! Is anything better than a really cold beer? The answer is no. Come to find out Billy is one of the owners and possibly the coolest guy. We were the during happy hour and great beer specials. My favorite is the sign in the washroom with the bars hours. They close when they get slow and they'll open early if you need it - all you need to do is call. It's like an emotional support bar and I love it! Step through the door and instantly be transported back to 1972 need I say more. C Street is just a bar/lounge with a nice wood and brass bar that runs nearly the the length of the building with tables against the wall a couple of couches up front. No darts or pool tables in here occasionally they have live music sometimes. The overall feeling you get when you are in C Street is that you should be in a 1970's film maybe with a young Christopher Walken. The bartenders are great very knowledgeable and friendly. This place is NOT closed!!! I stopped in last night after a long day and a fairly good meal nearby...all I wanted was to just relax and forget about everything. Although the decor is a bit dated and 'Rustic Woodsman' in nature (dark wood, cvered in layers of varnish and laquer) the people are pretty nice and the bar staff (Lorelei pictured) is attentive, with my glass never getting empty. Definitely worth a stop if you are stuck downtown and just want to chill. read more

I've only been to this place a few times, but there's a lot I like about it. For one, it's like walking back in time. Which is awesome, because I don't always want to sit somewhere with a strobe light flashing and EDM playing. Also, the service is always phenomenal. Today is my birthday and I tried to go a few other places that were closed, but knew I could come here because they always stay open according to their posted hours. It's just your average bar, but they do it all exceptionally well. The atmosphere is inviting, the staff is friendly and accommodating, the drinks are well made, and the prices are reasonable. All in all, it's just never a bad time. Some may say it's outdated, but in my opinion it's a perfect example of if it ain't broke don't fix it. It just works. read more

I really liked this bar. They played a really good variety of music and cool vibe. The bar was clean and nice and warm. The only reason for the lack of a star was we are pretty sure they put vermouth in the dirty martini that my husband ordered instead of rinsing the glass. Vermouth can kill your palate if you are not careful it is so overpowering. I think we would stop in another time though. read more

This is the go-to bar for my coworkers. It definitely is the chill-out and relax type of bar. The decor is old-timey, and reminds me of a movie set. Fargo comes to mind for some reason... probably because it also has that dose of Midwestern nice feel. I appreciated the old television that plays a tape of fish swimming around. Rumor has it that's one of two VHS's they have, the other is a mock-fireplace for winter. Now, onto what you really care about. This place does drinks right- priced right and good quantity. Very good quantity. Generous quantity, even. And they have a good variety. Need I say more? The bartenders are friendly, funny, & attentive. Stop by if you need a place to unwind. I don't know why but I never wanted to go to this bar and I'm not sure why. I just got a bad vibe, but I know other people that really like this bar. I've only been here twice. The first time I won't talk about....mainly because the details were fuzzy that night. The last time I went there I was quite impressed. Nice looking bar with an relaxing enviornment. Each end of the bar there are couches to sit on and there are Christmas lights all over. I got a moscow mule and it was pretty good. I love this bar! I live in Chicago and go "Home" once a month. I always make a plans to go to this Cocktail Lounge, and have my friends and family meet me there. the atmosphere is warm and inviting, the prices are very reasonable, and the bartenders are the best in the business! I especially love Lissa! she is top notch. she works every sat happy hour, I totally recommend stopping in there to visit her. You won't be disappointed. I used to be a regular here and it's always a spot I would stop with friends at the tail end of the night because they're notorious for being open late always.. unfortunately I wasn't treated very well by the owner when I went in and used the restroom before grabbing a drink. We were walking and we had been to a few places beforehand so, I needed to tinkle. As I came out the owner was very rudely questioning one of my male friends who was waiting a few feet from the restroom to see what I'd like to drink before he ordered, like a gentleman. As I approached him the owner looked at me and asked me in an accusatory tone, "Do you know this guy?!" And I said "yes, he's with me and our friends!" My friend then told me he was suspected of just coming in to loiter but, was trying to explain he was just waiting for me and the owner wasn't having it. The owner then had some very ignorant words to say and we left. When you're a bar owner, you shouldn't also be the drunkest person at said bar. read more
